That’s all I want for Xmas this year. I’m already blessed with a 95 yr. Old Dad, my 3 wonderful and productive children who are all Bills fans, an incredible wife, and life long friends. Just once while my Dad is still here. Please God make the 2025 season be the final one. My wife watched me and she saw me cry this morning as all of WNY, and former WNYERS just want at least one. I’m at that point this part of the year where there is growing hope. If you’re a naysayer, there lots of other threads you can do that as everyone has a right to an opinion. I’m hoping to hear from the true blue Bills fans that bleed red, white, and royal blue like mine. I’m doing much better with making it to church each Sunday, and have this as one of my prayers.

Will Josh Allen Play Tmrw vs Bears
machine gun kelly replied to EmotionallyUnstable's topic in The Stadium Wall
K Man, you're close. Whats been reported from multiple local sources is Coach McDermott prior to the Chicago joint practice states it will be determined at game time who starts and how long he plays. Since the O Line isn’t the problem, one would speculate Josh may have not played of he had a good practice with the Bears. Since many of us already read it was a sloppy practice Friday, Josh may want to play at least one drive, but I doubt more than one series as he's too valuable to risk an injury. Some would argue he’s the most durable QB in the league, but why risk it. -
2nd Window for Superbowl Taking Shape
machine gun kelly replied to PoundingDog's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thurm, I’m with you. Who says you only have a 2-3 year window? Josh could remain barring injuries 9-10 years as he’s only 29. He may evolve into more of a pocket passer the later in his career, but he’s steadily ascended for the last 7 years, and he’s started more games basically double of every other starting QB. -
This was par for the course for 17 years. One bad decision after another, crappy trades, draft pics, and overall mismanaged. Russ Brandon was in way over his head. I’m constantly reminded of well run we are now, and how well constructed we are from top to bottom. 31 teams and fan bases are let down every year. I want us to win the SB earlier rather than later, and hopefully a couple, but we may go after this run for the next 15 years without one.

I loved him while he was here, and understood he wanted to work and the dolphins were offering. Sometimes it’s best just know when it’s over. He looked old and slow his last year here, and was worse in Miami. Sure, a part of me thinks it’s funny, but when I’ve left a company, I’ve never trashed my old manager or the company where I made a living. Just move onto something new. He certainly has made enough $ in his professional career, so invest well, spend time with you’re family, and accept you had a rich career.

Bishop and Rapp practicing in full, Dawkins not practicing
machine gun kelly replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know nothing more than you, but sounds like a backup as they need bodies. He’s only started for lowly Jax for 34 out of 84 possible games. -
You could always call this guy. Hell do it for free. As long as you dont mind the 12inch blade. His name is Dexter. Just bring a lot of plastic.

Thinking Ed Oliver is going to have an even better year, because of a look, is dumb. It truly doesn't matter. Looks don't sack QB’s.

Cook signed👀 - 4 / 48 / 30 mil guaranteed
machine gun kelly replied to JerseyBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess the COOK really is in the kitchen. Sounds like a fair deal for both sides and more than enough time to get in game shape. -
Just a friendly reminder to a few, if you have Max, and 9pm doesn’t work for your schedule, by tomorrow morning at 5am you can watch the replay. That’s what I typically do with things that don’t work for me evening schedule. Everyone is different, but we get up at 5am, and I get one hour of bliss in the morning to make my wife breakfast and coffee, and watch something of interest to both of us. Then off to the gym, and onward for the day.

The annual QB tier rankings from The Athletic
machine gun kelly replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
Dave, the rankings are similar enough to the way I would rank minus the #1 status I would’ve been fine with either Lamar or Josh taking #1 amd #2 in either order. They both had a fantastic season in 2024. As I scrolled down the tiers, I’d only be quibbling over a spot here or there, but overall it seemed fine to me. -
The Once & Future King, John Facenda
machine gun kelly replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
God,I love the Autumn Wind. I still get chills hearing it. Reminds me of being a little boy. -
Well written, as I was going to write a similar response. Either people are too young or have short memories, our team was horrible during the Kelly SB era in the pre-season. Levy was smart enough to know PS is just an evaluation with zero game planning. The Ravens for the longest time had an undefeated PS, but can’t seem to win a playoff game. We’ve had a number of playoff wins, and the PS doesn’t matter. So relax, and enjoy this team coming together. We’ll be fine. Are the same people griping when we win 13-14 games this season?

Exactly. Josh emulates his athleticism, toughness and fortitude. He lost three SB’s before he finally won 2 at the end of his career. I will never, ever forget that helicopter twirl in the SB. That was in years 15 and 16. He never gave up and 40+ come from behind wins or ties. Josh has that spirit in him. He’s by far my favorite all time Buffalo Bill. Even more than my handle Machine Gun Kelly. 20 years from now, all of us to tell story after story about the Great Josh Allen, amd he one day will make the HOF. Yeah, he needs some rings, but if Elway never gave up after losing three, not one, not two, but three SBs. I know it’s early, but I’ll have tears in my eyes when he receives his gold jacket. Let’s hope it’s not for 17-20 years and enjoys a long and fruitful career. BTW- if you’re looking for a thing to watch, I’m watching “Greater”. It’s so inspirational and on Netflix.

Exactly. You must be drinking your title. I lived through Gruden since the Bucs SB. Sure he took Dungy’s team to the SB, and he did make Monte Kiffin the highest paid DC, but then had a roller coaster for the next 7 years. Losing season to a winning season like a freakin yoyo.
-
Roscoe. The problem is he already has a job in SF, and not going anywhere. Lynch would never be dumb enough to fire him. Most good teams wouldn’t, hint hint.
-
For all the critics, who are you hiring to get over the top? Specifically a name. When approached, no one ever seems to have the answer.
-
I thought the same. I guess he’s inferring other teams have to game plan for he and Tee.

Coach McDermotthas a higher winning percentage than Harbaugh, McVay, Carroll, Tomlin, Reid, and Payton at .656. By the way, that’s crushes Coach Levy’s winning record of .562. Guys, I’ll restate what I’ve said before in that it’s a short memory from 17 years of misery. I was on this board when we were perennial mediocre. I’m not willing to throw out the baby with the bath water. I’m just as frustrated as all of you with the championship and divisional losses. It rips my heart out, but affects more than just the coach.

Do the Bills Even Have a Hated Division Rival?
machine gun kelly replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
i love it brother. I was the 3rd person on the post after we beat the Bills Jets game to win the AFCE in 1988. That was a great day as 8 of my college fraternity brothers and 5 of my dearest friends from HS at Frannies went together. We also had a friendly rival fraternity of 30 guys just on the other side of the tunnel. A great day. -
Do the Bills Even Have a Hated Division Rival?
machine gun kelly replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Short answer- F them all. I’m not crazy about the Chiefs, Ravens, or Bungals, but respect them for their accomplishments. They deserve a healthy respect. -
Smelling Salts NOT Banned by NFL - (updated scents!)
machine gun kelly replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall
I know brother. I’ve known you long enough to know when you’re joking. It was pretty funny. As far as health, I still workout 5 days a week, and feel healthy doing it. I know I’m not 30 anymore, but that’s ok. I’d like to think I’m a little more wise now, than 27 years ago. -
Do the Bills Even Have a Hated Division Rival?
machine gun kelly replied to BuffaloBaumer's topic in The Stadium Wall
Old an, thanks for setting this youngins straight. Maybe you’re not aware that the f#$&cking Fish beat us 20 straight times in the 70’s. When we beat them on September 17th 1980 in Rich Stadium, we tore the goal posts down in jubilation. F the fish. Your remarks indicate you’re young. My father still hates the Japanese for Pearl. He’s 95. I try and and have him talk down, but he can’t forget how he felt at 11 when those bastards invaded Pearl. It’s true, they were the greatest generation. Thank god my wife is Chinese as he loves her. It’s irrational, but my point was not xenophobia, just something like that scars you. I hate the Fish with every fiber of my being. The Cheats beat a mediocre, poorly managed Bills for 20 years. We had Saban for a short time in the 70’s, and it was Knox who led us to our first victory over those slimy bastages. I will never ever not hate the Fish. If you were in you’re 50’s or older, you’d never write these words.
