  1. my mom loved that movie when I was a kid. I think she just loved Redford and Newman. Robert Shaw was a great actor. He died far too young. Between Black Sunday, The Deep, and Force 10 from Navarone, they were some of my favs as a kid. Thanks for the reference Ridge.
  2. I’m over the loss. Cincy for me now that I’m calm.
  3. John, the RN, not ketchup. Just kidding. Damn autocorrect. I see Beane letting Motor check the market and then give him a low offer. Having three RB’s is somewhat of a necessity given how often all RB’s get hurt. I think we have a good shot at keeping all of them. If you’re asking my six fingered friend of it’s an either or, I’d say motor would be gone. Hones has the speed Motor doesn’t, but Motor has skills.
  4. I stand corrected Dapper. Thats possible, but Benford is much more physical. The real answer is probably not on the roster.
  5. Garor, I was not but have been on here for years. You’ll find if you’re new here, most old these guys are pretty cool and knowledgeable as to the NFL and the Bills. As every board some strong opinions, some dumb ideas, some guys who think building a team is like a Madden game, and occasional trolls. The mods are pretty good at bouncing the trolls once they are figured out. Anyway, Mahalo! (I’ve been watching Magnum PI lately on The elliptical).
  6. It is possible Bernard could be trained all off season with Hyde and go to the safety camps, but those consultants/coaches would need to coordinate with our D Backs coaches. It depends on Bernard’s willingness to put in the effort like Josh has done year after year. Safety and CB as well as Nickel are all unique skill sets. Some people on the board think it’s so simple to go from LB or CB to safety. They have different roles. The greater needs right now are G’a (2) and WRs (2). A speedster and a larger Possession guy. It’s possible Beane could work a trade for Jeudy or even Samuel aim San Fran.
  7. I voted yes, but Beane has a lot of magic to make that happen. At minimum with a tight cap will need to secure two WR’s and two Guards. A speed WR, and a bigger possession contested catch guy. We need road grater Guards that will punch open seams for a running game. I still want the pass to be our bread and butter, but when we choose run, it needs to be effective. We were only modestly successful with the rush. I can’t believe our revamped D Line fell apart at the most important moment. McD was not the problem. He’s a solid leader and helped this team through atypical hurdles with two incredible storms, played in Detroit, and oh by the way a player almost died on the field. He needs the right ingredients to make the right soup (Parcells reference)
  8. It’s an explanation, and they did have more to deal with than any other team, but still should’ve worked through it. They have no one to blame, but themselves. This was by far the worst I’ve seen perform this year. The MN loss was Flutie, the best as we know in Miami, and the Jets legitimately beat us. This game was just miserable to watch.
  9. McD isn’t going anywhere nor is Beane. You guys are delusional to think otherwise. They are smarter than you as they won’t be so reactionary. Should things change and improve, sure. Purging the two who have turned this loser franchise around for 17 years isn’t happening. You’re wasting your breath. You’re also proving you don’t know anything about football or a troll. I believe he’ll make changes like he got rid of the ST Coach and Wallace last year. That made sense.
  10. He took the Pats OC job I believe I heard this morning. Figures. No one from the outside would go and work for BB.
  11. And there’s… And…. Any other meltdowns? Were not cleaning house and the thought is idiotic. The trolls are manifesting now.
  12. We are not a big running team. Our strength is in the pass and need to keep adding there. My feelings are we add a speed WR and a possession contested catch WR. We had opportunities with Hines and Cook for a pass catching option and didn’t take it. What does that tell you? just look at Cincy’s trio and how they dismantled us. Can you imagine Allen with a stud trio like these guys? For our run game to improve, it’s not the RB’s, it’s the Guards. Saffold was awful and Bates and Boettger weren’t much better. Morse has been a steady eddy, Dion has been solid, and although we wanted another step forward from Brown, sometimes these guys need three years to develop. He’ll be fine. Bates and Boettger are fine for backups. Ques is a decent backup swing Tackle, just not a starter.
  13. As much as I’m normally pragmatic, this morning’s tie raid by both Howard and Jeremy were appropriate. The same goes for the board. This site has blown up since the loss. Normally, I’d say it’s an overreaction Monday, but this time it was warranted by every post. There are probably some fake trolls on the board now, but at this point I don’t care. I don’t think cleaning house is warranted, but revamping the players is needed. We haven’t looked right since October. I do think the revamped defensive line should be extended. What we need most as Jeremy has been screaming for are two WR’s. First, and speedster in the draft, and second a large possession contested catch guy. Basically trying to mimic the WR trio of the Bengals. Second, we need Guards. I refused to talk about it during the season, but now that it’s over I’m onto thinking of the draft. We don’t have the $ for free agency. Even if we convert Josh and Diggs to a signing bonus, we still need $ to extend those we want.
  14. Philly. SF has enough rings. I’m not rooting for Cincy or KC. Philly has a ring, but they are deserving of another crack at it. These championship games will be pretty good I hope. Both are solid matchups.
  15. For me it’s too early to have these discussions. I’m still upset about yesterday. I was so disgusted with this team and the game plan they came up with for handling their offense. We were pathetic in every facet of the game. It’s time for me to take a break from the Bills. They ripped my heart out yesterday.
  16. And be on a repeater with the Wendy’s “Where’s the Beef” or even worse watching non-stop teletubbies awful Children’s show while my ex repeatedly kicks me in my junk! (She’s actually pretty nice, but it fit the motif)
  17. I seriously doubt it champ. He played only a couple of seasons with us and a losing record to boot. He makes bank from Amazon and an easier life than a front office for the Bills. Just him maintaining his Bills fandom is enough for me. I certainly hope he and Brandt are there today in the stadium.
  18. The Bills defeat all men! Im a bowl full of nervous energy. Heading to the gym now just to burn off some energy. I’ll be too tired on leg day to have that potential MI.
  19. Cmon Jags. You have a limp ping Mahomes. This so gift wrapped for you. My Buff buds want a home game I. The OP.
  20. Turn the sound off. You can always jump Sirius and listen to their feed if you have the subscription.
  21. I can’t put in more than one Imogi, so I pressed awesome, and wanted to say to the Chandman, thanks brother. Here’s to hearing this at least 5 times tomorrow. Personally when I see this I want Moulds to use Coach Marxism’s second which is “ Men, when it’s tough for them, and the stadium yells back, ITS JUST RIGHT FOR US!” Id love it If Damar is in the Pegula Box with a Big Thumbs in the Jumbotron. I’m getting goose bumps just honking about it. Cincy has no idea the buzz saw they are walking into tomorrow. There is loud, and then there is Mafia Loud. Go get ‘em boys! I swear I’m going to have an aneurism by game time tomorrow so excited and nervous all the same time. I’ve had a put in my stomach since I woke up at 4 am this morning. I have a feeling it’s going to be a sleepless night tonight.
  22. Will the Bengals win? I think our 6 fingered friend has this to say. You fallen for one of the classic blunders. First never go to a land war in Asia, and 2nd, Never duel with a Sicilian when Death is on the Line! Inconceivable Mafia!
  23. Donuts, these underrated predictions of the Bills just adds more fuel for our bulletin board. Allen will be playing at top flight tomorrow. They’ll only be able to hold down Diggs so much and the following two will be instrumental. Cook and Knox.
