  1. I agree with this. Darby can stay with his guy step for step. It's the tall guys he's had trouble with, and Edelman's only 5'10". And, after Darby's performance vs. Indy, I think he can shut Edelman down.
  2. There was a nice moment during one of the preseason games in San Diego when he was being interviewed on the sideline. While he was answering a question, he became distracted by a big play happening on the field. He stopped talking to watch the play, and the look on his face-- like an excited kid-- his eyes lit up and he broke into a huge smile. It made me really miss his personality, and love for the game in Buffalo. As an LA resident, I end up seeing a lot of the Chargers. He's definitely a good fit for Rivers, and I imagine a welcome addition to an historically gloomy locker room in SD.
  3. IIRC, he led our team in receptions EJ's rookie year.
  4. He's a Patriot* now.
  5. Good WRs also, I would think. And, we definitely have those.
  6. Where was that??? Was that the Steelers game?
  7. He did, indeed. And, he will again. Reliable hands, as always. But, he runs like he's made out if stuffed cotton. And, is it me, or does it look like Brady doesn't really like him? I saw it in the preseason, also. After making a play, Chandler gallops over to him smiling like a big St. Bernard, and you can see Brady say, "good job..." But, his eyes seem to be saying, "Jeezus..."
  8. Pats* jerseys with asterisks instead of numbers!
  9. I laughed out loud when he made his TD catch vs the Steelers. If he hadn't held the ball out over the end zone, he would have been stopped because he couldn't get the YAC (8 inches!). Classic Chandler.
  10. I'm not a big fan of signs. But, this is a really good idea.
  11. Signs can be fun. Just don't be like this guy: Classy, right?
  12. If Chandler catches the ball, make sure he falls backwards, not forwards.
  13. I'm pretty sure Brady's name will be chanted. But, I suspect there will be other words paired with it. Wish I could be there, too.
  14. If you're wondering why the usual suspects have been dog piling on you, it probably has to do mostly with the above, bolded words. I think most people would find it hard to believe that anyone in the Bills' organization, from the Pegulas, down to the kids who squirt the Gatoraid into the player's mouths would consider Sammy "expendable." That word is insulting when talking about a player of Sammy Watkins' ability, and position on the depth chart.
  15. He described Scott Chandler as, "dynamic."
  16. Darby has massive potential.
  17. That's right. HOGAN!!!
  18. Can TT throw more check downs???
  19. Well, of course. But, it has nothing to do with the beer.
  20. Sorry, everyone. The only true beer for Bills game day is Genesee Cream Ale. Proven fact. Yes, in a can. Don't argue with me, I'm right.
  21. Tyrod needs to keep moving the chains. And, he has to read the field. If he is too quick to take off running, they will shut him down. I'm more worried about our defense, though. Darby better get a lot of help on the field. I'm still wishing we had Graham at CB instead of S. Also, I'm not saying we should play vanilla D, but if Rex gets too aggressive with the blitz, Luck will make us pay. I feel like in this game, we should look more like the Schwarz D, than the Pettine D, in terms of scheme. I think we win this game. We haven't seen our offense together on the field once. Shady, Sammy, Bobby, Percy and Charlie all on the field at the same time? With an accurate passer that is a genuine running threat? Behind our much improved O-line? And our defense? This is going to be one hell of a game. Bills 27 Indy 24
  22. I've signed the petition to get Weird Al Yankovic two years in a row. He could do cover songs of all the past performers on the accordion. It would be epic.
  23. Of Williams, Williams, Williams, Williams, or Williams, none have the name, Bill.
  24. There is no way I couldn't vote Fred. However, had we not lost Searcy, we would have Graham still at CB, and we would be worry-free in the secondary.
