  1. Thanks for you’re neverending fun quotes. Tre will be fine. An ACL is not the same as the repairs are light years ahead of even 5 years ago and even better from 10 years ago. AP came back in 6 months and had banner years. He played until late 30’s. Besides not every ACL is the same. He’s on pace per McD and that guy will 10 years from now be a HOF coach. Not now as too short, but he’ll hook his wagon for at least the 12-15 years to Allen. You have a great GM, and a great QB, and you become a winner. McBeane will be a winning tandem for a decade. These guys will be the next Tomlinson and company crew. I’ve always respected the Steelers culture, and believe the Pegulas know how to stay out of the way and even though politicians hate it, (NYC Democrats) have secured our franchise here for the next 30 years. What more can you ask for in a team. Let’s not forget this team has the state of the art training facility and staff as they value health and why we don’t have a lot of soft tissue injuries like many teams. We are so very fortunate. Lastly, Tre has been here per Sal and Vic almost all off season with the staff as he knows his best rehab is with our guys. He’ll be fine. He may have an adjustment in September, but by October he’ll be back to form. He injured last November. By October, that will be 11 months. Guys stop with the overthinking and over worrying. Stop looking for everything that will go wrong to be right and have faith. Wrex and Maroone are not our coaches. Neither is Skeletor, or Kay Stephenson.
  2. Beast, the Bills have beaten the Phish by an avg. of 18 pts per game for the last four years. Do I hear five? Yes, the Pfish improved so we’ll have To settle with a 13 pt win per game this year! McD is the best coach we’ve had since Levy. You’re only critical as you’re not a Bills fan. He’s third all time as until we win the SB he has to be behind Saban as he won us two AFL championships. He also came back and improved the team agin briefly in the 70’s. Now that’s before my time, but I listen to guys like Chandler and Old Time Fan. They are a wealth of info on the 60’s teams. Knox would be 4th and Phillips 5th. We’ll sweep the East again unless there is another 50 mile an hour wind game. Doubtful in OP in January. The Jets have improved, but they most likely will be 0-6 as they have a tough beginning to their schedule unless Watson is suspended and maybe have a chance as they won’t keep Mayfield. The cheats will die a miserable death for the next three years and cement the fact that Brady made the Cheats, not the other way around. Sal was awesome manually counting up wins and losses without Brady. 71-79 including the Browns. One of the Browns years he did finish I believe 11-5.
  3. You’re delusional. You seem to always look for a flaw in the Bills. Con Miller is going to sack Tua three times on the first matchup. I guess maybe we’re confident (you know the real Bills fans) because we are 8-0 against the Fish and jests since JA17 Superalleb started and 4-1 in the last two years with the Cheats. They needed 50 mile an hour winds to beat us. We destroyed them twice afterwards. We are also ranked #1 to win the SB by every professional analyst on the planet. Even the Boston media is concerned we are going to kill them and they are much better coaches than the Fish. For us 50 and older have never forgotten how the Fish beat us 20 times in the 70’s and anyone of that age remembers the win by Coach Knox in 1980.
  4. I know. Tahmy. Makes me sick to my stomach. Thank god we have the extra point show now so we don’t need to listen to that tool.
  5. Weiss is the worst. It’s not even close. Arrogant, not funny, and just an overall prick. Especially to callers.
  6. I started this dialogue for discussion. I think if you have Sirius and listen you’ll enjoy some of the topic. I’ll add as the NFC posts. I don’t disagree after listening to all four shows of the AFC once they explained their findings.
  7. Gugs, it is the first thing Indo when I fly up to Buffalo. Usually my cousin IR one if my sisters pick me up from the airport, and there is a four pack of beef and cheese burritos hot of course from Mighty. Then before I even make it home I’ve already called in from the airport (I stay along with the kids at my dad’s place in a Hamburg right by Immaculata). Blasdell pizza subs. Lots of sauce and well done. Their pepperoni is out if this world. Gugs is we ever sync up for a September game, the pizza is on me after. You get the OV. Add and L and an E, and that’s love, love OV. Do you remember that jingle from the 80’s. I’ve had many a foggy night at Mulligans Brick Bar with those OV cases laced with ice in the box for the splits. Now that’s a fond memory, although blurry from college.
  8. Good Questions and philosophically I agree with you 100%. I played and coached football for my sons. First at flag which was a blast as we were in a highly competitive league, and then at youth tackle ball. Good blocking WR’s are a must when you run the ball. My comments were just regarding the analysis show. I do always appreciate you’re POV.
  9. Bart IDK why I remember as it was a high school and early college job before I worked at the BN was Blasdell Pizze used to fry the jumbo wings for 11-12 minutes depending on how well done the customer wanted. I don’t remember the temperature. They were good even though I always preferred their pizza over the wings. Delivering pizza as a kid was a fun job.
  10. Ethan, I respect you’re opinion, but although each 11 man unit works together, the only way for them to evaluate is to. Break it down by position group. You’ll hear the NFC this week and then the next unit etc. Typically they wrap up by group as each unit has different criteria, and then start with defense up front, and moving back. I highly encourage everyone who has Sirius to listen when time or just get the app and skill segments until they break down each team. They really do use the same statistical analysis for every player and team so it is far more educated and we’ll thought out than the stupid hot takes on ESPN. It’s the reason I listen to them as they provide value, not off the cuff opinions. As I said in the original post, many of you just for getting a newer car end up with a trial of Sirius. This is the one show that is a must listen, in addition to Polish does a Wednesday night Late Hits show from 7-10 EST. No, I don’t work for Sirius, I just find some of their shows are far more educated and fair balanced than many on TV.
  11. Hey thanks Paul. I’ll take you’re word for it if you can remember the other ratings as I’m going to add to my original post. I knew they would rate the Chiefs higher than us.
  12. Baltimore has a lot of people coming back off injuries and even with the injuries they were still in the race until Lamar was injured. I’d also add KC even without Hill, and Cincy we’ll see if there a flash in the pan or for real. They upgraded their O line. Im not concerned with anyone in the AFCE. It’s too early to tell with Denver, but they had a defense and with Wilson it wouldn’t surprise me. I do think the West is going to beat each other up. As much as I like and respect Herbert, they never seem to go anywhere.
  13. 78 so far out of 3 of the & divisions, we are in the leader board. I couldn’t agree more. It gets you by these analyses shows during the boring season. My guess is we end up 4th or something in that neighborhood.
  14. Hey Guys: I found this topic interesting. The Movin the Chains guys are taking a division a day and rating the offensive lines across the league. Now they put in so much analysis on additions, substitutions, losses, number of snaps, sacks all allowed, penalties, continuity, and depth (they had so many categories I may have missed some so for the guys who listen to this show live or on demand, feel free to add any categories Mills and Pat chose). This is not my list, nor am I asking you you’re personal choices to add, but feel free to chine in however you like. They do this 20 pt. analysis and assign a rating based on the data above. I find it interesting, and once they get done with the line, they move onto every other position group. In previous years, our line was 10th, DB’s 2nd, QB’s 2nd, etc. Ok, I’ll put down what I wrote, but I didn’t have the opportunity to listen Friday as that was the AFCW, so I only have the first three so far. They haven’t touched the NFC yet, so that should be this week. (out of a perfect score of 20) AFCE - Monday Bills 17 - note they included data from Saffold and others coming from another team. Pats 11 Jets 11 Phins 10 AFCN - Tuesday Ravens 14, but if injuries improve could move up to 16-17 Bengals 13 due to their additions and deletions. Please not they evaluate a players last year data even if on another team. Steelers 13 Browns 16 AFCS - Thursday Texans 15 Indy 16 Jax 14 TN 13 AFCW Chiefs 19 - tops in the AFC. Chargers 14 Broncos 16 Raiders 15 NFCE Cowboys 16 Giants 14 Eagles 18 Commanders 16 NFCN Bears 10 Lions 17 Packers 14 Vikings 16 NFCS ATL CAR New Orleans Tampa NFCW AZ 14 Rams 13 49ers 14, but 16 if Mac doesn’t retire Seattle 13 So the Bills are now tied for 3rd in the rankings with only two divisions left. On deck today and tomorrow is the NFCS and NFCW. We should be a top 5 O Line. So for everyone who nonstop trashes our O Line, statistically with more data I can ever look up is a very good rating. AFCW was Friday, but the on demand is not loaded into the App yet. I will add to this list as they are done each day. If they are the same in order from last year, they move onto QB’s next historically, then WR’s TE’s and RB’s. They they start on the defense. Each group is evaluated based on their jobs so they define each category and analysis each day so people can follow along. All of these shows are maintained on on demand section on app for a few days so I think they’ve kept all of them since Monday. Note, Wed. Mills was off so they don’t do a rating day when both Mills and Pat aren’t there. Enjoy listening to them directly, and don’t take my word for it. I hope you like the topic. They know the Bills will be a top 10 Line, but they force ranks 1-5 and we won’t know until they get through the whole league whether they consider us a top 5 line. They were very complimentary of the continuity of Buffalo. They also state who the coaches are meaning our line coach and asst line coach. Enjoy and welcome feedback. If you have Sirius, you’d enjoy this more if you listened to the shows. You’ll miss out on the AFCE probably after today, and they have titles for each segment so you can skip the calls and athlete interviews. Ok the AFCW show just dropped on Sirius rewind so now you have the whole list. We are 2nd for the AFC. They start the NFC today. I’ll add as they go a,Ong if you guys like it. If I hear from you guys you like this stuff, I’ll keep track of the other position groups for those that don’t have Sirius. I keep Sirius only for the NFLR and specifically this show. Between the positional group rankings, they are going to start the interpretation of plays and strategies where they help educate fans on jerk routes, rub plays, and so on. They just discussed in detail the other day why Peyton Manning rarely was sacked as a player.
  15. And a lot of women cheat on their husbands. They are all scum. I had, had a friend who thought it was hit to cheat with married men. The whole taboo crap. She’s single. I was sick of hearing it asked her how she could do that knowing she’s complicit in ruining another woman’s life. We distanced as I told her this part of her is so incredibly vain and self absorbed. Needless to say we don’t go out for sushi or movies anymore. She was a platonic friend only. I just have no respect for men or women who sleep with married people especially a friends wife! That’s disgusting. I was married for 21 years and never once considered cheating on my ex. Sure it’s a nice compliment when another woman flirts with you, but I at least keep a distance once that happens. Happily married people don’t give off a cheat flirt vibe.
  16. The restaurants or pizza places can choose what size they want as the larger the more expensive it is to the restaurant. Blasdell Pizza used to order jumbo wings when I worked there 35 years ago as a delivery boy. Good high school and early college job. Interestingly, hot was Frank’s, medium was half Franks/half butter, and mild was just butter. Suicide is where they used to put all kinds of crazy spices and peppers in it where you start tearing eating them. I don’t that many these days. Usually a dozen, but maybe a few times a year. They are just too bad for you that it has to be a treat.
  17. I really wish everyone would not turn any of this stuff into a debate over travel to a grocery store or anything else. Just mourn and pray those loved ones lost and the pain their loved ones will grieve for a long time. if you’ve ever lost an immediate family member, you’d know that pain. My mom didn’t die of a shooting, but she died suddenly on my 40th birthday. My birthday has never been the same years later, but I’m good now and can think and speak fondly of her with funny stories, etc. Just stop with petty arguments please. These poor children, parents, siblings, spouses lives changed forever. Reverence is needed. I will not respond to any reply. I’ve said my piece and say my prayers for these poor families. I don’t pray for the lives lost as I remember my moms funeral vividly. She’s in heaven! We pray for those grieving over her loss. These people are with god now, whatever god you believe In as not a political comment. It’s the family that will be in pain for years, until they can move forward. Unfortunately it doesn’t happen quickly especially for a senseless, and ridiculous little monster that has no and I mean no legitimate excuses for his barbaric actions! For the 99% of you showing respect, thank you. You just showed you’re humanity.
  18. An unpopular POV, but Knox will definitely be extended and TE’s usually don’t break the bank like other positions. Davis will cost, and my unpopular is Poyer will not be extended as hate it. I know he’s 32 so unlikely unless he would accept a 2 year extension at what he’s making now. I doubt he will. Edmunds, we’ll never know how the Bills view him. Outsiders nationally like him, but we know TBDers mostly don’t like him. The last article I read (can’t remember the source so can’t produce it, sorry), speculated it will go from $208 to $228 mil., but in 2024, they stated $256 mil. It continues to balloon after going up on avg. around $18-20 mil the successive years. We’ll need it to absorb these ballooning contracts. We are maturing as a team with extensions at the right time. Expect us to keep drafting a RB mid RD every year as they will let Motor and Moss walk. It’s the new NFL you keep taking a guy between the 3rd to 4th rounds. I expect we’ll also draft a LB and Safety next year. Probably another G too. Anyway, just mentioned as it pertains to the cap, not that I want to talk draft a year away.
  19. Never a good call to talk badly in anyway about a previous employer. I’ve had to deal with layoffs in the past as one company buys another, but doesn’t port the Salesforce type stuff. You just avoid like the plague a company who made bad decisions. Always take the high road. There’s no upside to trashing someone who let you go. Dabol saved him and he’ll look better on a bad team. He’s an average Guard. That’s all. Not horrible but he’s no Saffold or even Bates.
  20. I was thinking of the same thing. You’re telling me Allen wasn’t trying to fire up this team? Bottom line is we lost. We played one of the most exciting playoff games in the history of the NFL, whoever decided not to do the squib kick screwed up and Wallace was beat. It’s over, moving on. The good news is we played fantastic enough that we are ranked #1 now by most sources. We improved in almost every area in the off season. Between Settle, Jackson, Elam, Von, Howard and Cook, this is going to be one helluva team.
  21. John, bud you might want to check OTC and Spotrac 24 hrs after you hear the last contract is signed. I believe we’re around $5 mil. Or so over the cap.
  22. This entire thread is dumb and to accuse people who have a life that they are not a Bills fan if they aren’t obsessed with 13 seconds is irrational. Get over it. We’ve fixed as far as we believe every hole. It’s not Madden. Every team has flaws. Look at KC who went in meltdown in the secon half against the Bengals. Look at the Bengals who couldn’t pull it together against the Rams. Ficus on today and tomorrow. That’s what winners do. I’ll use this as I’ve used with my sales teams in the past as just a small illustration. You may think this is just another Rocky Movie, but really embrace the message he’s trying to say to his son. It’s not hard you get hit, it’s how many hits you take and keep moving forward!
  23. Why do you guys want to dredge up the past? I live in the now and the future as that is controllable. No, we all hated it, and lamented after that we should’ve been able to beat Cincy and would’ve been in the SB, but it’s over. The league actually changed the rules because of the OT, and we addressed with a new D Line and replaced Wallace with Elam. What more do you want OP. It’s a waste of energy. The month from the Lion King said it best…
  24. Turk, you realize the entire league as a whole did better away than home last year, and the year before was a toss up. It’s why Vegas struggles to give the home team 3 pts on average anymore as it’s an antiquated way of looking at things.
