  1. I’m assuming you’re kidding. OP, uh Orchard Park.
  2. Ire (couldn’t call you Fergs as we already have one of those guys) just think about eventually how many balls he’s going to bat down. Remember when Watt in his prime did that to EJ and Watt singlehandedly (no pun intended, well maybe a little) turned the game around on us for a TD.
  3. Can you imagine the fun he’s going to have against those scrubs for linemen against the Steelers. Get ready for OP grass Ben because you’re going to be lieing on it a lot.
  4. Embrace it bud, he is… Those arms are pure weapons. Now if we can get him to put on 10 lbs. of muscle, he could be a serious threat to any opposing offense. The other guy I’m having so much fun watching is AJ. He looks very powerful out there.
  5. Soldier Field supposedly has crap field conditions (yes the patchy grass) and a lot of players like the old Giants Stadium used to be a regular witch from players.
  6. Brennen it’s coming from those guys banging their heads against the wall after reading some posts on TBD. This was Morse in the off season. He obviously took a break from lifting in the off season. 🤪🏋️‍♀️🧐🏈 ”GOD, WHAT IS THAT HUFF GUY WRITING ABOUT ME NOW. HERES WHAT IM GONNA DO”
  7. They won’t. Next week will determine whether we place State Fromm on the PS, and cut Webb or reverse. I hope we keep Webb and let From. Figure out his next move. Remember Webb was a 3rd round pick in 2017 to Fromm’s 5th. I see more value in retaining Webb for insurance, and his coach on the field stuff. I’ve said it the interesting for me is in total we keep 10 guys for WR/TE. We’ll see how it splits out. I think we only keep 3 RB’s (not counting Jones), and maybe Williams makes it on the PS.
  8. Kid, you’re kidding right? It’s the NFL. Guys get hurt all the time, hence we rested every starter for the most part or gave them very limited duty. I doubt youll see almost any starters next week, except a little for the RB’s and Dawkins. Dawk has to play his way back into football shape so he’ll probably go two series, Motor and Moss maybe two as we are really workin g on the running game, and I wouldn’t doubt them only allowing Hollister in for 1-2 series. They can throw Knox in there the rest of the game. I be they only allow Mitch in for the first quarter and let Webb and State Fromm for the other three quarters.
  9. Not happening. He saves very little and unless another team is desperate, I doubt it. Might as well keep him for depth or with the continuation now of the pandemic PS rules, throw him there. Remember these are only vanilla called preseason games. Addison will only be a pass rushing specialist so he might only play on third downs. McD will figure it out.
  10. So can we nickname them the Scorpions? Too Early? Or I can just see them with their beats on listening to this prior to the game while Allen is listening to Elvis. Let Allen watch this video pre game and he’ll have an aneurism he’ll be so amped up. Barbarian knows as that was my pre-powerlifting meet music when I started in college. A good sniff of Primatine mist, and you can deadlift the world! I think a bag of Tim Horton’s will do it.
  11. Good, let him drop Cam’s balls. I stuck up for him his first two years, but I’m growing tired of critical drops even if in a PS game, when Hollister looked solid.
  12. Im scanning through the thread again, and just caught you’re comment. I started laughing as I was thinking the same thing. GB the other day made some references to where Daboll could land next year and this would be a perfect place. They have (not today but overall) a solid defense, they still have the Beast called Mack (no offense to our TBD Beast oh great one), and what would be laughable is him developing Fields into a very good QB, literally copying the McD philosophy of how he built this team. After a year Fields will have improved in all the rookie mistakes, and be ready for a creative guy like Daboll. Down the road in a good system with continuity, a line and weapons, Fields will probably develop into a good NFL QB, and he won’t Duke it out with Rodgers as you know he’s gone (my over/under is the Steelers, not the Broncos).
  13. Down to 81 is what Sal said by Tuesday. I know you asked what, not when, but I assumed someone else would ask. McD announced his a little early last week, I believe trying to give these guys a chance to latch on with another team. Next week after the Packs is the one I’m interested as last week and this week, some may not even recognize their names. Next week is the time to find out how the battles truly went in practices. No surprise for me from what has already been written as game balls. The only one of note is I hate getting too amped up about okay in a preseason game, but for at least this year, and I hope another and pay him more next year is we finally have our Reich in Mitch. He looked incredible and so natural in our scheme. Oh, and no I don’t want to hear about trade opportunities. This guy is going to be great insurance for Allen and us. He may not have the same quality play as Allen, but he okays just like him and will in my eyes god forbid Allen bags up a shoulder or elbow could give us 3-1 in the middle of the season depending upon the opponents. I appreciated Barkley, but it was night and day how Allen and him play. Mitch, enjoy the year, comradere, the wings and pizza, feel what it’s like to be on a functional, consistent winning model of a team. You certainly deserve it after purgatory in Chicago. After watching Stevenson today again, I’m getting more and more inclined to want 7 wr’s, but that means only Hollister #1, Knox, and Gilliam (I know he’s a FB). You could potentially hide Sweeney a little easier on the PS as he didn’t even play last year. Just floating it.
  14. It’s tough these days as you have to try and anticipate what the QB is going to do at the last second, and although a definite penalty, as you just can’t have helmet to helmet hits. These LBers have to somehow miraculously hit with the shoulder pad with the head to the side and hit between the numbers on the jersey, and oh btw, you have to almost alligator roll off in mid air so you don’t land on the body of the QB full force. My point is that is a lot to know and act on in a split second, but by these rules, that was a penalty. I really don’t think he was intending to decapitate Fields, and Fields probably didn’t have his strap fastened down properly. Lastly, I think it looks a lot worse than it really was in real time.
  15. Oh I’m sure. I just remember when I first moved to Tampa (Bills/Giants SB week), my buddies took me to of all places Hooters on Hillsborough where Gruden was a cook as a kid as his father I think coached for McKay. They were excited to bring me to a place that made real Buffalo Wings. I was confused, I’m like ma’am you make wings from a Buffalo (naive 21 yr. old). She said no, like the wings from Buffalo, NY. I replied politely, but a little sarcastic, um I’m from Buffalo, moved here last week and we just call them Wings. She then brought out breaded wings and I tried to be a trooper to be nice, but after she left, I’m like guys, these are absolutely horrific. Can you get them the normal way, because we don’t bread wings. You just call that fried chicken and I can go to the colonel’s if I want that crap. Bottom line, if you liked, great, but not for me. I know that Kenmore K of C well. My dad played and then managed the K of C softball team in Lackawanna, so as a little kid we had to travel in our wood wagon to all of the different Knights in the summer. It was actually some fond memories, and the Franceils sherbet on the way home on South Park Ave., was the best part.
  16. I’d agree just to go through the teams website. There will be lots available. The newness of Urban and Lawrence will be worn off by Nov. 7th, and even if they are building to a good team, the first year they will have a bunch of losses up front. They aren’t beating the Broncos, Titans, Cardinals, Seahawks, and Dolphins. So my guess is we will face them at 2-5 best guess. Even if they don’t open the tarps, you could easily get cheap tix outside the stadium. I understand peace of mind, but you’ll probably be able to migrate. In the one end zone is a really cool inside/outside bar that has the A/C blowing hard. It’s November so less likely ungodly hot, but it does happen occasionally. Guaranteed there will be 20,000+ Bills fans there. I’m normally there every 6 years or so just not going to swing it this year. If you don’t have family or friends and want a hotel close to the stadium, right across the drawbridge which is maybe 1/4-1/3 mile from the stadium is the Crowne Plaza. It’s nice enough and has a Ruth’s Chris in it. You may want to book early as they fill up when they have home games. Directly across the bridge from the hotel on the stadium side are a bunch of restaurants and bars. It’s kid friendly enough. Nice part if you stay there you can pretty much walk to find entertainment, eat, drink if you participate, and head over to the game. I looked up for you the Worlds Largest Cocktail Party is the week before on Halloween. Not sure you know that’s the FL/GA game. People arrive by the thousands by the previous Tuesday in RV’s and hotels are impossible to get anywhere near the stadium. That is a zoo, but it’s a really fun time. I hope that helps and PM me if you need anything else. MGK
  17. Spotrac has us today at $5.3 mil. in cap space, and OTC has us at $7.2 mil. in space. Probably somewhere in the middle. All the rooks are signed and typically teams like around this amount for an emergency fund for signing a guy off the streets when one of our starters goes to IR or PUP and looks like our for a major portion of the season.
  18. Alright Mango, I can live with that request as you’re a friend. This Allen’s Heroes is not even relevant as Kelly’s Heroes was based on the name of the movie synonymous with Kelly’s real name so I’m a little Captain Obvious on this one. How about Allen Powers in Goldmember? Dr. Evil is McD Mini Me is Beasely and so on.. Yeah baby Yeah! Shagadelic.
  19. It’s funny you say that as I’ve always thought the same. The other Dibiase sounds less like his brother than Nate. I’m about to turn on now as the round table is starting With Sal, Eric, and I think Steve.
  20. You sparked a fond memory as a kid. We thought we were so cool having HBO in the early 80’s. Thanks House! Now, Dad is Great, Give us the Chocolate Cake!
  21. Unstable, I’m getting unstable as you basically listed the whole team. 🤩😇🙏👏🦬. Brother, I’m just kidding as that was a very thorough breakdown. Some of the guys you mention like Hamlin, Johnson and several more I think are competing for a PS spot or to get on with a weaker team in the league. I can’t believe I’ve finally lived long enough that our PS guys are going to be more than good enough for a team like the Jags or Texans as starters. You nailed it on just about every battle. Thanks for the thoughtful post.
  22. Breaded wings are fried chicken. Tasted one once. Disgusting to me. The old fashioned way is the only way (for me).
  23. Well said SoCal. This isn’t Dallas that a makes a bajillion $ (I know it’s not a word for the syntax police) or LA, or Vegas. The team may be valued at $2+ Bil., but they forked out $1.4 bil., to buy it, whatever they spent on the Sabres, built up downtown with the luxury hotel and common area, etc. They've made Buffalo a better place, and will end up kicking in some $, but the county and state will most likely contribute a significant portion if it. They do get to borrow $200 mil. from the league, and I believe there are very favorable tax implications which is why Billionaires want to buy into a recession proof business. Cleveland never thought Modell would move the team, but he did when he needed another stadium to be profitable. They lose the team, have to wait three years, Baltimore comes out firing on all cylinders as a winning team, and the new Browns sucked for 20 years. The funding won’t be 100% public $, but it’s not going to be 100% private either. They’ll figure it out, and no the team isn’t moving. Most of the real negotiations we’ll never really know as it will all be behind closed doors for two years, and hacks like this author will keep on writing chicken little stories. As Sandra Bullock from the Blindside said…. ”Don’t get you’re p…..s in a wad”.
  24. In the mirror darkly. I prefer this version. Primarily because T’Pol has the best abs ever. Is it time for the Ponn Farr yet? Ralonzo, if we both know these references, we’re not just Bills nerds, we’re Star Trek too. Good catch on my reference. It’s exactly what I was referring to with the original quote.
