  1. Short answer- F them all. I’m not crazy about the Chiefs, Ravens, or Bungals, but respect them for their accomplishments. They deserve a healthy respect.
  2. I know brother. I’ve known you long enough to know when you’re joking. It was pretty funny. As far as health, I still workout 5 days a week, and feel healthy doing it. I know I’m not 30 anymore, but that’s ok. I’d like to think I’m a little more wise now, than 27 years ago.
  3. Old an, thanks for setting this youngins straight. Maybe you’re not aware that the f#$&cking Fish beat us 20 straight times in the 70’s. When we beat them on September 17th 1980 in Rich Stadium, we tore the goal posts down in jubilation. F the fish. Your remarks indicate you’re young. My father still hates the Japanese for Pearl. He’s 95. I try and and have him talk down, but he can’t forget how he felt at 11 when those bastards invaded Pearl. It’s true, they were the greatest generation. Thank god my wife is Chinese as he loves her. It’s irrational, but my point was not xenophobia, just something like that scars you. I hate the Fish with every fiber of my being. The Cheats beat a mediocre, poorly managed Bills for 20 years. We had Saban for a short time in the 70’s, and it was Knox who led us to our first victory over those slimy bastages. I will never ever not hate the Fish. If you were in you’re 50’s or older, you’d never write these words.
  4. I like that with the one caveat those that are trying to make the team ipeven in a backup role are going to give everything they can. As far as dinner, Pre season doesn’t matter to me. I only casually watch a bit, and I believe this week is on national tv, so that’s fine. Often, they don’t air in Tampa the Bills preseason games.
  5. Now that’s funny. You took a lot of tie. For all these replies bud. I always enjoy your posts friend. Enjoy the day.
  6. MJS, respectfully coming from someone who has taken smelling salts or amonia thousands of times, it is the best opportunity to get a whiff of internal adrenaline and oxygen jolt in you’re body before an explosion which is what you do when you’re trying to squat completely far below the knee 600 lbs. at weighing 175lbs. You need every natural advantage you can get for as close as you can your body to perfection for yourself for 10 seconds. We never practiced with this additive. Only meets. I’m just telling you it works and is legal. They misreported it. The team will no longer supply the salts, but they can bring in themselves so maybe Kittle had bad information and was ticked off. I don’t blame him at all. He’ll, no one ever bought me s,Ellington salts. I had to get on my own. The other thing you can do is take Primetime mist before a lift. It works similarly and is otc. Transient, I’m 57. I completed from 17-33. I represented my team in the US Championships several times. The other years simply the NYS, Southern States, Southeastern US, the FL yearly. Anyway, I know your kidding, and no not yelling at anyone on my lawn or at the clouds. Have a good day friend.
  7. Like them or hate them, they were damn good. Even though they are Jests. I respect a unit’s exports in the field of battle.
  8. Fleez, I’ve mentioned to a few my beautiful bride of 1.5 years is originally about a decade ago grew up in China. The cool thing is as a child they didn’t have a tv so she never saw all of these awesome funny and serious movies so we have on deck Airpllane. She loved the Naked Gun movies so much she made me take her to the new Liam Neeson one. It was actually pretty stupid funny. Tonight after dinner, I’m playing Stripes for her. “That’s the fact Jack”. I love I get relive these classics.
  9. While I appreciate your concern for my sexual health with my wife Wot, I’m good there. The pipes still work and never took a road or GH in my life. I never would. That was against our religion back in those days. That was a funny though. Nice comment my friend.
  10. I think the WGR boys threw up some data this morning that makes sense. It’s true they had a comparable production, but Cook did it with 40% less touches. So Williams had done it all p, but with zero yards over expected, yet Cook only played maybe 45% of the snaps, and had far more explosive plays and 9th in yards over expected. Cook’s body is not meant to hold up like Williams, yet Williams doesn’t have near the explosiveness as Cook. We need another back like Davis or Johnson to complete those tasks. Therefore, a comparable contract makes sense. 3 yrs. For $33 mil with instead of $23 mil. Guaranteed like Williams, we give $24 mil. To Cook. He saves face, but only ends up with the same contract. I can live with that contract. Cook would be done in Buffalo when he’s 29 if the deal has him play out this year, but gets the immediate positive if the guaranteed money. A win win for everyone. Otherwise play out the contract, amd tag him at $14.1mil. which is the expectation tag for 2026.
  11. He looks fine to me.
  12. Amen. I finished the last part of the episode at the gym on the treadmill. My workout buddy comes in at 6:50am, and finishing up cardio. He looks at me and says, what’s wrong Dan. I told him I went from loving episode 1 to when they started Mr. bright side at the end of the episode and Josh comes out of the tunnel to getting choked up and had a tear in my eye. I said, it’s nothing, just if you didn’t grow up in Buffalo, you’ve never loved your NFL team like all of us. He just placed his hand on my shoulder, and said I understand. God bless Josh and this team. I didn’t expect to have an emotional reaction that early in the morning. He’ll, I’m Irish. We laugh a helluva lot more than we cry. This was only a tear.
  13. Bill, I went to the Max app. This morning at 5am. I hit the search button, and hard knocks. It comes up immediately.
  14. First, I’m just a middle aged guy who wants to remain healthy. Having said that I was a national competitor in powerlifting for 17 years. I took ammonia before each lift of the 9 for a full meet, and the only thing ammonia tablets do is make you take in so much oxygen for a few seconds for a burst of energy. Natural as it’s only you’re body responding to a noxious stimuli. It’s not a PED, or anything like it. It wears off quickly which is why I would take for years for each lift. This is stupid. Talk about the nanny state. This is coming from a guy who was lie detected, ruin, and for the US championships they started hair testing to ensure you were clean. Supplement a like Creatine, or ammonia does nothing but voluntarily taxing youre kidneys during g a round of creative which is why you restrain water which goes againts making weight. So bottom line is why not let players use ammonia if they need it. It only gives a very short burst on increased oxygen naturally for a minute tops. Guys I’m not touting my history 27-44 years ago. Just simply unlike many I’ve taken amonia probably 1000 times with no adverse effect, other than waking your ars up for a minute. You’re not blood doping as that is universally illegal in every sport. Ask Lance Armstrong. I’m rereading some of these posts and looked thoroughly into amonia. There is no deleterious effect on the spleen and is not a performing enhanced drug that can increase strength or speed. Heck, Janitors get a good dose of this when using industrial cleaners. This is silly.
  15. Go to Max My Sooner friend. Then just a quick search on Hard Knocks and it comes up immediately. You can’t go wrong see the trailer. It’s pretty nice for a promo. It won’t fully air until 9pm. I mentioned on another thread, I’ll watch tomorrow morning at 5 am, before I get ready for the gym. I try to always be on the gym floor at 6:30, so I get 45 minutes in the am to make my beautiful wife breakfast and coffee.
  16. You can’t go wrong with Boardwalk Empire. It’s been a long time for me, but loved back then. I highly recommend. Although not a documentary, it has so much based on the mob back in the 20’s, and early 30’s. Process, Simon is correct. I plan to watch at 5 am tomorrow before the gym.
  17. That’s a lot of drinks for one episode Pete. I remember in my college Fraternity in the late 1980’s we would finish up with dinner and the library. Then a ton of us would get up to the TV lounge so Sunday Night Star Trek. All those that attended was required to take a drink every time the doors would open and close. Swoosh-Drink. Another scene, Swoosh-drink. Let’s just say Monday mornings were a little more slow moving. Thank god my first class was typically at 9:10am.
  18. No argument, but Mayfield has been a nice extension from Brady. The Bucs haven’t missed a beat since the transition, amd that with eating $33 mil in dead cap from when Brady retired. A lot worse than our Bills with the exception of the Diggs exit, yet at least in that situation we received a high draft pic for Diggs. No such event occurred with the Bucs. Wait until the end of this year. The Falcons, Panthers, nor the Panthers have any shot at taking the crown from the Bucs. For the others, I never stated it was Baker that did the five years, just the Bucs never went south after Brady left the Bucs in the lurch.
  19. It’s actually projected at $14,146 in 2026. My reasoning is we have him at $5.3 mil. this year. That’s basically $19,446,000 over 2 years so an annual of $9,723,000 over an avg. for two years. The problem is we have to pay the tag up front. That’s even better than $13 mil. Per year., but we would get time to smooth out the cap and one more year. Either way we win. Thats my reasoning. This would be my final offer, and we can still give $23 mil guaranteed +$1 to save face for the guy.
  20. Im fine with $11/yr. For 3 years. I was leaning up to this point with playing out his year, tagging him, and either sit out next year or sign the freakin tag. Either way we could be done with him at either 27 or 28. That’s the shelf life of most RB’s not named Henry. Besides Williams has done it longer than Cook. It’s beautiful leverage for Beane. 1350 all purpose yea rds in 2023 1481 all purpose yards in 2024. How the hell can his agent state cook has done more?
  21. Id love to take credit Dule, but it was simply an autocorrect. I do t take false credit for stuff.
  22. JP, it would have been nice for you leave the last names, and no. Im still an avid Bills fantic, but now have lived in Tampa longer than Buffalo. We love Mayfield down here, but some who don’t follow the NFL that closely still think of the reputation of Mayfield in the beginning. He’s been a helluva find for Tampa. It’s a large reason why the Bucs have won the NFCS for the last 5 years just like the Bills. Mayfield is no Allen, but he is a heck of a good QB.
  23. Geez, just move on already.
  24. The report from the Bills is simply he is week to week, yet this reporter indicates 4-5 weeks. Maybe it will be this timeframe, but to me this is speculation as the bills usually don’t give out timeframes unless season ending like an ACL, or Achilles. So I’m going to remain hopeful he cuts that guesstimate by a week. Shakir is young and normally pretty healthy. There have been exceptions to timeframes like AP who cam back months before expected and killed it after his ACL. Granted these examples are usually the exception, not the norm. So my positive attitude is he makes it back no later than four weeks. He’d have a week before the Ravens game, so to me it’s not an absolute he misses that game. Probably, but not a fact he’s missing the game.
  25. My thought that domes to mind is the West has two legitimate competitors in division with the Broncos #1 defense and another year to develop the offense, Payton and Harbaugh are two of the more accomplished coaches, so the other is the Chargers. Lastly, the Raiders now have Pete Carroll a SB winning NFL coach, and more experience in their new year, and Geno Smith who played well enough in Seattle. KC finally has some real competition in the AFCW.
