  1. I think every hit within the whistles should be legal, minus groin hits. Bring back the arm bar. De-pussify football.
  2. Sorry, Chris. Get back to Momma Kelsay. She has cookies waiting.
  3. That doesn't make it HIS number, but either way Im sure Mario wouldn't mind paying the fee for Kelsay to change it.
  4. In what way is it HIS number? A number isn't proprietary and even if it was, it would be owned by the Bills - not Kelsay. The number was on the Bills jersey which was worn by Kelsay when he was paid to play for the Buffalo Bills. It's not his anything.
  5. When? When did he play well? I must have been in a coma. Apparently Kelsay. What is with all these awful suggestions for #78? Is everyone who suggests this 12 years old? Must be. No way an old timer would give up Bruuuuce's number.
  6. The Bills are probably a little fed up with this. They want to sell jerseys and make money and there probably isn't a lot of double 00 Mario Williams jersey's being sold.
  7. How many 1/4 mile tracks are windy? Not too many... The Gensis has a turbocharger. You're comparing apples to oranges. But even so, the Mustang will sport a 400+ HP compared to the Genesis 210. For what it's worth, the Mustang beat up on the Genesis in the 1/4 mile beating it 14.8 to 15.3, has a better weight to passenger ratio, higher RPM's, and more HP. As far as the WRX goes, well yeah... a $35,000 WRX is going to outperform a $20,000 Mustang.
  8. The Charger is a family car masquerading as a sports car. Most of the people you know have probably only owned it for a few years. A buddy of mine just traded his 3 year old Charger in for a Camry. Recent issues have ranged from electrical issues (doors not interconnecting, window locks, key recognition) to fuel evap system valve issue (rollover). There are people who love their Charger. But by year 5, there are a lot of people who wish they had purchased a different vehicle for the price. In my opinion, If you're looking for a sporty car, the 2012 Mustang would be your best bet for your price range. Mustang's have had issues in the past, but Ford is stepping their game up. The power to weight ratio in a Mustang is far better. Better stopping time, v8, lighter... if you race, then the Mustang is going to beat the Charger in the 1/4 mile almost every time.
  9. Theyre so incredibly different, i'm not sure how you could possibly make that comparison.
  10. I wouldn't be surprised if the Bills had Gilmore graded higher. Claiborne may have 4 more interceptions, but remember, teams don't tend to throw to the side that a very good CB is playing. The 4 forced fumbles is also telling. Nix wanted a BIG CB that could cover bigger WR's and also help with the run game. And Gilmore is clearly better in the run game than Claiborne. South Carolina gave up 8 more points per game than LSU. That's a large statistical difference. In the NFL, that would be the difference between the Steelers defense and the Cardinals defense. And no one thinks the Steelers are "a little better" than the Cardinals.
  11. You dodged a bullet. You don't want a Charger. My father-in-law owns a dealership and well... buy with your HEAD, not with your eyes.
  12. Yes, but you're better off with StubHub or Craigslist. People on TicketExchange tend to be 15-20% higher in price.
  13. 1) If Norwood's kick was a couple feet to the elft 2) If Troy Aikmen broke his arm the day before SB 27 ...etc The Bills would have 4 Super Bowl trophies. And if aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle. If IF's and BUT's were candy and nuts...
  14. Is Rian Lindell an NFL kicker? I sure hope so, considering he is currently our kick off specialist. And that "NFL kicker" does have A LOT of trouble getting the ball to the back of the endzone. In fact, he's 4th last in the entire NFL in getting the ball to the back of the endzone. He has a miserable 28% success rate. I don't know if Graham was a good pick, but he certainly wasn't a UDFA. Thats what I questioned of yours. Not that he was a good pick.
  15. Nah. He clearly was not a draft pick to contend for the field goal work. He simply isnt good enough. He was drafted to boom kicks out of the endzone and he's damn good at that. He'll probably make the team as the 46th guy, whether or not he does particularly well in camp. Chan wants to play the field position game and having a 28% touchback kicker like Lindell will get you killed. Bingo.
  16. I disagree with much of your signature and draft grades. Graham would not have been an UDFA. He may have been taken within 10 picks after us. At the latest, the 4th round. You got suckered in by the Kipers of the world. Potter was a solid pick up. Good kickoff specialist and will single handily help field position.
  17. This may turn out to be one great draft... "I know at least two teams that have him (Gilmore) rated higher than Claiborne" - Peter King “This will probably come across as bold or controversial, I just base it from what I see on film, but I think the best corner in this year’s draft is Stephon Gilmore from South Carolina.. I start watching college tape about a week after the Super Bowl, and you keep doing it up until, so you watch more and more and you update." - Greg Cossell, NFL Films "There are those who believe Gilmore is better than Claiborne. I'm one of them" - Doug Farrar (Shutdown corner blog)
  18. Spiller, Carrington, Moats, Nelson, and Easley have all been contributors from the 1st Buddy Nix draft. Jury is still out on Troup. He needs to stay healthy. Overall, that first draft seems to be a draft full of depth with a splash of starting quality with Spiller, and Easley.
  19. I'm convinced the Bills wanted Reuben Randle in the 3rd. It's a damn shame we didn't move up a few more picks and grab him. He's going to be the 2nd best WR of this draft.
  20. Straight from buddies mouth. You can believe him or choose not to.
  21. Correct. And if you think about it, it makes sense. Carrying an extra kicker on your team is worth not giving up valuable field position. A 28% touchback percentage is awful. Potter will get that over 50%.
  22. You should listen to Buddy's press conference then. Potter is not here to kick field goals.
  23. Makes a little more sense now. He wasn't drafted to compete with Lindell for field goals, but rather to be a kickoff specialist. Potter had a 44% touchback percentage in college. Consider that the kickoff is 5 yards shorter in the NFL and his percentage should be well over 50%. To put that into perspective, Lindell had only a 28% touchback percentage last season.
