  1. Happy for the Bengals and will have to be taken seriously in the North. This really helps is as the Chiefs crapped the bed again. The Titans still have a tough schedule ahead.
  2. Billz, not sure. The Bengals are 4-2 and a long shot, but they face them today and again. They also have the Rams and Packs and they are both very good, not to mention the Browns twice who are better than the record. I don’t think the Saints will beat us so if no hiccup losses, we have the Bucs between us and the #1 seed. That game is going to be more important then people realize now. I’ve looked at each schedule and it’s very plausible the Bucs are 11-1, and we are 10-2 going into that game. It will be talked about all week as the game of the week.
  3. He threw for 160 yards (RJ). He sucked, and Flutie brought them all of those wins to get to the wildcard game. Wade was eventually going to get fired. He shouldve said screw you Ralph and played Flutie. If they won and made it closer to the SB, he would've been forgiven. We were better than the Titans. We could've made it to the Rams, and that would've been fun. The #1 punishing defense against the Greatest Show on Turf. Big Old Teddie would've sat on Marshall Faulk and stopped him.
  4. Klos, I dont know if it is common place, but any reference where condoned is not a good look for the league, not to mention the favored tax position the NFL has with the Feds.
  5. The two mentioned below seems of interests to Bills fans as a Cincy and KC win keeps us right in it. Whatever you think Hap. It’s not that big of a deal to me as it’s our break too to just casually watch games and do other stuff. Whatever the crew likes.
  6. 13-4 to 14-3 is very reasonable. Let the overreaction Tuesday go, and get excited for what is about to happen. Watch this board when they rip off 6 wins straight.
  7. What sucks is the federal government never did anything about all of that land that needed to be revitalized where Bethlehem Steel sat as the EPA would have to spend years cleaning up the land to be resold. If it was done, it is incredibly prime beautiful real estate and a ton of it. I don’t see them ever doing anything with that area as it would be too expensive to make it habitable. Downtown would be very expensive, expect the state and Fed’s to put billions in infrastructure if happened so get used to construction on roads and bridges for years and years. The cost of the game would be a lot more, no tailgating, and is not going to infuse that much money to downtown as it is what 8-10 events a year. It’s not like they are gone g to go downtown (twice the costs) and then even more if a dome (to get more events). It would never come up with the ROI.
  8. He’s a developing player and seems to be coming together this year. Kelce didn’t do much his first year, and Gonzalez had a slow career for his first couple of years (Shannon Sharpe as well). I’m so happy to see him become much more dependable. The hand is temporary, and is exactly what we need to get to the next step offensively. Mission accomplished along with upgrading WR with Sanders. Next step, the RB’s. I’m not looking for a King Henry, nor even some bell cow back. Just improved performance which has glimpsed the first few games. This offense is coming together and will be better than last year. It will come out over the next six games and Knox will be a big part of it. These DC’s must be scratching their heads in how to stop Buffalo moving forward. With all of the overreaction Tuesday week, this week, we did score 31 pts., left two penalties for another 14 and then some on offense. Glad to see Knox (I guess from the OP they call him Rambo, didn’t know that one) getting recognized. That must ease that pain a little from the hand.
  9. Loved this guy. He was one of my favorites on the best defense the Bills ever fielded in 62 years, and not even close. Teddy Spielman Paup and so on. They were daunting. Too bad we didn’t have an offense even close to complimenting the D.
  10. Yolo, I wouldn’t be surprised if they creatively use Gilliam as a RB, FB, or TE. He’s versatile and no opposing defense knows enough about him to predict how he will be used.
  11. To you’re point this happens as overreaction week whenever let down. You would’ve thought the sky was falling when we’re 4-0 last year and then lose two to the Titans and Chiefs. We are stronger in many ways than we were last year. The next three games should be blowouts and we’ll have a ton of momentum hosting the Colts, playing the Saints (you never which Jameis shows up), and Pats are nothing to be nervous about. Sanders is a vast upgrade over Brown and we are deeper to counter the mess we had last playoffs with all of the WR injuries. Its funny this logic by the OP was also brought up on the extra point show this morning. Dibiasi was polite, but dismissed this notion we have too many weapons.
  12. I’m not concerned. The next somewhat competitive threat and I use loosely is the Colts and then Saints. Knox will be fine and I hope McD does what he tends to do and better to keep him out one more week to make sure he is good down the stretch. Enjoy the rest Knox.
  13. Answer to the question from OP is yes. I know people are frustrated from loss, but the team’s in contention all have tougher schedules than us. KC has a good shot at beating TN this week. Baltimore also has a bunch of tough games ahead. Even Cincy is 4-2 right now and wouldn’t count them out. By the time we get back from the bye, it could be Baltimore 5-2, KC 4-3, TN 4-3, the Bolts are on a bye like is but 4-2. We could definitely benefit from the Pats beating the Bolts next week. I’m not worried about the Raiders 4-2. I don’t see in any works is not beating the Fish, nor the Jags and Jets for that matter. That means we are 7-2 and most likely very much in the hunt for the #1 seed. Just like you’re boss says don’t email anyone when angry as you almost always have to walk it back, nor a loved one as you always make an ass of yourself, don’t post after a tough loss and make a big claim. This whole we are playing a soft schedule is crap. Why? Because we don’t choose our schedule. Just like last year we had the AFC/NFC West, this year we have the South. I’ll take the wins. You guys love bold predictions. Mine is we walk into Tampa Bay (my home and I’ll have my MGK jersey on at the game) 10-2. The Bucs may have the same record, but probably not. Their only two competitive games are the Colts and Saints. The Saints always play them tough. That would be my guess of a possible loss as it’s on Halloween in NO. We’ll see as the Saints are running great and the Bucs have a great running defense. 10-2 vs. 10-2 to 11-1. This will be a hype game like the Chiefs. I hope there are at least 25,000 Bills fans there as we are a 1-3 ratio in the noise factor in that stadium. Go Bills!
  14. JaC, you were right Monday night. I kept thinking and a bunch of you might get mad, but if that were TB12, he would’ve taken what the defense gave him and we’d celebrate a win. With age and success I think Allen will learn it. He had a solid game, but this drive he was pushing it. It’s over now, and maybe behind closed doors Daboll or McD probably pointed this out.
  15. Wow, dejavu. I forgot about 26CB, but I got along with him. I’m normally not one to keep an argument going so maybe that’s why. CB was ok, but man he could get wound up.
  16. Yolo, what I mean is even if he was traded how many days before playing? Will he be immediately placed on exempt list? Would the team be ready? What impact would he have on a team that is disheveled? Last year he had a banner stat year and they won 4 games. They have zero pass rush, their man corners are having to hold forever their WR’s. The impact with Watson will come next year and even more the year after. He’ll make the fins better but not in two weeks. Just my two cents.
  17. There are so many variable in this thing it’s not even worth thinking about. It means nothing for the Halloween game.
  18. Go Riot! Nailed It. I was thinking the same at a quick glance.
  19. The bye is one part, but home field is the critical part. To me it does matter and playing backups is not a bye in week 18. Going into week 18 pretty much #1 is a lock we can still sit or a pitch count with the banged up guys. For me this is a bunch of my TBD friends POed we lost and didn’t measure up to our expectations. It doesn’t mean we won’t rebound.
  20. Dave, I’m with you in that every return is a hold you’re breath for every team its not coming back. The only part I slightly disagree is for me it feels like this has been a pain the ars for many years. You’d think they’d give some latitude as it is one of the most fun parts of the game when a return ensues. It’s to the point I just expect every great return to come back.
  21. ST, first thanks for sharing and I’m sure you’ll update when you know what’s up. I guess one shining light is we have a bye, Fins, Jags, and Jets. McD can take his time with Knox and assess when he is 100%. I’d rather hold him back one extra week, then rush him back. The Colts are a good running team and would optimally be when it would be good to see Knox at a minimum on a patch count. We want him in a groove by the Saints.
  22. I haven’t and I live here bud. We have to be better than last night. We need KC mojo. The Bucs secondary is still suspect. it is not a foregone conclusion we lose to Tampa. I respect them and watch them when they don’t conflict with the Bills. They will be our toughest opponent until the playoffs. Bottom line for me is dinner was great, I’m going to enjoy a nice bowl of raspberry sherbet for a weekly delight and forget about the Bills for a few days. I’ll check in but I won’t be thinking about it like yesterday all day. The players need a mental holiday and I think we do too.
  23. Exactly Kwai. Quick choice guys, no substitutions (I sound like a Chinese restaurant), Wouk Doty rather lose 34-31 to the Titans with all of their talent back and if you want to pin it on a last ditch courageous call by McD, or lose to the Cheats. Blasphemy I say. Destroy the East and anyone else who gets in our way, and give the Bucs every last thing we have and expose hopefully that secondary.
  24. His feet were caught up. Also not a good push combination by Feliciano and Morse. It’s over. Lots of other things should’ve happened to win that game and didn’t. Onto Miami and they should be afraid, very afraid.
