  1. Jesus, what an arrogant post.
  2. The annoying thing about "13 seconds" is that it has become a rallying point for Patriots* fans who don't want to admit their loss of dominance in the division. They think those two words win arguments.
  3. As I mentioned upthread, Inglewood is not so far from the coast. It should be around 80˚ max by kickoff, and it is a dry heat. I haven't been to SoFi yet, but I assume there will be some temperature mitigation on the field, as well. I don't think the temperature is going to be a factor at all.
  4. My boy will be wearing 17. I'll be wearing my old Kyle Williams #95, 'cuz my Fred Jackson #22 doesn't fit anymore.
  5. Well, I'll be there with my son. So, at least two.
  6. I've been to both of the Bills games played in Los Angeles since the return of football to LA, and the Bills players themselves have said it felt like a home game. There's a ton of Bills fans here, many of them transplanted WNYers like myself. I'll say also, LA fans are some of the most ambivalent in the league, IMO. Von will be cheered, and so will the rest of the Bills.
  7. I'll be there with my 12yo son, and he's actually pretty psyched about it.
  8. Forlorn's posts, and the frequency thereof, have the strong odor of a political agenda...
  9. It was their son, and if they don't want to release the information leading to his death, that is their choice. I'm also a little perplexed by the assumption that staying private would negatively affect the general public, and that it would not even be their decision. And the fact that you "don’t understand how releasing that information would make the impossible task of processing this tragedy more difficult for the family," only highlights the notion that it's really none of your business. How can we assume how this is affecting their family? Not trying to be combative here. Just my opinion. Well, I posted that statement exactly once, so I have no idea what you're talking about. Also, I was responding to someone who apparently disagrees, so there's that...
  10. The Knox family is entitled to their privacy.
  11. I think you're looking at the weather forecast for Los Angeles. SoFi Stadium is in Inglewood (still technically LA) which is closer to the coast, which is always cooler. The forecast high for Thursday that I read for that area is 86˚. That means by kickoff, it should drop to around 80˚.
  12. It was 109˚ at my house in the Hills of the Angeles Forest, just outside of Los Angeles today.
  13. The Patriots* will be very upset when the Dolphins bury them.
  14. From what I saw in preseason, I think the Dolphins are going to bury the Pats*.
  15. Marquez Stevenson. Although I doubt he will be on the 53 for long.
  16. Saw that Chicago cut Late Nate Peterman. Could our long, national nightmare finally be over?
  17. The Patriots* lost their exceptional O-line coach Carmen Bracillo to the Raiders, along with Josh McDaniels. Their O-line coach is now Matt Patricia, who is also their (sorta) OC. The days of the dominant, silk-purse-from-a-pigs-ear O-line of the Pats* is over. The Pats* could not keep Mac & Cheese protected against the Raiders, and Panthers second string pass rush.
  18. It was very hard to read, and I had to squint a lot. But apparently they're going to the Super Bowl.
  19. From what I've read, he's a lock at NT.
  20. Is another team would be interested in Moss, it might be as much for his pass pro ability as his RB ability. Did he get a lot of snaps in the preseason games, though? I feel like we didn't see him all that much, and if they were shopping him, he would have gotten more playing time.
  21. What are you talking about? She filed a police report in October.
  22. McDermott said several times in his presser last night that he wanted to find the "truth," and then "do the right thing." I think McDermott is a very decent man. He certainly knows that cutting Matt Araiza now would likely end his career in the NFL, regardless of how the lawsuit plays out. I think this presents a serious moral dilemma for him. What if everything Araiza is saying is true? But, even if it is, the right thing to do for the team is to cut Araiza immediately. To call this situation a distraction is an understatement. In my opinion, I think the best thing to happen at this moment for the team would be for Terry Pegula to step in and put an end to it. I know he has generally been pretty hands off, but it's not just the team that is distracted-- it's McDermott. Pegula should send Araiza packing, and get the team back to football.
  23. When I got home from work tonight, I watched all the drives that they kept Mac & Cheese in for. He actually had a few decent throws that showed why they feel he has promise. But man, he had a bunch of stinkers. That O-line is crap, and Jones was downright rattled. On a few plays it looked like he literally panicked. And it was all the Patriots* starters against the Raiders scrubs, and the scrubs cleaned their clock. There is so much wrong with the Patriots team right now, it's mind boggling. They look unhappy, undisciplined, and rudderless. The O-line can neither protect their QB, or run block. Their RBs can't find a hole-- because their O-line can't give them one. They have a talented group of WRs that just look frustrated. Their TEs look lazy. And their defense isn't fairing much better. They had the starting D out there as well, and the Raiders second, and third string offense torched them. Those were backup O-linesmen up against Godchaux, Barmore, Judon and the rest. I know it's only preseason, obviously. But, it's frankly hard to believe this is a Bill Belichick* team. What the hell is going on in NE*???
  24. I'm going to switch to the Pats* at Raiders game. If I'm going to watch a team totally suck, I'd rather it be the Pats*.
