  1. Without any h9merism, I see good fits in SF, and Miami for different, but similar reasons. Assuming Jones wants to at least show with talent and a solid line what he can do, he gets to showcase his talents for a dress rehearsal for any team. Take the league minimum as he already made $15.3 mil. this year. SF- They have a chance to salvage their season, but Purdy’s shoulder is banged up, and could use two weeks to heal. Maybe Jones comes in and makes at least a split. I don’t see them beating us, but maybe a wildcard spot. He’d play behind a great line and a ton of weapons. Shanty is excellent with QB’s. Miami- Tua is one hit away from the season is toast. They have an ok line and phenom weapons based on timing. Im thinking like his agent. What is best for his career. Carolina is not a good fit unless they’ve given up on their second year player. Besides their team stinks which is what he just left. if he takes the vet minimum on a playoff contention team and shines a little, he may get another crack at it in 2026 like Darnold is doing now in MN.
  2. You mean after the subtropical Cleveland Lake Effect weather? It’s not exactly a paradise in that grey filled area.
  3. I care about the lions to see what they look like before our game in 3 weeks. Otherwise, on MNF the Chargers/Ravens game is interesting.
  4. Once waivers are claimed I can see Daniel Jones taking the league minimum for a chance to be out of the spotlight, but get ready for us, allow Purdy to really heal, and get ready for the playoffs. They can still do it. Jones would finally have a line to protect hi and more than one weapon. Jones plays a game or two, is probably the best backup in the league and can show what he can do not in a dumpster fire. I hope Purdy is ok as he’s a good QB and bucking the odds in Mr. Irrelevant.
  5. It’s double what’s suggested and he’d be worth it. We also don’t need to extend Allen yet. It’s to his advantage as well as his camp knows as the cap goes up, his next contract is even higher. they can renegotiate Von to get one more year out of him amd lessen the dead cap. Benford, Benford eventually will be extended. I trust Beane and don’t proclaim to be a GM. Besides we’re in season. This can be fodder in February when we’re in the desert for football post SB.
  6. I’m not going to worry about it until it happens. Too many variables and am the least superstitious. It’s a fools errand to think we can only beat them in the regular season, or well if we beat them in the season, then they have to beat us in the playoffs. We don’t know if we face each again, what is each teams injury status, etc. etc. Anyway, I’m just going the ride. Right now, I’m just thinking of SF, amd keep an eye on records while we are on a bye.
  7. I don’t think the possible surprises will happen, but you never know. Even a tool like Haslam should know his Browns mess is his fault with signing Watson. That was a colossal blunder on the level of the Saints horrible trade with Ditka as the architect.
  8. I laughed yesterday when was on one of the radio shows. Jests being the Jests.
  9. Selfishly, I love the 4:25 stand alone games for CBS, as I’m up at 5 am at the latest on weekdays. It’s just reminiscent of the hype for Brady/Manning games. It will be nice for a week off as it gives guys time to heal, amd I can relaxingly like many of you just leisurely watch a football Sunday.
  10. IDK Scott, as Goff has been underrated for a long time, but yet keeps winning. As far as the power rankings, I never get too excited or rattled as to the numbers. Late in the year, I’ll passingly take a glance. It looks like most of the different ones peg the Bills as 2nd or 3rd. At the end of the day, the only ranking that matters to me is the seeding for the playoffs.
  11. Agreed with the OP, this was always the biggest game of the year at least for the last several weeks. I was relatively confident we would beat the Chiefs as we did the last three years and their offense has been mediocre at best. The Lions are on the hand a steamroller. Whether we win or not in a month, it will give us a preview of a possible playoff game preview. The good news barring no further starters injured is we will have by then Keon Coleman, Amari Cooper, Spencer Brown, Dion Dawkins, and my best excitement of Matt (the Missile) Milano. This will be a real heavyweight fight.
  12. You know we all luv ya Hondo. Besides you remind me of the main character on SWAT. Hondo can do it. You’d have to watch the show to remember the episode. We’re all bored, but elated this weekend as Coleman, Cooper, Spencer, Dawkins, and Matt”the Missile” Milano should be back for SF in Buffalo. Rock on my man. Hey, we’re just friends here on the board so no worries.
  13. But it won’t and is somewhat stupid on these players as they have a greater chance of breaking their hand then injuring Josh.
  14. Well, if the Miami game is late in the year (In Miami), we might head down for that one. ATL is also an easy one for us as ATL is fun town amd there is a delta flight every hour on. The hour from Tampa.
  15. we’ll if we have to giveaway one of our home games to Europe, one can only hope it s a crappy team like New Orleans. Then again, I’ll table off season discussions for the off season. What’s the rush.
  16. Hondo, you last statement we’ll never know so I don’t think about those questions. No one is ever going to cop to it so why bother. I think McD does everything he can to win each week, amd don’t buy he’s holding back. The only evidence I see is All in the biggest games lets it fly. It was not an accident he ran twice as much in the Chiefs game than he did most of the season. We’ll see it again in Detroit, and the playoffs.
  17. The Chargers should have won the last game, you never know what you get from Winston in the Browns (Saint or sinner), Houston should have their WRs back or at least one, Pitt has proven they are for real this year with a revitalized Wilson, and Denver should have beaten them last time if not for that chip shot blocked FG. Juxtapose SF is not the same, and Detroit is a wrecking machine. I peg us at 14-3 with the head to head. The last piece to this for the #1 seed is the Steelers. @ Browns @ Bengals Browns again @ Eagles @Ravens @Steelers Theres no way a Tomlin led team will run the table. The terrible towels will probably lose 2. So nothing is easy, but I’m feeling a lot better for at least a fighters chance at the #1 seed. What I don’t know is will we learn enough in the first Detroit game to beat them in the big show. For me, it’s enjoy the ride amd we’ll know in a couple of months.
  18. My feelings on the Ravens and Texans losses… Ow, what’s that for, Don’t worry it’s in the past. Oh great and wise Rafiki. You can learn a few things from some Disney movies. Im honestly, not worried about any AFC team on the path to the SB. That doesn’t mean we will with the AFCCG, just we can. As far as the SB, if it happens this year, we’ll probably face the Lions so a healthy Bills team in four weeks will most likely be a preview. That would be a fun game in NO.
  19. We’ll draft one next year. We still have 10 picks and can develop a 6th RD pick. I don’t believe we have a 7th, but two 6ths. We also have half our draft picks. In the first four rds as long as we get the comp pick. Thats the easy solution. We can really add to our depth in this draft, we’ve eaten so much of the dead cap so far, amd can afford to extend the guys we need to maintain continuity.
  20. He did find some nice talent, but he let Satan take over, I mean Rodgers, whoops. As Thanos said, this was inevitable (actually I replaced I am with this was). That clown Johnson will screw it up. If he just took a page from the Pegulas, hire good football minds, and get out of their way.
  21. I don’t know about blowing the Ravens out in the playoffs, but it’s plausible we win. The same goes for the Texans. The Texans would definitely be a win. The Ravens game if that happens will need to start fast. We can’t take the methodical approach where we feel out the opponents in the first half. We go up by two TD’s and that plays into our hands as the Ravens can’t rip us apart on the ground, and I’ll take Josh over Lamar six days a week and twice on Sunday.
  22. Agreed on e tending these guys which is why I think we hold off on finding some free agent next year. We also have Douglas warrants a two year deal. Keep the gang together. Wee a top team for a reason.
  23. I thought it was kind of funny when Watt chugged a beer with a Bills fan. I know it was staged, etc, but who care. They had fun with theBills mafia and it looked like they enjoyed it.
  24. wait for two weeks from now when we may see a Milano sighting. It couldn’t happen at a better time. We’ll need everyone for Detroit. They are a wrecking crew.
