  1. I’ll wait to see the matchups for next week, so for wildcard weekend, here you go. Bengals / Raiders: Bengals by 6. Bills / Pats: Bills by 14. Bucs / Eagles: Bucs by 10. Chiefs / Steelers: Chiefs by 14. Cowboys / Niners: Niners by 6 as my upset special. Rams / Cardinals: Rams by 7. I hope my middle son doesn’t read this as he’s loved the Cardinals since he was a Cardinal in flag football when he was 7. He met Larry Fitz as he rented a home in our neighborhood for the SB. We were in a gated community and Larry wanted it peaceful and quiet. He did let us bring all the boys from our small neighborhood to meet him once and he took pics and signed the kids t-shirts. A really nice guy. The dads then policed the neighborhood leaving him alone the rest of the week.
  2. Or my fraternity at Oswego was more like this…
  3. Offense - Diggs and Knox. Defense - Dr. Poyer and Mr. Hyde. Can you say safety blitz The best part is Allen is going to go off and get up by three TD’s, so they can’t run, and have to play from behind. This is going to be one of the most playoff games we’ve been in for a long time.
  4. This doesn’t surprise me at all. I can understand Tua’s frustration with the Watson rumors, but that should’ve made him work harder, not go golfing.
  5. Well said Shady. I make no apologies I’m a,so a Bucs fan as I’ve lived down here now longer than growing up in Buffalo. It doesn’t mean every four years, the Bills always comes first. So what’s wrong with liking an AFC and an NFC team. It is odd to this day me rooting for Brady, but I’ve learned to like him down here. He seems more himself down here. So if Kyle is a Bears fan too, good for him.
  6. Some of you guys will complain about anything. He’s having fun and most people love it. He’s the next generation Boomer unapologetic Bills fan. Good for him.
  7. I loved it. He is Boomer 2.0. Love the guy. I don’t know how you can be critical of him with his fandom.
  8. FWIW, he sets the edge well, and is good against the run. He won’t get probably even 1 sack in the playoffs, but he may hold up well against the run, and we need that piece. Way to go Beane. Now let’s kick their cheating arses.
  9. Yeah, but the point is it would be funnier than hell. Painful to watch, but funny. Set the ball at the 50 and not even punt, just keep taking the knee.
  10. Agreed GB. We do have GD, and IM added to Diggs. I think we use more of them tomorrow as Sanders and Beasely can keep healing up. I doubt they’ll be here next year, so along with WR, TE, and more importantly Guards are important. We can do some damage in the playoffs if all these guys are healthy down the stretch. I know we need to win tomorrow, but being healthy for most likely the Cheats week 1 will be important. Beat them by 20 and we can say the first meeting was the wind. Any other given week, we dominate the Pats. I hope McD keeps play calling aggressive like he did in Foxborough. By far our best game with KC a close second.
  11. House this was excellent. I love the cut up tape. TY for sharing.
  12. It’s possible we elevate him for this week to keep Singletary’s legs fresh for the playoffs, but seriously doubt he plays in any meaningful games. I’d love to be wrong and he’s better than the coaches think. We saw him in one game where Miami was running for the buses. The Jets will be interesting. They put everything they had to beat the Bucs and almost did it. They may be spent and just want the season over. You know we’re going to rest whoever is banged up. I do think we play to win though, vs. just sitting as many as possible.
  13. Just remember in our game, Henry was running under 3 yards a carry until the big run. In the past couple of years we held him to 80+ in one game and 50+ in another. The Bills aren’t horrible against the Titans. KC is the team that concerns me as they are not the same team we beat in October.
  14. Downtown would be so expensive which gets passed to the customer. It would take forever with extra events to recoup the expense of a dome. The infrastructure required for downtown would dwarf the costs of the actual stadium. Tailgating would suck downtown. We have something special in OP. I’m not a season ticket holder as I don’t live in Buff anymore, and probably won’t. A compromise that makes a lot of sense is a stadium like Seattle. I believe they have a tarp like overhang structure that covers pretty much most of the seats. That would dramatically drop the winds that seems to be a pain lately, and keep from the majority if rain and snow. They could also have heating lamps to keep people warm in November and December. Lastly, they could have heat below the grass as the technology has advanced since the Icebowl, and keep the grass from freezing. That my two cents.
  15. I hope it’s the Pats and we commandingly win. If we don’t have ridiculous winds, we’ll be fine as we are the better team. Mac can’t compete with JA17. Besides, how much fun would the pundits have with te,ling us the whole chess vs. checkers crap with BB, and then we beat them by 20+. That would be a great start to the playoffs. I think Sal is right on WGR. We are more likely to beat the Pats, face the Titans in TN, and we can win there, and end up in the same spot at KC. We have the monkey off our back already beating them before, so we just have to play our best game to beat them again. It’s what winners do. That will be more of our SB than anything. I’m not afraid of any NFC team. We took the SB champs to overtime, and a couple of crap penalty/non penalties and we win that game.
  16. I’ll pay attention to this stuff in March.
  17. Allen won’t win MVP, but does it really matter. I just don’t see the fascination with power rankings, mvp, pro bowl, etc. win the darn SB. That is the only thing that matters. Allen has had another excellent year, but as someone else stated, he’s not a robot. Even franchise QB’s have good and bad days. Remember Brady at his peak threw 4 INT’s against us when we won with Fitzy. Brady had a bad day. He’s still the GOAT.
  18. NOW GET OFF MY LAWN! Mornin Chandman. Ready to stomp on some birds today? Love when he says “Alright boys, let’s kick their arses”. Such a great motivator.
  19. I reserve these conversations until after we are out if the race. I’d love to read more in each of you’re thoughts in February. We are going to never ending Lu discuss during FA, and the draft. For me it’s all about ATL tomorrow.
  20. Happy New Year from Tampa guys! Let’s hope we get our resolution to win that ring in two months.
  21. The Turkster, you know I like you’re takes often, but no. McD is not sabotaging his line with thinking he needs to keep Bates in the back pocket. If he thinks he’s the best fit, hes in. I’ll agree, miss was not a better go to than Singletary as our feature back. Bates should see some time the rest of the year. Ford is not going in if these guys can keep that from happening. My WAG, is it’s Dawkins, Feliciano, Morse, Williams, and Brown. Bates is shot in at a heart beat if there is a problem. If anyone has some nagging injuries and we are getting up on an opponent the next two weeks, Bates could go in at any of the five positions. Knew you were a SW FL guy when posting this song. Reminds me of the newer Star Trek movies as was in two of them. Lovin the old Beastie Boys.
  22. Wouldn’t it be just so beautiful if they get their hopes up again by beating the Jags, and then the Fish crush them in the finale to keep them from making the playoffs. Just too much of a sweet ending to their season.
