  1. Good stuff! I've been rooting for Kujo since the end of last offseason, when it was clear that he was fully committed to improving his play. Compare his offseason work ethic to K Williams! Regarding Gay, I made the assumption that in giving Gay field goal duties, and Carpenter kickoff duties, they are looking to see which one can do the other's job, and which one to cut. Arrow up for Carpenter, perhaps? His kickoff was admirable, and Gay is gone. Little's reception that wasn't a reception: What the hell??? Little took four steps with both hands around the ball with the defender hanging off of it, and then dropped it on his way to the ground out the other side of the end zone. Four steps! How is that not considered a catch?
  2. I think Little stood out early in camp, but hasn't shown much since. Can't see how he would make the roster. But, I think there are players they want to succeed more than others. I think they want Lewis to succeed to where they can put him on the roster more so than Boykin for the type of player he is. Having a 6'4" WR with exceptional high-point ability is awfully handy. I'm hoping (and expecting) Lewis to be given plenty of opportunities today. But, as it stands, it seems pretty obvious that Goodwin is the most likely #3. And, who knows? Maybe this is his year.
  3. Hey, Marcel, did you give Goodell Naw, Karlos. I didn't think I'd pass, that urine sample he wanted? so I gave him yours...
  4. This is the year we make the playoffs.
  5. Was Karlos weed, as well?
  6. This will be the year we make the playoffs.
  7. not sure what you mean by this. I understand that Connor was a Rex favorite. But, he was a good player, and ended up being cut. Baby Gronk stinks.
  8. I love sarcasm.
  9. I believe that kept Fisher so that they could do this season of Hard Knocks. It's branding. There is a very small chance that Fisher won't be gone by the end of the season.
  10. I'm totally jacked. I love watching for the underdogs, and seeing who, if any, step up. Really hoping Kujo takes the next step (and, yeah, I know it has to be a big one), but I think he can. Also, really hoping that Striker, Zimmer, and Wilder Jr. all bring it. All three have such great athleticism, it would be an excellent thing if they could translate that to their respective positions. Looking forward to Cardale, too. Should be fun to watch, when it doesn't matter.
  11. I think both of these sentences are true. Ironically, that is why the kept Fisher this season. "The league is doing whatever it can to help the Rams succeed in LA"-- financially. I believe that Hard Knocks is a big part of that. LA is soaking up Hard Knocks, and if Fisher were gone, they would not be eligible. Fisher is GONE next season, barring some miracle.
  12. Ive been living in LA for 25 years, now. I am of the opinion that the only reason Fisher is still HC is so that they would be eligible for Hard Knocks his year, to help solidify their new fan base. If Fisher doesn't turn it around this season ( which is highly unlikely), he is G O N E. I think he knows this, too. His "pep talks" sound utterly hollow. He doesn't believe his own pitch. Goff is D U M B. Holy smokes! My six-year-old knows that the sun rises in the East, and sets in the West! Their receiver situation is a disaster. There's a scene where Goff works late with Britt on a throw to the EZ, and they looked absolutely pedestrian. And, Britt is the best they've got! BTW- Where was Keenum? They showed his face maybe twice, and mentioned him once. Not a lot of exposure for their supposed starter. Man, Gurley looks good! Not very impressed with the first episode. Very thin on content. It seemed like they didn't have much for the editors to work with-- lots of padding, slo-mo, montages, etc. Hopefully, they'll get a little deeper. So stoked for week 5 vs Bills!
  13. It should be interesting to see what happens in LA. They mortgaged the farm to draft Goff. They have a sketchy O-line- some coming off serious injury. Their #1 WRs are Kenny Britt and Tavon Austin. Beyond that, they have a stable of rookies at WR and TE. If Goff gets thrown out there early, as many suspect will happen, he gets pummeled and turns into Trent Edwards, then what?.
  14. They collided while both watching the ball. That's what pads are for, actually.
  15. yep. According to Graham, one of the problems he had last season was with communication after Aaron went down- communication between safeties, who play on a string in Rex's scheme, being of paramount importance. If we take him at his word (I do), then it's important for Graham/Blanton to have as many reps as possible before the season opener.
  16. This is probably nothing, and if it weren't IK, we wouldn't be talking about it, obviously. That being said, I suspect that in a straight fight, Kujo would clean IK's clock.
  17. Pats* fans do not acknowledge the cheating that has occurred in their franchise, EVER. My wife, and her entire family are from Boston, and my brother lives in Lynn. (He's a Bills fan.) The closest they will ever come is to parrot the tired line, "all teams cheat..." As far as why a Pats* fan would be on a Bills board, have you ever been to the Pats* fan forum? Good God!!! The football IQ is not what it is on here. It really isn't.
  18. Sorry to hear about your avatar, YOLO. Maybe this one would work?
  19. Weird. I didn't even notice that I was doing the same thing until you pointed it out.
  20. This is good news. Spikes was decent against the run, as I recall. And, maybe a good switch out with Striker, as well? Spikes for obvious run downs, Striker for obvious passing downs?
  21. Life... don't tell me about life...
  22. I was wondering if people feel that AW is just not going to return to form, hence the high votes for Blanton.
  23. No he didn't. That is a common quote taken completely out of context. In my opinion, that is a completely loaded take. You're cherry picking quotes to suit your thesis. You don't want to "discount the eye roll," yet you are willing to attach your own meaning to it, and you're willing to discount other things that he actually said. For example, he also talked about how he was given a role, and worked as hard as he could to fill that role. If anything, Hogan was being kind in that interview, in my humble opinion. (And, correct me if I'm wrong: I do not recall reading anything that would suggest he was anything but a positive influence in the locker room.)
  24. Did you even read the article? What, exactly, did you find offensive about the answers he gave to direct questions? You think the Bills did him a favor by hiring him? You don't think he worked hard as a Bill?
