  1. So Kyle Williams and Eric Wood, Fredex are not in the wall and a guy who is the popular backup as a journeyman should be considered on the Wall? C’mon, we sentimentalize a guy who was 4-4, 4-9, 6-10, and 6-10. That’s Wall of Fame criteria? Hoping he would he would go one more ride as a backup for us, that’s cool. Do you guys not accurately remember how bad those teams were the previous regimes. He’s being way over romanticized.
  2. I didn’t know Clements was gay. 🤪. Just kidding. That was a vicious hit.
  3. It will never happen. Im guessing you’re just being sarcastic and pulling people’s leg. He certainly did not transcend the game, or anything else of note. He’s a great interesting guy who’s been a backup more than a starter. Dawk, you have to be kidding.
  4. Again with the beach chairs. 🤪. No, it’s still funny. eball, I don’t know if you read the MTC boys rating scale of 17 out of 20 which ranked 3rd to the Saints, #2, and Chiefs #1. Some poo pooed the rating scale, but I’m guessing those people never listen to the MTC show. They have been doing these post draft analyses for years. That RAS score is high and makes sense. The O Line is always a scapegoat for some guys. We’ve rate high By several different metrics in the past in our WR, QB, DB, and yes LB position groups. Weve needed to improve in rushing, TE, DL, and look what what Beane has been doing now for two off seasons and longer. This is going to be a much improved rushing, TE, and DL groups.
  5. This is a joke right on HOF or WOF. Not even Hall of very good. He’s a great guy, but that’s a big fat no. Now Gore at 16000 yards over 16 years, 19980 all purpose yards and 3rd all time if not a 1st ballot, will get in at the 1st couple of years eligibility. The only ones with more yards is Emmett, and Sweetness. There is only 1 NFL RB with over 12,000 rushing yards not in the Hall, and that’s dirty Ricky Waters.
  6. Fitzy had a fruitful career for a journeyman and has made a nice living for his family. It would’ve been nice for him to have a swan song here, but less drama is probably best.
  7. He was overcoming COVID for awhile, and he didn’t just have it, he was hospitalized and had to receive oxygen, so pretty bad. Once he was in a rhythm, he made it back to form. We are fortunate to have him as our franchise LT. I read from GB Saffold, but I also see Saffold along with Morse and Dawkins as veterans as really helping the development of Spencer Brown. He mailed people last year, but this year, he hopefully refines his RT skills. He should take a step this year. Bates may also improve from Saffold’s mentorship.
  8. 716, I know there’s a lot of Madden players on the board. I only played for my kids to be a good dad, but at the end of the day it’s a game, and a timesuck. Give me a jog on the trail, going to a good movie, having fun with friends out socializing, or a date any day of the week (I’m divorced for a few years so oh well). My point is it’s just a game. I’ll take a day at the beach with a friend any day of the week, but there this little thing called work that sucks up 50+ hours a week. Anyway, I’m glad that least he was ranked as the highest non SB winning QB, and higher than Goff or Burrow who as you know were just in one. It just speaks to Allen’s popularity has soared this off season, ie. He was the last of the four asked to participate in the Match. I’m not even a golfer, but was happy for his notoriety. I’ve never seen a 13 second loss, gain more popularity in an off season. I think nationally he has been soaring up the charts. I know on NFLR, he’s referenced a ton and almost always extremely positive on all the shows. We expect that on WGR, but GMFB you’d think he’s the best QB on the NFLN. Good for him, and good for Bills fans who’ve had a steady diet since Allen’s breakout season in 2020. He was gaining favor in 19, but since 20, all the analysts except a few lunatics on PFF, Nick Wrong have come around. Anyway, you guys enjoy you’re game. I think if memory serves it comes out in August. I just remember having to buy it for my sons on the first day it launches for over a decade.
  9. I guess you guys care a lot more about this stuff than myself. It’s why I don’t usually look up power rankings, but only read when one of you post, or too 100 players lists, and things of that nature. I see the value in 1st and 2nd team all Pros, MVP, etc. as they are evaluated by a number of analysts. Pro Bowls are like beauty competitions among fans and players, which is always a screw job for so many top players as they won’t play in Dallas, etc. Hyde and Poyer I was so happy they received 2nd and 1st team all pros and well deserved. The fact Madden has Mahomes #1 vs. Josh #4 is like a big so what. Most people on this board know Allen had a more consistent and overall better year than Mahomes, as Mahomes looked underwhelming in the first few games last year, when they lost 4 times towards the beginning of the year. Thats why Madden is still a biased evaluation. Allen is raising his stardom’s factor a ton and the league took notice as they invited him to this match thing tonight.
  10. Isn’t that the Madden curse? I haven’t played since my sons were young, and they are 23 and 21. It was a fun endeavor, but like all sons, they played so much after school, park, dinner, and hw. Then these two play night after night. I used to get them the new game each year on day 1. As far as him ranked 4, it seems fair to me as the three above him have all won SB’s. As awesome as JA17 is and wouldn’t trade him for any of the three above him even Mahomes. As long as he doesn’t get injured, and I don’t expect him to get any serious injuries as Josh is much better in years 3 and 4 with sliding than he was in 2018. He is trending 10 years from now to be a good jacket one day. I can wait for that though as I want him to have a long and beautiful career in Buffalo.
  11. Inigo, you outdid yourself on this thread. Great job. I too agree we will increase 12 personnel and screens along with the running game. I basically was as I read you’re post, said right, right, and right. Kromer, made a dumb decision a few years ago, but was a good line coach. McD has all, but said he wanted more effective running last year. They now invested in resources at RB, and the line. Jeremy, Howard’s partner has repeatedly stated we only had 7-8% 12 personnel last year, and I called in and countered to him, they basically had Sweeney last year. Howard is an upgrade. I’m not saying will Allen will become Tua and have a ton of 12 personnel, but it reasonable to believe we might run 12 personnel maybe 17-20% of the time. It keeps opposing defenses always wondering what we are going to do.
  12. Royale, no compliment goes unpunished. Don’t get me into the Teef beef. You guys are both good guys. I just have no patience anymore for the Jets, Patriots, and Fins trolls. I have no problem with a balanced opinion as GB just gave it to me on the MTC thread I started. My maybe three times a year thread, but GB is a good dude. I just need to always stay on the good side of Weo, and Gugs. 😇🤪🙏🦬
  13. You were still the one who posted it as I didn’t know, and not a twitter guy. Not that I have a problem with it. it’s nice when our good guys on this board always remember to share good things. You’re one of those guys bud.
  14. Royale, that was really nice you remembering him. It was fantastic to have him call a draft pic before he passed. God bless!
  15. I listened, but was busy for the holiday and wasn’t able to update the final five. Thanks. I think that was fair at 3rd or 4th. I would’ve even been happy at 5th. They won’t make the top 10 at RB, which is also fair. Their point yesterday was Cool hasn’t proven anything yet and they are right. They had us right at the top at QB last year not Just for Allen, but depth with MT. I expect the same with Keenum.
  16. Guys, my point is they don’t have skin in the game, have an objective formula to assess and they are incredibly detailed looking at a lot of parameters. A lot of opinions are armchair QB’s who didn’t take the time to put them on a chalk board vs, 31 other teams. I’ve already detailed a bunch of the stats they use. Listen to the shows for all 8 divisions and then comment. Im listening right now on RBs for Memorial Day and they rated our RBs even with Cook as a little over avg., to just avg. 15 out of 20. That’s not even close to the top 10. These guys aren’t doing the Bills hype tour like some analysts as we have a fantastic team on paper. Then again McD was right, games aren’t won on paper. Some here are just not looking at the line objectively. Listen to all 8 shows and then make you’re own opinion. With rewind, you can skip to each team only download so you don’t have to listen to the calls.
  17. These guys aren’t even on the average scale compared to the rest of the AFC. Wilson, Herbert, Mahomes, Lamar, Burrow, Watson, Allen, and even Tannehill are better. Even Carr is better. Don’t forget in the NFC Brady and Rodgers are still killing it. Then there is Dak.
  18. Tua will grow into JA17. That’s comical. He won’t even be Ryan Tannehill or Kirk Cousins. He’s about as good as Coach Weiss is on NFLR. Tahmy, Tahmy, Tahmy.
  19. Knox isn’t going anywhere. I’ll agree Howard is better than people are giving him credit as I live in Tampa and we get Alabama games every week. I’ve seen every game for him for a long time. So we can agree on Howard and we’ll respectfully disagree on Knox. He’ll be the priority over Edmunds and even Poyer. I wouldn’t be surprised if Poyer signs an extension of two years in training camp. It’s just off season fodder.
  20. All good discussion, but I think it’s very fair Diggs ended up in the 4th spot. I think he’ll end up higher after this year as he may share some receptions increased with the TE’s, but then he’ll also increase due to losing Beasely.
  21. Well the good news is they are on most of the year 10-12pm, but we have the extra point. The sad thing is Bob Papa is one of the best on NFLR after the MTC guys. When it was him with Ross Tucker, that opening drive was a great show. Tuck is a good dude. I occasionally listen to his podcasts, but not the same as he doesn’t take calls. That was a real loss for NFLR. For anyone, I hate doing things halfway and for some reason they didn’t re air the NFCS so I don’t know their rankings. If anyone listened to that show on Thursday, send me a PM or just post the four. I’ll edit the original post.
  22. No disagreement Noggin. My point is many student athletes have been focused on nutrition and an intense training program throughout college and just had a lot of natural testosterone in their bodies as they matured in HS. Once you’ve peaked in terms hitting what you’re body should do, then I stand by my comments. As a aside I competed at a high level in wrestling in HS, then converted from lifting hard to competitive powerlifting in college until I was 32. I was in the US championships the last five years, etc. Not that you need my resume as I’m a middle aged guy trying to be healthy these days, but I’ve always been around people who train at a very high level.
  23. You're probably referring to his short stint on NFLR one morning a week. I thought his candid opinions were refreshing, but not sure what to make of his take on the Coach. Shady was washed up by the time he made it to Chiefs. Bienemy could’ve been riding him as he wasn’t putting in the effort, or could be a jerk. Its a bad call to air dirty laundry in the media. Reid and Bienemy won’t reply at all so you get a guy about to be forcibly retired by the NFL to trash him. I don’t have an opinion as there is. I way to know.
  24. ok Forget how funny that is, but the worst form I've ever seen. Bb will tell you he’s lucky he didn’t kill himself. There are so many flaws it’s not even worth discussing. BTW- clean with no illlegal drugs at all you’re fortunate to gain about 10 lbs. of muscle a year if you’ve peaked. You can gain more of you never spent time in the gym. Once you hit you're peak its thay hard to grow. Maybe 15 lbs on you’re bench, 20 on you’re dead and squat and that’s if you are completely focused. Some of these stories are just so silly and defies what a natural body, no drugs can do. It’s also what guys on drugs blow out rotator cuffs and other small muscles as they can’t keep up with steroid included large muscle groups.
