  1. That's the magic of motion picture.
  2. I don't generally go out for the emoji thing, but
  3. Nah, that's not trolling. It's just reaching. Really, really far reaching. But, if Taylor is a "bench dweller," then so are at least a third of the starting QBs in this league.
  4. Blithe insults peppered into straw man arguments masquerading as debate, but designed to elicit an emotional response for your own gratification is, indeed, trolling.
  5. Rolling blunts, and chatting up porn stars should make him an honorary Bill even if we don't sign him.
  6. That's DOPE! (er.. I mean DOPEY)
  7. Because Bucky Brooks said so???
  8. Wasn't that Duke Williams?
  9. See? He showed restraint! Sign him up and give him a football!
  10. This is the problem that other posters have pointed out about you. You draw conclusions about other posters not based on what they say, but based on the argument you want to have. Be that as it may, regardless of how I, or anyone else may feel about TT (I'm fairly lukewarm on him, myself, but do feel that it was our best option to keep him), to equate him with Losman/Edwards/Manuel, and denigrate those who support him as the current starter is cheap trolling, and as I said, dumb.
  11. Ahh, that would explain why he said AK-47, and not a Remington 11-87.
  12. Yeah, I guess that's a thing... But, this was in Mississippi. If you ask someone from Mississippi if they're carrying a gun, they'll answer, "I've got my pants on, don't I?"
  13. That's maybe the dumbest thing you've written.
  14. In all honesty, I'm not sure why everyone is collectively clutching their pearls over Kelly's off-field issues. From what I understand, his big character issue is that he is a hothead. So what? None of his transgressions have been drug related. He has not been accused of alcoholism. To me, the biggest issues are the ACL replacements, which will keep him from being drafted. No team would draft a questionable rookie who can't attend training camp (except for the Bills, of course). Sign him as a UDFA and stick him on the PS. If he can handle it, great. If not, sayonara.
  15. UDFA and stick him on the PS?
  16. High risk/high reward vs. low risk/low reward. Do you think it is possible that TT would risk $10mil to be a starter? And, do you think it is possible that TT saw Buffalo as his best chance at being a starter?
  17. Let's be clear about what I said. I was responding to your assertion that, "It is beyond me that anyone can honestly say EJ is better than TJ. EJ is an automatic loss if he starts." Did I say EJ was a good QB? NO. Do I think TJ is a good QB? NO. Do I think one is better than the other? I don't really know the answer to that question. But, I do know this: TJ Yeats' stats suck donkey balls. And, if somebody drew the conclusion that EJ > TJ, I can certainly understand why, and I don't understand how that would be "beyond you." His numbers are better, period. If somebody thinks that TJ > EJ, I'd love to know the rationale, and "EJ is just a bad QB" doesn't cut it.
  18. Remember when Kujo was called "Venus De Milo" by the O-line coach during his rookie season?
  19. TJ does have a negative TD to Int ratio (6:8). Not much of a sample size, but... yeesh! Really? Look at their numbers: EJ: 17 starts (29 games); 19 TDs, 15 Ints; 58.3 completion %; 77.5 career rating TJ: 7 starts (18 games); 6 TDs, 8 Ints; 58.1 completion %; 72.8 career rating And, please don't tell some malarkey about the "eyeball test," or some such nonsense, unless you can honestly tell me you're an avid Houston fan and never miss a game with TJ under center. I think I would give Cardale the edge on that competition.
  20. My suspicion, as well.
  21. There are no facts.
  22. No, I get it. My point was that there isn't one of these QBs on whom I would hang my hat. And, none that I would want us to take in the first two rounds. After that, I would defer to McD/Whaley (an apparent sin on these boards, I know!) as to whom they felt was the best fit-- even if all of them were left. But, I still want them to draft a QB, mid-round. For some weird, emotional reason, I kinda hope that Trubisky, Mahommes, Watson, and Kizer are all gone by round three, and we get Kelly in round #5. That would make me smile.
  23. Or, make sure someone on the opposing team gets the ball. He has throw 8 career interceptions to 6 touchdowns.
  24. Because he is virtually guaranteed to be the Bills starter. And, who said that another team was offering him more than his current Bills contract? Who said he had been offered the starting job somewhere else? If he lights it up, and becomes the franchise guy, he increases his value, and can renegotiate a better contract, or sign somewhere else in three years. The point I was debating with Old School was whether there was interest from other teams, and whether he had other options. OS implied there weren't any, and I disagree. I think you have a tendency to read others' post through the lens of your own agenda, which, currently, is distinctly anti-Tyrod.
