  1. I'm starting to enjoy this game.
  2. What's the over/under for how long Mac & Cheese lasts?
  3. I didn't really watch this game too closely, but I don't think I saw Tua take a second read.
  4. I think it's less about the high point guy we're missing, and more about the YAC guy. And I don't think that's a question of speed, or highpoint. Right now, the best receiver we have in terms of running through a crowd is probably Singletary. I was wondering during the Chiefs game how many of Mahomes passing yards on the season were gained after the ball was in his receivers hands. Having guys like Smith-Schuster, Watson, and Kelce will put a lot of extra yards on the QBs stat line. Other than Knox, we really don't have a bruiser WR like that. Hodgins does have a great catch radius. But, with Allen throwing the ball, does catch radius becomes less of an important attribute to YAC? I feel like Claypool might offer something we're missing in those terms.
  5. Not the Pats*. I want them to be sitting at home crying into their Sam Adams come playoff time.
  6. This is a little nit-picky, but did anyone else notice that during the telecast there was some woman in the crowd, very unfortunately near one of the on-field microphones, who was doing that really racist, Indian woo-woo-woo-woo thing, in a really high-pitched voice? Throughout the entire game! Once I started hearing it, I couldn't stop hearing it. It was making my ears ring. I can't imagine how annoying it must have been to be within twenty seats of this woman.
  7. He is a piece of work. The internet does have a way of magnifying some people's personality disorders. There are people who really get off on making people upset, or angry, and in this instance, he's throwing his net as wide as he can, trying to catch as many negative reactions as he can.
  8. What's also crazy is that if we hadn't pulled off this win, they'd be #1!
  9. And by the way... current standings in the AFCE: Bills 5-1 Jets 4-2 Dolphins 3-3 Patriots* 3-3 That looks about right to me.
  10. There's going to be a lot of hot takes after this game. But the bottom line is: They got it done. GO BILLS!
  11. If only they could win the close games...
  12. Most of my fingers are bleeding...
  13. Moss inactive. Is Cook going to cook?
  14. Man Breece Hall is the real seal. And the Jets know how to run a screen. I'm impressed with some of their blocking.
  15. I don't mean "rookie with potential" that as a compliment. He's not a rookie. But, he does have an arm. That's my point.
  16. Zack Wilson looking like a rookie with potential. He has ability-- but lots of stupid rookie mistakes, and poor situational awareness.
  17. Good offense? I certainly didn't say that! I think there was a lot of hay made over the pre-season about how they were "installing a new offense," and its implementation was the reason Jones was struggling. But I don't think it's a different offense-- it's the same offense, minus a certain percentage of QB protection, and the play calling of Josh McDaniels. There are no new "wrinkles" here. Patricia, and/or Judge (or whoever the hell is in charge of that offense) didn't come into Foxboro with some innovative, or complicated offensive scheme. They just picked up wherever they figured McDaniels left off, and Mac & Cheese is expected to read defenses, and adjust at the LOS-- a task he is not up to.
  18. Zach Wilson, who was drafted into an utterly horrendous situation, is ascending. If you watched Justin Fields the other night, with the poor O-line, and Chicago's poor receivers, he is ascending. Trey Lance showed clear promise before going down with injury. All of those QBs were given more responsibility than Mac & Cheese. He started off his career with the equivalent of a high school playbook, and was only allowed to take more control incrementally. He endured possibly the most embarrassing win over the Bills when he was trusted to throw the ball three times in the entire game. But, Mac is also not ascending-- he's dropping like a rock. Upon being given the full reins of an NFL offense in his second year, he has floundered. He is quite possibly being surpassed by Zappe. And in my honest opinion, when Mac Jones utterly panicked, hopping on one foot towards the sideline with an ankle sprain, he acted out his own epitaph. I do not believe he is fit for the NFL.
