  1. I too am of the mind that we will miss Motor.
  2. You have a telling proclivity to cherry pick certain points, and ignore others. Example: Admitting to two big signings, and ignoring the numerous other moves that built a team coming off a 17 playoff drought, to a perennial playoff contender. Also: Quoting most of my post, but omitting the part where I called you silly (only to then immediately prove the point).
  3. Seriously, what are you talking about? He's traded up in the first numerous times, traded for Diggs, and signed Von Miller. Criticize Beane if you want, but to say he doesn't have balls is just silly.
  4. Cleveland showing interest, apparently. Not sure how Hopkins feels about DeSean Watson, but the dude can sling the ball. And Cleveland does have more cap space than us.
  5. Chief's forum at a paltry 52 pages...
  6. That's being kind. Chaos has not actual cited any examples of McD's, or Beane's "offseason whining."
  7. 13 seconds and the Cincy game has to be weighed against a slew of odd adversities (including Hamlin, Knox’s brother) numerous key injuries (including Allen’s elbow), a first-year OC, and still a 14-4 record. And you also can’t just discount the post Rex Ryan/Doug Whaley rebuild, which has become a league blueprint for how to build a winning culture. The Bills would have to experience an actual step backwards to put McDermott (or Beane, for that matter) in the hot seat, in my opinion.
  8. They blew it with “The Commanders.” Washington Americans. Perfect team name for the nation’s capital. Bring back the Native American insignia. Everyone’s happy.
  9. I just did it for the Bills. It had us going 9-8, and losing twice to the Pats*. Dang...
  10. This is a disturbing little stat, but there does seem to be some context missing. The Bills have a much better three-year record than the other three. Does this stat include playoff games? And how many of these games were wins, or losses?
  11. It's Mitch Morse's fault. Dion asked him if those shorts made his ass look fat, and Mitch deflected.
  12. Youth flag football (pre-high school) has actually exploded in the last couple years. The NFL (along with their Play 60 program) has actually been doing a great job with this. Hopefully it translated to high school football programs.
  13. I think you're right.
  14. On a game by game basis, sure, it's maybe not such a huge deal-- especially early in the season. But, the real question is (and I'm not saying I know the answer): Does Aaron Rodgers' 12 additional days of rest over the league average (and Josh Allen) have a cumulative effect as the season wears on? Do those 12 additional days, sporadic though they may be, make for a healthier Aaron Rodger come week 18? And, if so, at what point does that cumulative effect become significant? EDIT: As I think about this, I would also think that if there is a cumulative effect of rest days for an aging QB, it would likely be more advantageous for Rodgers, as they have an early, week seven bye. It would be less of an issue for Allen, and the Bills having a much later, week 13 bye, which would, at least to some degree, negate the necessity for additional rest days going into the end of the regular season. Or something...
  15. I'm going to agree with @RiotAct and predict that there will be a lot of Bills fans at SoFi, just like there was last year for the Rams season opener. GO BILLS!
  16. I couldn't believe how fast the available tickets for the Dec. 23 Bills at Chargers were getting snatched up here in LA.
  17. Seems a little odd to me that the Bills will be "hosting" the Jags in London on 10/8, when the Jags will have already been there for over a week, and have already played the week prior in London. Seems like they should be the home team at that point.
  18. A week 13 bye...! I'm not even sure how I feel about that. I guess it's a good thing... until it isn't...
  19. For anyone in a mood to be horrified: https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=125824877154560
  20. I've always admired his attitude. From the time we brought him in as a UDFA, he fought endlessly for his position on the team, and really made the most of his opportunities. But, it's all going to depend on what color shorts he's wearing.
  21. I'm all for kicking the tires, absolutely.
  22. Maybe ask Josh first? Just because he knows him doesn't mean he likes him...
  23. From what Beane has said in interviews (for as much as that's worth), I think they'd love to have Dorian Williams end up as Mike, but it seems unlikely until later in the season (if at all). If this poll is for week one, I guess I'd have to go with Klein.
  24. I live and work on Los Angeles in the motion picture industry (currently shut down for the writer's strike), and there's a lot of concern for how AI is going to affect the industry, and how many jobs it's going to swallow up. Someone had an AI program come up with a beer commercial, (link below). For context, this commercial is 100% AI produced-- no director, no writers, no editors, no actors, no locations, no camera, and no other guidance other than "make a beer commercial." It's horrifying. Even without any context at all it's horrifying. But the really scary thing is that this is the technology moving forward. As bad, and bizarre as this thing is, the tech only gets better from here, and it's not going away. I may need to retire. https://www.facebook.com/ssavaart/videos/a-beer-ad-made-100-with-ai/125824877154560/
  25. We'll be the first team in history to run 40, or 41 personnel.
