I can’t remember the name of the guest who was on with Joe on the extra point show, but he made good points that Howard is a better blocker than Sweeney and is why we brought him in here as well as a big and tough red zone target. Morris went down today with a hammy, so we’ll see. He is much closer to Knox then the others. Sweeney is most likely a cut, if a little serious Morris to PUP, and it’s Knox and Howard. Howard may not have the explosiveness he had at Alabama, but if he can be what I described above, he can help. Sweeney is useless. A nice guy, but looked horrible when he had to step up last year. It’s a player popularity contest. We know it’s silly, but the vote happened at thanksgiving. What I don’t understand is why they don’t conduct the vote the last week of the season. I say that as all the players are still in their buildings, and the day after the season, the non playoff teams take off. It would make it harder to conduct the vote. Thanks Jag. To give an example, if Cook was driving a BMW in Hamburg, and was shot in a robbery, I would be surprised. Not that there is no crime in Hamburg, but a lot less likely than another area. I will say a prayer for the guy. It’s not a great way to start you’re NFL career.
