  1. Spags, you grow on us like moss. Have fun with that team. You’ll be lucky to be 7-10. Meanwhile back at the ranch, we will finish 12-5 to 13-4. Have fun with you’re two destroying losses to us by 18 or more pts.
  2. Yeah, but we might move up for him if Beanes motivated. They did try to get the same type of guy from the Skins. I refuse to call them that stupid name Commanders.
  3. I can see a world where we take him at 57. I know we could also grab WR, G, TE, but a pass catching RB with speed isn’t necessarily a bad idea.
  4. 1, 2, 3. 3. Love that Sesame Street bit. Im with you if Hall or another stud is there.
  5. I’ve been saying forever having Brady keep winning while we keep destroying the Cheats four of five times soon to be 6 of 7 if there is not 50 mph winds. It’s why I’m hopeful the OP game is in September. Who takes a Guard in the 1st? They needed a WR. Makes no sense.
  6. The Gabe Davis example is an outlier with a great GM in Beane in the 4th. Just like Diggs and Milano are outliers in the 5th. Beane made a calculated move to ensure the CB he rated as a true #1. I don’t look back on that one. We still have excellent talent in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, and can get solid players. I wouldn’t be surprised at all of Beane thinks the target is worth it to move up in either round with our 5th, two 6’s, and as I said before we draft a punter in the 7th.
  7. I watched Elam a lot in college as UF is on every week in Tampa, and he is solid and quick. Im sure McD’s coaches will need to develop him and any College CB is not necessarily NFL ready day 1. Everyone will want him on the field right away, but Dane may start in September even if Tre is good to go.
  8. 2nd and 3rd should end up in no order RB, G, WR, TE. Two of those four options will be based on their board. I agree our 7th RD will probably be a punter. Most punters aren’t drafted, and most 7th RD guys end up on the PS, except ST guys.
  9. I wouldn’t be surprised if Hall is our 2nd. WGR keeps talking about another WR, but if you get a difference making RB who is a McCaffrey kind of guy so running, speed, pass catching, I can see a move up as Beane is known for moving up in the 2nd. what’s the safe pick is a WR and/or TE or G in the next two rounds.
  10. Thank you my six fingered friend. That was funny as I don’t go to other fan boards. Seems like a very odd pick. They needed so many other areas and had talent available.
  11. There is value to keep drafting RB’s as they are cheap hires for four to five years. The 1st RD pick needs to be a high revenue pick like DE, DT, CB, WR, and of course QB. That 5th year option is valuable. I wouldn’t agree with a RB, in the 1st. It doesn’t make sense. CB or WR makes a lot of sense when our salaries will start to balloon. Now the cap will exponentially go up, but to think we can’t find another RB in the 3rd or 4th, and vol heartedly use them up for four years and not sign the second contract is not good business. I expect we take a RB mid rounds almost every year.
  12. I’ve not read that part. Thank you for sharing. The hernia is nothing to me. What you describe of serious would be a concern.
  13. The question of what if Booth’s injury is worse than thought is unlikely. Hernias heal just fine. I had one and it was a severe tear. That doesn’t detract me at all from wanting Booth. Could he maybe need until October to be 100%? Maybe, but we’re not drafting for day 1 ability.
  14. Nothing like a BB muffin. Dinner? Eh…
  15. I’ve been told that by loved ones. I call it selective hearing.
  16. Anyone still worried when he scramble every so often? Hes sliding a lot more now, and if memory serves, all of his injuries over the last four years were in the pocket. He can handle the occasional scramble. Again he’s much better at sliding now than in 18.
  17. Every time I see you’re posts I always reach back to my youth watching this movie and even the rerun tv episode of it. For you buddy. BTW- spot on with Maddy. She’s good for fluff pieces for a few minutes on OBL. Anything more and I want to vomit.
  18. Samuel doesn’t really have much negotiating power so he’ll eventually have to either sit out which he’ll be fined daily, and will have to get back to work by week 10. Lynch has been on record he’s not entertaining trade offers why would you blame him. The 49ers have been deep in the playoffs for two of the last three years. What motivation would they have with one of their best weapons. This is much adou about nothing.
  19. I was just in high level meetings and heard… Let me float something… Mods if this topic is already in another thread…. Seriously, this a no brained in that he has steadily improved for three years and the more talent around him will result in steadily improved play this year. Between Settle or Jackson next to him internally, and Von and Rousseau on the outside will make him penetrate even more collapsing pockets.
  20. Thanks as always Happy. Most of this info. Has been reported, discussed these topics on NFLR and NFLN.
  21. Seriously doubt it to you’re question. Depending upon when we draft a CB, we’ll probably make some offers on one of the older guys, and Beane finds a way to maneuver money around for a vet minimum prove it rental.
  22. Offense- Bo Jackson Defense- LT No explanations should be needed for these amazing athletes.
  23. IDK, nor do I care to read through all four pages so I spot checked it, and I’m genuinely sorry she’s leaving she balances the guys out. It’s too bad as that was the one NFL football program I liked at times. I never found her to be anti Bills or Allen. it’s not about how hot she is on the show, but I found her on topics of fantasy etc., to be interesting and informative. I enjoy of a woman NFL reporter or host is well educated and does some hw. Prior to shows. That would be unlike the ESPN arsclowns who neverendingly trying for the latest hot take that some knuckelheads feel compelled to keep sharing. Don’t care.
  24. Dude, you’re kidding right? There have been like 20 threads and parts of threads on him. Go do the search button. Type in. edmunds and you’re going to feel silly as this exact topic has been talked to death, been on WGR, NFLR, NFLN, etc.
  25. Nuccman, lots of TE’s are in this decade of TE’s lined up outside to spread out defenses. They do that to Kelce all the time as well as others, but they still are TE’s. WR’s have a different skill sets, than pass catching TE’s. There’s just no way around that point. It was the old days where TE’s were in line blockers. Now they have to do it all. If the team designates them as a TE, they are a TE.
