  1. There is value to keep drafting RB’s as they are cheap hires for four to five years. The 1st RD pick needs to be a high revenue pick like DE, DT, CB, WR, and of course QB. That 5th year option is valuable. I wouldn’t agree with a RB, in the 1st. It doesn’t make sense. CB or WR makes a lot of sense when our salaries will start to balloon. Now the cap will exponentially go up, but to think we can’t find another RB in the 3rd or 4th, and vol heartedly use them up for four years and not sign the second contract is not good business. I expect we take a RB mid rounds almost every year.
  2. I’ve not read that part. Thank you for sharing. The hernia is nothing to me. What you describe of serious would be a concern.
  3. The question of what if Booth’s injury is worse than thought is unlikely. Hernias heal just fine. I had one and it was a severe tear. That doesn’t detract me at all from wanting Booth. Could he maybe need until October to be 100%? Maybe, but we’re not drafting for day 1 ability.
  4. I’ve been told that by loved ones. I call it selective hearing.
  5. Anyone still worried when he scramble every so often? Hes sliding a lot more now, and if memory serves, all of his injuries over the last four years were in the pocket. He can handle the occasional scramble. Again he’s much better at sliding now than in 18.
  6. Every time I see you’re posts I always reach back to my youth watching this movie and even the rerun tv episode of it. For you buddy. BTW- spot on with Maddy. She’s good for fluff pieces for a few minutes on OBL. Anything more and I want to vomit.
  7. Samuel doesn’t really have much negotiating power so he’ll eventually have to either sit out which he’ll be fined daily, and will have to get back to work by week 10. Lynch has been on record he’s not entertaining trade offers why would you blame him. The 49ers have been deep in the playoffs for two of the last three years. What motivation would they have with one of their best weapons. This is much adou about nothing.
  8. I was just in high level meetings and heard… Let me float something… Mods if this topic is already in another thread…. Seriously, this a no brained in that he has steadily improved for three years and the more talent around him will result in steadily improved play this year. Between Settle or Jackson next to him internally, and Von and Rousseau on the outside will make him penetrate even more collapsing pockets.
  9. Thanks as always Happy. Most of this info. Has been reported, discussed these topics on NFLR and NFLN.
  10. Seriously doubt it to you’re question. Depending upon when we draft a CB, we’ll probably make some offers on one of the older guys, and Beane finds a way to maneuver money around for a vet minimum prove it rental.
  11. Offense- Bo Jackson Defense- LT No explanations should be needed for these amazing athletes.
  12. IDK, nor do I care to read through all four pages so I spot checked it, and I’m genuinely sorry she’s leaving she balances the guys out. It’s too bad as that was the one NFL football program I liked at times. I never found her to be anti Bills or Allen. it’s not about how hot she is on the show, but I found her on topics of fantasy etc., to be interesting and informative. I enjoy of a woman NFL reporter or host is well educated and does some hw. Prior to shows. That would be unlike the ESPN arsclowns who neverendingly trying for the latest hot take that some knuckelheads feel compelled to keep sharing. Don’t care.
  13. Dude, you’re kidding right? There have been like 20 threads and parts of threads on him. Go do the search button. Type in. edmunds and you’re going to feel silly as this exact topic has been talked to death, been on WGR, NFLR, NFLN, etc.
  14. Nuccman, lots of TE’s are in this decade of TE’s lined up outside to spread out defenses. They do that to Kelce all the time as well as others, but they still are TE’s. WR’s have a different skill sets, than pass catching TE’s. There’s just no way around that point. It was the old days where TE’s were in line blockers. Now they have to do it all. If the team designates them as a TE, they are a TE.
  15. They are still TE’s just as Pitts, Gronk, Brate, Waller and Knox. If they were WR’s they would paid as such. They are not. Jimmy Graham and others have appealed to the NFL several times to pay them on the tag as WR’s, and the NFL has responded with a hard no. What Knox does for us vs. Diggs is different. Different skill sets, speed, adept at route running, etc. So Waller will end up wherever he goes to the Raiders or somewhere else a top TE income, not WR $.
  16. Era, if you have the time to research arm length In recent history for outside CB’s, god bless ya.
  17. So which one is Belichick? This is much ado about nothing. Belichick is a good coach, but a terrible GM. The longer he gets away from Brady, the worse he looks.
  18. Slot WR? He’s a pass catching TE. He’s fantastic, but not practical. The draft is TR. We’ll know a lot more by Sunday.
  19. Well, we don’t need a LT, or RT, so hopefully some knucklehead doesn’t say “hey, let’s bring him in”.
  20. I’ve seen GMFB, often enough and I don’t know why people have such an issue with Kay. She’s cute, knows football and I don’t have a bias against women NFL analysts. I’ve not heard anything glaring against the Bills. If you want to talk about Chris Collinsworth, ok or Dan Dierdorf back in the 90’s who was clearly against the Kelly Bills, ok.
  21. I think it’s great. He was a supporter On a national stage on the best nfl tv show since 2019. He and Schein, and eventually Cowherd have been behind Allen forever. Others are just catching up.
  22. NP 4 squared. It’s hard sometimes on these threads to know when someone is sincere and when they are kidding. Theres no doubt Samuel is a very good player. He wants a big contract and we just don’t have the resources. If anything I believe we need to balance out cheap labor in high paying positions. That’s why I’m confident we will go CB, and then WR. After who knows as it just depends on the talent available when we get to the third and beyond.
  23. Can we stop with the drought threads and how many stupid decisions we made as a team, Mgmt, coaching and ownership? We all know we sucked, made a Million stupid decisions and is a nightmare that a handful of posters want to keep reliving over and over again. I’d rather focus on what we’re doing right now, and the hopefulness of having a bright future probably for the next decade or more. Allen isn’t going anywhere, nor is Beane or McD. The Pegulas seem to stay out of their way and we have a stadium planned that will keep us in Buffalo for the next 20 years and beyond.
