What's the over/under on how many games he lasts before getting crushed behind that O-line?

10/18/21 Gameday Bills @ Titans Pregame thread

Funny that they didn't notice his moniker is Yolo in Ohio. Maybe they don't know what state Buffalo is in? -
The Bills fanbase is extraordinary, it's true. Especially for us die-hard fans, the drought was humbling. I really don't recall what Pats* fans were like during their first couple years of Brady*-- did they have that humility? (probably not, if you've ever known people from Boston...) But there is also something about this team, and its culture. Winning cultures are not all the same, and the one that McD/Beane have created is spectacular. Remember when they first showed up, and they traded away players like Watkins, and Darby? You can have all the talent in the world, but if a player doesn't have the right character, it's a non-starter for McDermott, and Beane. It's one of the top priorities in their draft evaluations. Aaron Hernandez, or Albert Haynesworth would never have made it through the front door. The current Bills team, led by Josh Allen, have fun on the field. They're humble. They support each other. They support the local community, and to a significant extent, they lead the fanbase. Maybe the (ever growing) bandwagon fans, who don't pay all that much attention to the team they're following, will become obnoxious. But, for the rest of us, I think we've become invested in making our team proud of us, as we are of them.

I don't think anyone is suggesting to "arbitrarily" sit Milano. I think there are many who think he should not be rushed back, if there is a chance his hamstring issue is not 100%. I posted several days ago that Milano being out of this game didn't concern me, because AJ Klein might actually be a better matchup vs. Derrick Henry. Milano is certainly the better LB, but Klein is exceptional against the run, he's fast, he's a very good tackler who wraps guys up, and he has 20 pounds on Milano. If Milano's back to full strength (and today's report suggests as much) then great. But, if he sits, or has a limited snap count, I think we'll be well covered by Klein.

Well, I'll say this: I was born and raised in Rochester, NY, but have lived in Los Angeles for 30 years. My mom still lives in the house I was born in, so I get back there a couple times a year, but mostly I'm pretty isolated from my "tribe," as it were. Well, there is a local Bills bar in Santa Monica, called Busby's, which is taken over by WNY transplants every Sunday during football season. It's a bit of a drive for me, and always crowded on a football Sunday, but every year I go to two, or three games there. It's difficult, and complicated to describe the experience, but there is something utterly grounding about spending a game Sunday with this crowd. People from Western NY are just different from folks from So Cal, and I'm one of them. Not better, or worse. Just different.

They are getting Jones, and Brown back, so that may not be entirely accurate.

Henry is going to see a swarm whenever he gets the ball. If one of our guys gets to him, and slows him down at all, he'll have three other guys on him in an instant. As Poyer put it, the Bills are going to "get population to the football." IMO, Henry will make an impact, but the Bills D are going to limit him, and take away the huge gains.

Penalty Analysis: Bills vs Chiefs
Rocky Landing replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I haven't read the article yet, but I will say, Rousseau was practically undressed by their RT on a few plays. I've never been of the mind, however, that the refs are crooked, and trying to throw a game one way, or the other. That would literally be a felony. -

I mentioned in another thread that I thought AJ Klein was a good matchup vs Derrick Henry. Milano's certainly the better LB. He does everything, and can be all over the field in coverage, blitzes, run D, etc. But Klein is playing really well. He's fast, and plays mean. He's been great stopping the run-- that really is his wheelhouse. And he has 20 pounds on Milano. And Henry is the biggest threat on the Titans.
-
This is something. I didn't remember that many people being out. I do remember Josh Norman (who otherwise had a good game) being humiliated by Derrick Henry knocking him ass over elbows.
-
Hopefully, Milano is back for this game. But, whether he is, or isn't, I hope we see AJ Klein out there often. Derrick Henry is the biggest threat in this game, and I feel like Klein might be the right matchup for him.

I mean, he got an interception four yards away from Patrick Mahomes.

50/50 PB to J, on white bread, in a baggie, and stuck in your pocket for at least four hours while you ski. The jelly soaks into the bread on one side, and sorta crystalizes. Someone says, "wanna break for lunch?" and you say, "nah, I'm good..." Then you go off on your own, and eat the sandwich in the chairlift with the half pint of milk you had stashed in your other pocket. Word.

The Bills looked downright sleepy when we played the Titans last season. The Steelers game, week one, reminded me a lot of that game. This last victory vs KC does nothing to assuage my anxiety over this game. The Titans can run hot or cold, and they’ve been a bit cold this season. They’ve been cold this season, but they were pretty hot vs the Jags. Of course… Jags… I know McD and the Bills are going to focus, and travel to Tennessee ready. I want to see a decisive win, without injury. Go into the bye, then come out and hand Miami another humiliating shutout— this time in our house.
