  1. So, I watched the Panthers at Pats* last night, and I'm pretty sure I saw this: Mac & Cheese played in three series-- all against the the Panthers' second string, I believe. In his first two series, they went three and out, and looked like warm dog poo. At the end of the second series, after throwing a truly terrible seven-yard incompletion, I do believe Jones walked back to the sideline crying. Literally wiping away tears. Did anyone else see this? I'm not even sure what to make of it.
  2. Says the guy named PetermansRedemption...
  3. So terribly sad. I lost my brother 15 years ago. It stays with you.
  4. It really would be. I know it's obviously not likely, but it is conceivable. DW was a top five QB before he took his time off. And the Cleveland Stains have some talent on that team. If there is some resolution where DW only has a six, or eight game suspension, they make the playoffs, other team's injuries, etc... oof. What a nightmare for the league. I wonder if this thought might be in Goodell's head as he deals with this mess?
  5. Can you imagine the chaos if the Cleveland Browns, led by Deshaun Watson, made it too the Super Bowl?
  6. I really like hot sauce in general-- I have about fifteen different bottles in my fridge right now (including several homemade from various friends, and family). I bought the three bottle package of Diggs last December for stocking stuffers (mostly to piss off my father-in-law who is a Pats* fan). It has become the general go-to in our house. Seriously-- it's just really good.
  7. I have every bit of confidence, and am honestly quite sure that Stefan Diggs most definitely was at the very least presented a sample of this sauce, at which point he tried it, said "OK," and then probably signed some documents. Later on, he had a photo shoot, and probably signed some more documents. It'e really good stuff-- one of my favorite hot sauces. You can put it on a hard boiled egg, and then suck on it.
  8. Tobasco with sweetness, and a little more body.
  9. True story: We love hot sauce in our house, and that includes my 12-year-old son Bruno. We always have about fifteen different hot sauces in our fridge. Occasionally, my wife (who is not a particularly good cook) will come out with a meal that is overly bland. Bruno and I will look at each other, and one of us will quietly posit, "Diggs?" And the other will answer, "Diggs." Diggs 14. Elite Hot Sauce.
  10. I'm still at work. Is anyone watching the Cll/Jax game? How much has Watson been booed?
  11. I kinda hope he does. Not sure how much of a crowd is going to show up to a Jaguars preseason home game, but I would guess that even at half capacity, the amount of booing Watson will receive will be notable.
  12. But did he have chicken wings in his socks?
  13. Who says preseason games aren't fun?
  14. Belichick, Andy Reid... oh, wait...
  15. I felt like I wanted to get this out there before the season officially starts: A lot has been written in these pages about the NFL, and its integrity as an organization-- much of it negative, and not without merit. But one thing they have done, and continue to do, is their Play60 program, and their NFL Flag Football program. These are concerted efforts to fight childhood obesity. Anyone on here who is a parent of young children knows that one of the hardest things to do-- especially in this age of mass school shootings, online gaming and social media, and the pandemic-- is to keep your children physically active. This may be even more true for me, and my family, as we live in Los Angeles. And I have to say, these are very well run, and effective programs. My 12-year-old son is on his fourth session of flag football, and it has been fantastic. The league is well organized, the officiating is surprisingly decent, the games are organized, and well run. All of the equipment is provided. All of the kids get a jersey, and helmet. The coaches (mostly parents) receive training. It teaches fitness, sportsmanship, competitiveness, and camaraderie. And I see a lot of kids out there who are struggling, and dealing with, their own weight issues. And it's really reasonably priced! Clearly not a money maker, I have to believe it is operated at a loss. Well done NFL! And GO BILLS!

  16. Yep. Given that a) the Patriots are installing a new offensive scheme, b) this is Patricia's first stint as an OC, or offensive play-caller, c) Mac & Cheese is going into only his second season, and d) by all credible accounts, the Patriots' offense has struggled mightily in training camp... not playing the starters very much feels like an offense that is not ready for television. If Belichick* retired tomorrow, he would be leaving the Patriots* organization a shambles.
  17. https://www.nfl.com/news/patriots-qb-mac-jones-most-starters-won-t-play-preseason-opener-versus-giants Interesting that the Pats* won't be playing Jones, or most of their starters in the first preseason game. I kind of understand Jones not playing-- plenty of starting QBs won't be playing in their first preseason game-- but The Pats* are installing a new offensive scheme, and reports indicate that their offense hasn't had a single good showing vs. their own D in TC. Are they not ready to put these new concepts to the test in a preseason game for a series, or two? This is what preseason is for. Daniel Jones is going to play, as are most of the Giants starters (according to Brian Daboll). Trevor Lawrence, Mayfield, Darnold, Zach Wilson-- all playing. Does not bode well for Patriot* Nation, IMO.
  18. OK, thanks. Just saw it there, and he did say it was released by the Bills. (Still odd that it doesn't appear to be available on any of the Bills' official platforms...)
  19. Everyone hated Thad Brown until yesterday when he talked up Hodgins.
  20. How about it OP @17islongenough? Where'd you get this?
  21. I'm inclined to agree. I would like to know where this chart came from? It's not on https://www.buffalobills.com/team/depth-chart, it's not on either of the Bills' official Twitter accounts, FaceBook page, or anywhere on their official site that I could find. Perhaps this has been discussed further up-thread, but this looks like someone grabbed the Bills logo, and made this up..... right? Or have I missed something.
  22. I have felt that the signing of Saffold, the early attempted signing of McKissic, and then Johnson, the hiring of Kromer, and the drafting of Cook shows that they are committed to improving the run game. I'm also of the opinion that that commitment began before the end of the 2021 season. Good point also about versatility, and I think Beane, and McD have always felt that way about versatility. I had never really thought about it in terms of "everybody is a threat to score points" -- even Big Tommy Doyle!
  23. Although, one has to wonder what Poyer makes of this development?
