  1. Bill we moved up in the 1st round, and took a 6th RD pick in the draft. We took Dane last year, traded back to get Tre in 2017. Huh? not picking on you, but yes we did. Now we have to see it play out. That’s the crappy thing about drafts as you don’t know for at least two years of you made the right pics.
  2. Stank the voting already happened. The results come out I think this weekend. Remember as you know as you’re a vet, it’s just a player popularity contest. That’s all. For me All Pros and MVP, OPOY, and DPOY, ROY, are significant compliments and have substance. The rest is just well?
  3. Barley, good points. The flip side is we should have Dane, Taron, Poyer, and Hyde. The wildcard is simply Elam or Bedford and Elam will probably get it. The Rams are a test, but to you’re point are the Titans and Ravens really a test. Until Tua proves hes for real even with Hill, I am reserved in judgment they are a threat. KC is our first real threat. That’s why that week is critical. To you’re point Bear, we’ve been a top 3 pass defense for almost five years. It’s our run defense that has been mediocre, and Beane improved that in the middle and outside.
  4. The sky isn’t falling. Our Safeties were just named 1st and 2nd team all pros, have one of the best Nickel CB’s in the league, and reports of Tre’s demise are largely over reported. He may be out a few games, but we didn’t have him for the last four games of last year nor the playoffs. Dane did just fine. Bedford and Elam will be fine. We don’t face KC until week 6. The Ravens were the 32nd rated passing offense last year, and we upgraded our run defense with Settle, Jones, and Phillips. Oh and we have this wrecking crew of a DE named Von. I know we hoped Tre would be there for the opener, but hope is not lost.
  5. Peaches and Cream, exactly. We are not going to the K Gun offense. It’s too predictable now, we don’t have a team constructed like that and if you don’t get the 1st down, you wear out you’re defense in a heartbeat. The boring answer is we will look a lot like last year, but now we have a pass catching RB, a traditional between the tackles RB, and an upgrade in our WRs as Davis is younger with t break down like Sanders, and McKenzie is a ton healthier than Beasely. It will be a fun year, and we’ll be happy.
  6. It’s innocent til proven guilty, but god I hope there is nothing to this one. If so, it would be disgusting and no apologies for him. Im praying this is a shakedown, not real as it’s impossible to forgive what’s being claimed. I’ll wait and see.
  7. Happy for Haack. I think they tried to help him by how they handled the situation. He seems like a nice guy, and an avg punter.
  8. We’ll find out at the trade deadline most likely.
  9. It’s CBS, what can you expect?
  10. Don’t be so hard on Howard. His schtick gets a little old at times with the diet, the memory loss, etc., but overall seems to be a decent guy. Jeremy usually has more information and does more research on topics. It won’t be Sal though. He already does his early morning 20 minutes, the extra point show, it always football bla bla podcast with Bove, and all the articles he writes. The move is more likely Joe Dibiasi making it permanent at the 6 am and extra point show so I hope you guys like him as he’s now on from 6am to Noon. Joe seems ok, but 6 hours is a lot. At least he does do his hw. On Bills topics. You know Howard I think just turned 60. I don’t blame a guy for wanting to go part time after all these years. Hes a heck of a lot better than those tools in The afternoon. Trust me these guys are better on the Bills than someone of the goofballs on the local Tampa sports radio show.
  11. Copy Goat. Thanks for clarifying. I think I need another 5hr. Energy.
  12. Goat, I think it’s 2022 All AFCE Preseason so it kind of doesn’t make sense since Ariaza made that 82 yard punt.
  13. He does? My typical answer for that Baffoon. Nothing against you Rico. Int even watch him on ESPN less the amazing fat race.
  14. The latest guesstimates, but who knows of these pundits are right. I think it was Brandt who posited the cap should hit $226 mil. or so in 23, and $256 mil. In 24. 2024 will be the first year the cap gets back on track with its original trajectory of adding about $8 mil/yr. if we never had the pandemic. Listen I’d love to extend Poyer for two years at $11 mil., but with these recent astronomical contracts, he’s not going to accept it. He’ll want on his last contract to cash in on his 1st team all pro status. We have Hyde through the end of 2023, and then he’ll be 34. My opinion is we are going to extend the guys I mentioned above is Knox, Oliver, and Davis. Motor will have to accept an economical deal as RB’s doesn’t make that kind of money anymore. Ask Dallas and NYG if they’d want to move on from those contracts for Zeke and Barkley.
  15. Bedecking is a better fit than even OBJ. OBJ won’t be ready until December. Gesecki is a nightmare with Knox for the 12 personnel option. Just my opinion. We really don’t need anyone else if Tre’s back in a reasonable timeframe.
  16. As much as I’d love the idea of OBJ, if we had this guy to have a significant 12 personnnel and drop the Howard option would be great. The nice thing is TE’s as weapons cost a lot less than WRs.
  17. I love this thread as the fantasies of watching be destroyed this year just warms my heart. I hope we beat them by 40 both times, and McD keeps the starters in to the end driving up the score. Screw the cheats!
  18. Im so sorry. He was always all Bills all the time. Treasure these games with him, and take videos. Trust me it only lasts so long, but you can fondly look back on those beautiful memories. Every time my sons come over the house as divorced and all three in college they always look at the pics in my place. They always remind me of things I forgot.
  19. Agreed. They don’t want to lose Knox. Next year Oliver, and Gabe probably. Poyer might be getting the short straw and I hate it as his play hasn’t declined even slightly, but we can’t pay some of these stupid contracts like what has come out lately. Singletary is gone or accepts a modest contract, and Bernard has a red shirt year, but will back up Edmunds. Its good business. These WR contracts lately have been ridiculous. I really hope we can retain Gabe, but that’s for another day.
  20. Tuesday, you just gave me a belly laugh. That movie was so stupid, but so darn funny. I have to admit, I love some of that stupid humor like Mike Myers, Adam Sandler, and Jim Carry. Besides he loves Buffalo. He even made that God movie set in Buffalo. A real man admits a mistake. I certainly make enough of them. We’ll done my Colorado friend. Stay thirsty my friend.
  21. I’m wondering if Doyle is making it on the 53. He is a “giving it his all” kind of guy. It will be fun seeing what the depth looks like this weekend.
  22. Is that how you got that nasty limp and sarcastic attitude? 🤩. All love House. Jon, I’m truly happy for you brother. I remember the first TD both of my boys scored as I was their coach. I coached both of them on separate teams in flag and tackle. Then as a sick joke by God, both of them fell in love with Lax. I couldn’t coach them as I still after all these years don’t understand the rules. I’m just kidding. They loved it and there is no greater pride a Dad has then watching his play any sport and enjoy it. My oldest had a full ride in college for Lax, but had his 5th concussion (all of them from Lax, none from football) and he asked me what he should do. I said Ian, what do you think is the wise thing to do. He just thanked me for not telling him what to do. I just responded, Ian you already knew what to do and you’re 18. That means you’re a young man. You have to make those choices now. He gave up the scholarship and came back to FL and is graduating with his finance degree, and has his real estate license, and public adjuster certificate at 22. Jon, you’re in for a lot of celebrations and a lot of heartbreaking losses. You’re not will be better for dealing with both. Thanks for sharing pal. Now let’s beat the crap out of the Rams!!!! Go Bills! I can’t remember r who used to always write 20-0 baby!
  23. That’s not far off most competitive athletes. I remember when I was wrestling as a youth or as a national level powerlifter into my 30’s, I’d like to think I’m a nice guy to my fellow man, but when you get on the mat, it’s my job to put my opponent down and pin his ars. I’d always help to guy up after and be humble. The great ones k ow how to turn on a switch. I’m not putting myself in The great category, but I’d put Josh there. To think we may be watching our next HOF Bill in the making is just remarkable.
  24. I’ve never loved a Bills QB more than Allen. He’s finally surpassed Kelly in my fandom. To think he will be our guy for another 13-15 years. How lucky are us Bills fans to get to enjoy him and the gang. As long as we have a healthy Allen, we wi be in the hunt every year.
  25. Some great memories of Insode the NFL in the 80’s. I’m not old enough to ever see him play. I hope he passed peacefully.
