  1. When I scanned this grid, it pretty much infers it’s a toss up this year between us and the Chiefs as to who represents the AFC in the SB.
  2. I just watched and was good. They put together a nice show. I can’t believe I’m writing this one, but I actually enjoyed Edelman (now that he’s not playing). I don’t want to get off topic, so for those who will watch it, you’ll like Judy Batista’s piece with Edelman. (So as not to be misleading, it’s the stuff we shouldn’t bring up on this board vs. another).
  3. FWIW Albany, I like Paramount for a couple of reasons. Paramount owns CBS. I’ve mentioned before I enjoy working out so for the cardio portion, I’m too bored listening to music and I get dizzy trying to read a book on an elyptical so I watch a tc show or movie and takes my mind off the pouring sweat. We’ll, for me again CBS has Seal Team, SWAT, Blue Bloods, amd I even like the new Magnum PI. Add to that Inside the NFL and it’s awesome. They offer as a combined package Showtime with Paramount as an entity. I hope that helps. As far as the show, I love the fact that as long as they are picking us to get into the SB is great much less winning it. Thanks for sharing bud.
  4. Doc, it’s the nebulous factor of the O Line coming together, but also a suspect secondary. Add to that TJ Watt their best player is only doing Individual drills as he’s holding out and Pitt is known for once a season starts no negotiations. add an offense that threw for an avg of 6 yards with talent and are they really that good. I think we’ll beat them by 10.
  5. Hap, good question, and I’ve used this example both to patients when describing A1C with diabetics is 9+1=10/2=5. 6+4=10/2=5 too. Do you want an A1C where you are a BG of 40 and 400, or do you want a variance of 70 vs. 135. I know you’re medical history so you get my point. Pt. differential is a data point, but needs to be taken in context as you bring up. There have been some comments about driving up the score, and love it, but we relied so much on the pass, look at the injuries to the WR’s. Maybe there is no correlation, but if we didn’t have one guy with a broken leg, torn oblique, and two with knee and ankle problems, could we have done better when it mattered. Maybe not. If we can make a difference and win late with RB’s as they are more competent (we hope this year) that gives our most important weapon, the passing game, I’m all for it. I’m also in the beginning of the 4th quarter we are up by 21 or more, happy to have MT in there and protect JA17. I want to win, but I want our guys healthy right t the end of at all possible so if that means we win by 10 on a particular team, vs. 21, no problem for me. You can always throw you’re starters back in if thing go south halfway in the 4th quarter.
  6. I’m sure you know you can google bills backer bars and then give the location. I understand you probably are asking if someone knows one is better than another. For example here in Tampa, there are several, but depends where in the city you are staying in a hotel. have fun.
  7. From the dead. Not even Genie from Disney can do that one. I think 25 years now.
  8. You should pm ice bowl. He may be a packer, but a great guy and he would know in that town where there’s a bar that will air the bills. just a thought if you’re in that town.
  9. It’s a good business decision. The Bills are awesome so Bills fans want more. The Sabres are absolutely atrocious so cut them to one hour. IMO, you guys are a little too hard on Sal. He’s more fair minded than Tasker and Brown (I know they technically work for the Bills) as they sometimes are so positive when problems it’s hard to listen. I’ve listened to more than enough Sal taking the obvious shots at the D Line last year, etc. On the other hand I gave up on the afternoon show as they are bafoons.
  10. Doc, if you’re reading Barley’s point for all of us unless you’re already doing it, we should have to list say next week our week one choice. That makes sense and you don’t have to keep track as that’s nuts. My humble vote is each of us self police and next week when I believe the Rams win this week, I have to place my week 1 choice and keep it running throughout the season. That’s a great idea barley.
  11. Hap thanks for sharing. I dropped and did 50 pushups after watching the video. Only one word comes to mind, WOW!
  12. Agreed Barley. I’m going to have to place in my notes on phone so I don’t cheat and use the same team twice. Honestly you could cheat by taking the opponent for the Texans all year except the extra div games. They are going to be Detroit bad in the past.
  13. You know Harry, the original owner of Blasdell Pizza and his family the Gearys borrowed the recipe from Abbott which is why at least when I lived there was exactly the same. I used to deliver for Blasdell my first two years in college before working for the Buff News. Back then (90’s) you couldnt tell the difference. Pepperoni well done, Extra sauce. Sucks b/c I can order from MT and have it sent down here. I can’t ship a Blasdell so when my sisters fly down on vacation they each bring me two pizza subs. I totally blow the chicken, turkey, fish diet and eat both of them in 24 hours.
  14. Statistically maybe as we use the running game slightly more, or the defense plays back to 18-19 standards, but his play will do nothing but improve. I really don’t care what his next gen stats predicts. Allen has been beating this crap for his career.
  15. Rams - 1 Survivor pools are fun so thanks.
  16. There are way too many scenarios in this simulation to be believable. KC loses 6? Seattle falls apart? Indy has that record? I think there is a possibility if Wentz goes back to his SB run form they could be decent, but they just lost their star WR. Im glad it’s fun for you guys. To me it was click bait, and I unfortunately took the bait.
  17. Not when you have an iron stomach. If he eats a bunch vs. just two burritos, then yes, a problem. I’ll agree in the sense that I eat them only once every year or two, I splurge which is not my norm, so in that sense, you’re right brother.
  18. It was obvious as Deshaun Watson would’ve just used as another forum if he refused to play or maybe he did behind closed doors. Good luck Tyrod. He’s a solid backup. That’s it.
  19. Tell Hammers you’re one of us and get there by 8 am. Other suggestions good but a close awesome place is Blasdell pizza. You cannot do better. Well done extra sauce. can’t go wrong. Don’t forget mighty. People from there take it for granted as they don’t know how crappy it is outside of Buffalo, and worth the real home experience. Have fun brother.
  20. I’ll let you guys speculate, but small correction moreso to look back farther is 60+ years, not 50. Before most of our time, but some greats when looking back at the AFL teams. The seasoned veterans on the board are probably more qualified to compare as they watched them compared to their peers of the day as it was a different game.
  21. If they activate him for jet sweeps week to week in Breida, he would be great and experienced in KO returns. That speed and elusiveness along with doing it in SF, could give him more touches and save us there. As to punt returns Virg., you’re guess is as good as mine. Stevenson should be healthy, but will they activate him, or do they activate him and due to Breida in there, do they inactivate McKenzie some weeks. Interesting takes on Hyde, although with his age, I wouldn’t want him getting gassed as we need him at safety 100% of the time. Beasely was interesting, amd this out of the box speculation, but what about Wallace?
  22. That was a misdemeanor incident, not felony and never laid hands on the family. He’ll be fine. My guess is he went to rehab or mental health assistance, and the judge slaps him with a fine and probation.
  23. We’re going to hold you to that proclamation. 🧐🏈🤪🏋️‍♀️👌🙏 Seriously, I wish Norman the best as he seems to be a good teammate last year. If we need veteran help due to injury, don’t flame me, but the guy who would not take much given his minor legal things is Sherman. Not crazy about some of his takes in the past, but he fits perfect in this scheme, and would be fine at depth if Levy went down. With the community stuff Norman did in Buffalo last year, I hope he makes it in SF if not just for depth.
  24. My sons at this time of the year always ask me and I to them their predictions. Football is a common bond for us as I coached them in flag and youth tackle football. So, I told them this weekend I thought it was going to be a Bills/Rams SB. One of them said KC/ Rams, and the other Bills/Bucs. When discussing reasons as they grew up in Tampa so their Bills fandom is basically my brainwashing them over their lives, but are more fair minded than me (I’m an obvious, but I think pragmatic Homer). For me I think (hope) we’ve done enough to get a four man pass rush and will be much more physical up front. Sanders to me especially from last year is an upgrade from Brown. I have hopes for effectiveness in our running game when used. For the Rams, they had the #1 defense, and Stafford has never had a running game, and a good defense. He will be perfect for McVeigh’s high flying offense. Im not predicting who is the winner yet as I want to see both teams for a month or so. My boys said dad why such a wimp. My response to them was guys, did you really think the Bucs were going to win the SB when they lost to the Saints twice. They quieted down at that point.
  25. Zero, I like you’re points and you know by avatar MGK is my favorite Bills QB all time, but maybe 10th overall. You’re forgetting Montana who is 4-0 in the SB, and Bart Starr who won 5 of 7 NFL Championships including the first two SB’s. Slow you’re roll on Mahomes. He is amazing, but he’s 1 and 1 so maybe in 10 years as he’s going to be duking it out with our guy for the next decade. I love Mahomes as a QB, but he could have catastrophic injuries in two years. I mean Luck if he stayed healthy would be one of the absolute best if he lasted another decade. I like you’re other guys. that’s why this is a barstool conversation that there will be a winner. It’s like Marciano would beat Ali in his prime. Can’t compare.
