  1. I had to get away from this board for a few days with the sky is falling, but yes of course it’s a big deal. Everyone gets a week off, the Bills coaching staff gets to scout the playoff teams the week before, and homefield throughout. How is that not important? The team can go into a bye with momentum with the starters playing a good portion of the season finale, but the banged up ones get two weeks off. I don’t understand how it’s even brought up as it’s common sense. Every team wants the first seed.
  2. Thank you Miami! Now Buffalo, shake off the rust and kick the Jests arses.
  3. Guys, the team has been a let down recently, and I’m normally mister glass half full, then there is everything else and honestly the negativity has caused me to take a pause from tbd. Just a few days. Let’s hope the jests game is a get right game. im not thinking about the bills until Sunday.
  4. Listen this is like an old girlfriend. When it’s over, it’s over. Never look back ever. Woulda coulda shoulda never helps.
  5. Mac, whoever gets him it’s fools gold. He is not the 2014 guy making one handed catches anymore. He seems to have problems with separation since he’s been on the Brownies.
  6. I placed the Packers and my reason is simple. They don’t normally get in these races, but Rodgers whined so much in the off season they haven’t used a 1st Ed pick in a decade on a WR. They have Adams, but this would be a place I can see and the Packs may be going all out to keep Rodgers. If not I can see the Raiders with losing Ruggs, and the Saints given no one expected them to only have two losses at this point. They are the masters of moving cap around to keep people.
  7. OBJ has been a problem since he entered the league. A high 1st RD pick, very productive at the Giants and they still moved on. Now a team desperate for the playoffs and considering moving on. He’s the problem. I don’t see McBeane wanting any part of adding to their deepest position group. He’d have to do an incentive laden deal (as they have no money) but New Orleans makes a lot of sense. No one thought the Saints would only have two losses at this point.
  8. K Gun, Augsburg can you get you into the White House Press dinner if you give him enough time. EF Hutton listens to him.
  9. I swear Chand, the entire upper deck was a sea of red, white and royal blue in 2017. It was awesome. That’s sad considering that was a home playoff game for them. BTW, I agree Jax is a great city to move from up north. Jax and Tampa are my two favorite cities in FL.
  10. i heard it was closer to 88.8% gugs! (Sarcasm). Chandman, I didn’t know you were a Jax guy. I’ve been to a bunch of those games. Unfortunately I have a meeting in Naples early Monday morning, or would’ve been there. It’s only 4 hrs from Tampa. Have a ball brother with the gang. I remember for the Jags playoff game lot x or z was awesome. I felt like I was in Hammers lot. Went with a buddy who was a Jax fan so had to protect him in the lot.
  11. The Saints have been in cap hell for awhile. I don’t know enough about the guy other than he was a pro bowler, but I trust Beane if he thinks he can get something out of this guy. Having a year off can sometimes be good for a lineman. Its a reasonable thought. I’m normally not in the trade camp as it’s usually Madden talk, but Mongo has been bad this year and I’ve done around to Ford is useless. I was the parent giving Ford too many chances wanting their kid to be a good athlete in a sport, but he just sucks. overall, a solid Guard or DT are the only spots I’d consider as viable spots to look at an upgrade. Not against Star, just a second 1 tech wouldn’t hurt.
  12. Snarky bud, you’re getting caught in the weeds and extrapolating something that’s not there. You’re not the first nor the last. I’ve made this mistake as well. I’ve kind of learned to take a step back look overall if possible and see if what I think I’m seeing is true or am I off. No biggie bud. hooe you had a nice Halloween.
  13. And going into this game Sanders was #1 in air yards caught passes in the NFL. He’s Thirty Freakin Four and #1 in the entire NFL in air yards. More than that schkep in AZ, the Packs (granted he didn’t play Thursday) and so on. I think I’m pretty good with Beane’s choices. There is nothing to see in thinking ES is not a big upgrade to this offense. We will be counting our blessings in February. And for those who want to float as has been done recently (what about that Beasely guy in receptions?). What 10 today for 110 yards. All this means is we improved even more in skilled positions over last year. Line play. There’s an area that I’d still a work in progress with Brown out today. That I understand, but Sanders because he didn’t catch an overthrown ball. Ok chemistry. We’ll Allen is only one of the top NFL QB’s on most stats so that’s not a big issue.
  14. Sherlock, my comments on no to CMAC is not in an injury prone remark, just the team like Earl Campbell, Shawn Alexander, Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson and so on have a shelf life. Now before you rebut buddy with those guys we’re pounders and you’d be right, he’s given so many all purpose touches it’s breaking down his body. That’s not injury prone, that’s simply a body getting beaten down with so many all purpose touches he can’t stay on the field. Historically, once a RB gets beaten up too bad, they fall off fast. Even the great Gale Sayers only made it a handful of years as his knees couldn’t hold up. Derrick Henry was a monster in 2019 and dragged the Titans to the AFCCG on his back but looked precipitously different between the first playoff game and the championship game. Add to that a monster RB contract and no way. Please know a healthy CMAC has been my favorite RB for the last several years, but he may not be what he was two years ago. One other editorial is watch Henry once the Titans get to the playoffs. He’s the king now, but on pace for well over 400 carries. What are the Titans without the threat of Henry? This is one of the main reasons I’m not worried about the Titans in the playoffs. Henry will not be the same on his 19th game. They will win the South and we will win the East so it’s likely we don’t see each other until at least divisional week. The human body even a freak like his are not meant to take that kind of pounding.
  15. I love here in Tampa and they aren’t the best team in the nfc right now. Worry about this in February brother. It could easily be the rams, packs, cards, or even a team I hate in Dallas.
  16. This is the downside of giving a RB this many touches combining rushing and all purpose yards. They break down too young. I love the guy too, but I’m no. Not even close to worth it.
  17. YES! 42-12. Not one TD by the Fins. Ross so p@$$ed, Watson trade happens Monday.
  18. He can get traded to retired status. Moron. The Rams are one of the best teams in the NFC. They are going to give Tampa, AZ, GB, a run for their money for the SB. All of those teams are hot this year.
  19. Beef on Weck is almost more important than wings as you can get good wings outside if Buffalo. I know symbolic though, but real Buffalo is Beef in Weck and Pizza. Abbott and Blasdell Pizza tastes almost exactly the same as Harry (original Blasdell owner took his recipe from Abbott - they were friends). If it was warmer I’d say do the Cave if the Winds under Niagara Falls on American side as you walk underneath some of the falls, and of course maid of the mist. In the fall too cold. You’ll have a great time, and lots of good steakhouses. Tell you’re friends the best part of Buffalo are the people.
  20. With Linemen it’s best to be overly cautious on backs and necks. A lot of guys shorten their career from trying to push through back injuries.
  21. Have a great time. If after a show, take wifey to Little Italy to Ferrarra’s for dessert. She’ll love it. The city is the best place to visit during the holidays. Thins the wallet, but very romantic and fun.
  22. Excellent points for a Chiefs fan that is.. (just kidding our Midwest friend). I agree with you’re notion of expanding the viewership and brand. If asked and certainly no one is lining to up to ask me based on you’re premise, it’s logical they choose London, a Germany location (why because in Europe they are those avid fans just based on NFL Europe and viewership today), Mexico City, and Toronto. All have the population, interest, revenue potential, and logistically could work. If London and say Berlin worked, their 20 year plan would probably be to secure another two Europe locations and possibly another Canadien location. I just don’t see the NFL expanding in these secondary markets like San Antonio, Portland and so on.
