  1. You guys care way too much about what they say. He’s not the best, but I remember how much my dad hated Dierdorf back in the day. I’ll admit it does seem like he has an anti bills sentiment. My answer to that is great, let’s keep beating the crap out of teams to make him eat his words. my answer to the pats game is crush them, and everyone who was the pats are the greatest can look stupid. My coaches always taught me to demolish you’re opponent (never take the foot off the throat) and no one will argue who is better. That’s why I don’t care if we lose 40+ to 15 to the Colts as we deserved to lose. We weren’t ready, we weren’t prepared, and we deserved everything we received. Now destroy the Pats and shut up the morons on ESPN. OH YEAH, THEN BEAT THE Bucs and everyone will shut up. not crying about announcers or refs. Just destroy you’re opponent. Be better, fight harder, finish every damn play and we win. That’s something for me to be proud of and I’m holding to the Bills 9-4 in two weeks. Oh yeah I live in Tampa and they are my second team, but the operant word is SECOND.
  2. BT, I don’t worry about rain or snow as Josh has okayed in the most difficult conditions, but our significant adv. is the pass. Mac will not have JA’s arm. Wind is my concern. If it remains in the 20’s mph range for wind, that is fine, but if escalating to the 40’s which is hard for any QB, then advantage Patriots. Their massive O Line, and very productive running game will trump our team. So my early Xmas present would be low mph winds. I don’t care about anything else.
  3. Virg. Says? That was COOL! Go get em Rock! Eye of the Tiger!
  4. If you don’t want to contribute, don’t contribute. It’s a personal choice. It seems like there are a lot of go fund me charitable drives, but that doesn’t mean you have to participate. Why complain about it?
  5. You guys really get wrapped around the axle in stats. I don’t disagree JA was better last year, but still is very good this year. For me, he’s our franchise QB and will be leading this team for the next decade and longer.
  6. From my POV, either team can win. We have to play disciplined ball as we have the more talented team, but the less disciplined team. Our defense even without Tre can contain their team if, and a big if we have an answer for their run game. We have the more talented WR’s and TE in Knox (Henry’s ok, but Smith has not delivered this year), they have the more talented O Line and RB’s, and by far Allen is superior to the rook. Its not inconceivable we sweep them, but more likely we split. I think we’ll win the first one and will table judgment to see how we play Tampa.
  7. It’s not just running, but any back used that much is bound to wear down. People thought Henry was invincible. These RB’s who are overused as this isn’t 1975, are going to get beat up. CM is a heck of a player, and he’s not injury prone. They just relied on him for everything. Ive talked to his dad on NFLR, and always complimented him on his son. I’m sorry as if just used maybe 30% less, he probably wouldn’t be out this often.
  8. We absolutely need all of the knuckleheads back (Feliciano, Brown, and Star). We need to have our biggest guys out there on defense to shut down their running game. This game concerns me more now that there are multiple examples of grinding teams ramming it down our throats. TN was a little deceiving as so many of Henry’s yards were on one play. Prior to that play we were shutting down Henry. One has to hope the entire national media basically calling us cream puffs on a minute by minute basis has to piss off enough of our lines. I’d love to see us use Gilliam and either Breida or Singletary with some heavy 21 personnel (I consider Gilliam more of a FB then a TE). Force Belichick to bring some guys forward on their defense. Diggs needs to repeat his big day last year in the second Bills/Pats game. How much fun would it be to totally embarrass the Pats on the National stage. OMG, the Nick Wrong’s of the world’s heads would explode.
  9. Weo singing. 😜 The Tre loss is not something we will easily recover, but there is little anyone can do anything about it. It’s not like there is some all pro CB sitting there on the street. Dane will have to step up. We know our defense was built from the back forward, and we are meant to keep everything in front of us. It’s not like our front four are world beaters. I’ve always had a sense of pride between Tre, Dr. Jeckle and Mr. Hyde that we had one of the best secondaries in the league (even with Wallace as he’s picked on way too much). I also see Taron as a crack nickel corner. We looked a lot different last year when Tre was out fir the TN game last year. So most of you know me and I’d like to think I’m relatively positive about the Bills or at least pragmatic, but this one will affect our game Mgmt for the rest of the year.
  10. I kind of tune out the refs are terrible thing. It just becomes noise after awhile, and every fan base thinks their team was jobbed at almost every game. I know that’s a bit salty, but I’ve heard down here in Tampa every week the Bucs lose it was all the refs fault or it’s injuries.
  11. Herd, I like you’re wins and read the article. I don’t see the Pitt./Cincy game as that important. I don’t think either are going very far if at all in the playoffs. The argument to want TN to win is logical to me. I’d rather see another divisional loss moreso than a TN loss. The Pats do look better at this point than TN. The only risk is TN gets the bye, and Henry comes back. I’m still more concerned more with playing in Foxborough in January more than TN. I’ve heard the argument about more TN fans in the playoffs than during the regular season. I don’t buy it. I was at that Jax playoff game and the entire upper deck was solid red, white, and royal blue. Hap., to answer you’re question, I don’t see why not leave it like you started as one thread following the AFC playoff implications today. That’s just my two cents. Whatever the guys want. It is so nice though having a day off from the Bills with a W, and just enjoy the games.
  12. Bottom line is we are not as good as we thought (including me). I have no expectations for the rest of the year. I hope we win thksgvg night, but I don’t expect it. Then again I never thought the Texans would beat the titans.
  13. So do you think McD’s speech will sound anything like this. God help them! GO BILLS!!!!!!
  14. Sucks they blew them out. The Pats have a solid defense, and you can always count on the Falcons to screw things up. They have a running game and they are giving Mack safe throws to big targets. this will be cleared up in a couple of weeks. I don’t think that game(s) will be pushovers, but I’m not initimidated by them either.
  15. I hope we seen him more. If Bease’s ribs are slowing him down, why not sit him and use the hell out of GD. That’s the point of having a deep WR group. Allow Bease to get to 100% as we’ll need him down the stretch. You never know who might get dinged up and will need Bease back in two weeks.
  16. It’s sad I’ve become so superstitious each week I open this thread (thanks as always shady) and make a please no blue pants prayer.
  17. Virg. I think it’s a mistake to leave him early. I was hoping he could wrap up his contract. We’ll see.
  18. A simple short answer is Allen is too predicate let (Daboll and really McD’s fault) as he tends to be under center for predominantly run plays and it’s too easy to figure us out. Allen is more than capable of running this offense under center and can create more questioning of what we will do. I believe McD in that I think he’s had enough of what Daboll has done and knows how defenses are playing us. I can see us making some changes this week and the Jets are a good team to make those changes. Life gets a little harder against the Colts and so on with the Saints.
  19. Or made the NFL the most lucrative in sports in history, or taken over for the nightmare of the CTE scandal that Tags was all too happy to let Goodell clean up his mess, and so on. Goodell is not exactly warm and fuzzy, but he works for the owners, not us and has made them achieve their #1 goal, make a profit (you know like every other corporation on the world). Gruden may be right he was selectively targeted, but none of us know how this stuff came out. For all we know it could be someone in the FBI as they were leading this investigation. im sure there are a lot of bad guys not outed to date, and maybe they will never know. I am not a fan of Gruden at all, but people had to see these claims coming.
  20. Happy Birthday! Tell that guy he’s better serve you breakfast in bed and pamper you all weekend.
