  1. This board is starting to achieve the tenor of offseason. Threads like this should just die on the vine.
  2. Along with the flag that he didn't get for roughing the kicker, I would like to know why he didn't get an unsportsmanlike conduct for mad-dogging our coach.
  3. Poignant. Well done.
  4. He's tipped his hand, people. This is parody. Also, if we had lost that game to Arizona, we'd have a better chance at the playoffs.
  5. You don't honestly believe this. You dishonestly believe this.
  6. Coming into this discussion a little late, so I apologize if this has already been said, BUT... Easily half of TT's missed passes should have been caught, and would have been by a decent stable of receivers. Clay, Powell, Tate, and Hunter all had some egregious dropped balls. Would we be having this same conversation if TT had thrown 28/38 for 270+ yards? It's so easy to point at a single player, or coach, and say, "there's the problem." IMHO, TT wasn't the only problem, today. Not even close. You could put Dale Earnhardt Jr. behind the wheel of a 1964 Volkswagen Beetle and he's not going to win a lot of races. There are plenty of problems with this football team, at the moment, and Tyrod Taylor is the best QB we've had in a long time.
  7. I get it shipped to me in LA once in a while. But NOTHING beats getting a Wing & Mac Snack fresh at the restaurant, which, sadly, only exists now on Mt. Hope Ave.
  8. God, how I love Country Sweet. When I come to Rochester to visit family, sometimes it is my first stop.
  9. Wait a minute. Did I miss something? Is Woods OUT? How did you figure OUT that Hunter is our #1? I've seen him work well on the OUTside, but he's only caught 3 passes. I don't think our WRs are as OUT-matched as you think. Sure, with Sammy, and Salas being OUT, other guys have had to step up. But, O'Leary has stood OUT in the past couple games, and should get more targets, and I honestly believe that Goodwin's numbers have been less than OUTstanding as a result of the type of rOUTes he has been assigned- throws which TT has had trouble making. And, of course, our run game has been stOUT.
  10. Not to mention his catches. We've seen Clay become a bigger part of this offense, and finally be used as the "all purpose TE" that he was sold as. Now we get O'Leary stepping up, and we've got something going. If Woods is even limited, O'Leary should get more targets. Let it be!
  11. Tanny on the run Looking for Jarvis Landry Drop him on the turf
  12. Well, just go ahead and pat yourself on the back for being one of those who are "in the know." Congrats.
  13. Giving credit where credit is due: Tyrod's fumble was the result of a really awesome defensive play by whoever that was on the 49er's D. Hey, here's another thought: Can we get rid of Jonathan Williams, and bring back Karlos from whichever PS he was signed to?
  14. YES! Felton, and Miller, especially. Incredible. BTW- I can't remember the play, but Shady had one helluva good block, today, as well. I wish I could remember when the play was.
  15. If you don't understand that black lives have been treated differently in our society-- differently by the police, by the judicial system, by the prison system, and by the media-- and that those differences are unfavorable towards the black community, then you truly have no capacity to understand the BLM movement. I know that's a hard pill to swallow. Sorry. Please, feel free to take the last word on this. I think I know already about what your response will be, but have at it, if you want. I have no desire to engage in this debate on this site. I will read your response, but am unlikely to continue the conversation. Not here.
  16. I agree with almost all of this except for one thing: 5) The refs missed calls all day for both teams. And, I really didn't mind. Let the guys play, I say. I loved the play where the crowd was calling for the flag against the 49ers for a late hit on Tyrod, but the flag was not thrown. I loved the play because Tyrod-- the epitome of sportsmanship-- Immediately got up up, got in the defender's face, and apparently said something to the effect of, "it's all good, I know you weren't trying to hit me..." (I gave no idea what his words were. You could just tell by his smile, and demeanor, what the crux of the conversation was.)
  17. He did not look like the same player when he returned from the game after suffering injury. Up until that point, however, I was pretty impressed.
  18. I suppose that you could consider the notion that black lives matter just as much as white lives to be a racist agenda. I still support the idea. So, who's been lampooning you?
  19. Wait a minute. you mean Kaep is starting at quarterback??? I thought it was color guard. Anyway, I think Gabbert won the QB position in the offseason on his own merits. I think they saw him as offering the more balanced alternative, and they were probably right. Gabberts' rushing yards have about equaled TT's. And, I think that is what really works in Kelly's system. Keap is a better runner, sure. But, Gabbert's no slouch, and he's certainly a more accurate passer. Kaep's issue is with has accuracy, and field reads, which also tends to inspire him to break the pocket and take off too early. At least, that is how I understand it. Did Roman game plan for his deficiencies? I would think, probably. But, I don't think there is a return for Kaep to his previous glory (2012, was it?). He either fixes his passing issues, or he's done as a starter after this season, IMO. You can't exist as a running threat QB, without having at least a mediocre passing game.
  20. I think there are quite a few Raiders fans in Southern California (I know several of them) who would disagree with you!
  21. There really isn't another city in the country that is as much of a destination for something like an NFL away game. If the Bills play the Cardinals, would I go to Phoenix? I was there for a week, once. Jeezus, what a sweltering shiat-hole! Oakland? SF? Nice enough towns. Plenty to do, if you go looking, just like every other city. But, Vegas? C'mon! An afternoon game, and a show in the evening, followed by partying until about 9:00am the next morning, and then doing the OJ through the airport to catch your plane? (I just dated myself. Remember that commercial from the '70s? "Go OJ!") Kirby's right about the length of stay, though. I worked on a movie there for five weeks, once, and it nearly ended my life. But, if the crowd that showed up to the LA Memorial Coliseum last Sunday showed up in Vegas... I can't even imagine. That would be a fun party.
