  1. The lengths you will go to not admit you are wrong is hysterical.
  2. I hear Cutler has a glass jaw. And Jim's is titanium, or some sort of alloy or something.
  3. 1) Unless you have some inside knowledge, this is pure speculation. The competition for a qualified HC this offseason is pretty huge. There are a lot of HC vacancies. 2) I keep hearing that this "decision is already made," but I am skeptical. At the end of the day, we may very likely have no better option. 3) I'm not so sure that Gilmore's value is as high as he thinks it is. I agree with a previous poster that this is a coin flip. Be that as it may, I will indeed feel sick if he lands in Miami. 4) Jay Cutler??? 5) By this yardstick, we could say that last year was a downer for FA, but it wasn't. 6) Despite his "sophomore slump," Darby is, IMO, a solid #1 corner. Kevon Seymour as our #2? FA pick-up? Or maybe it is our #1 pick. I wouldn't be too upset by any of this. 7) Let Woods go. Too many dropped balls, and not enough production. I've never understood the love for him. I've always thought he was mediocre. But, keep Zach. 8) This is probably true, but there is just way too much that can happen. I'll be hopeful until I'm not.
  4. But he has the best hard count in the league...
  5. Some of us are on the fence, and didn't vote. Or, maybe I'm the only one. Either way, it drops the total below 100%.
  6. I disagree. (In theory, at least) There is, IMO, a common misconception (or perhaps just a rhetorical oversight) that players don't improve from year to year. Will Kevon Seymour be a better player next year? John Miller? Nick O'Leary? Kujo? Jonathon Williams? Shaq Lawson? Justin Hunter? Plus the return of Raglund? Even Charles Clay looked a hell of a lot better towards the end of this season than he has with us previously. Will we have (finally) a healthy Sammy? Will Dez Lewis start to see his potential? And, we have in the last few years done pretty damned well in free agency. Way too early to be crapping on next season, dude.
  7. Pretty harsh to have him ejaculated from the game. They should have just thrown a flag for illegal use of the hands. Or maybe roughing the pisser.
  8. I would love to fire Rex, but I don't want to be in the same position as the Rams, where the interview process is just starting. I also don't like that we have the Rams, and the Jags to compete with for a decent coach. If we fire Rex, I want a HC who can get us to the playoffs next season. Or, at leaf give us a winning season out of the box. I can't stomach another "rebuilding year." I would imagine that getting to the playoffs would change a lot of minds about Rex.
  9. Welcome to the board, I guess...
  10. Cleveland has too much on the line here. They are on the verge of making history, and joining only one other team with a perfect season record. As much as the Bills might want to mess that up for them, the Browns just have too much to lose. Or, too much to win, not to lose. Or something like that.
  11. I don't want to sound like a Tyrod apologist here, but... Tyrod's failure is Rex Ryan's failure. TT actually had some good throws today, and there were a lot of dropped balls, and poorly run routes. It's not from any lack of talent, including TT. It is from a lack of chemistry, and that lands on Rex, IMO. Rex's stubborn adherence to a run heavy offense has come at the expense of the passing game, as opposed to enabling the passing game, as should be the desired effect. And, can we now put to rest any notion of Rex Ryan, or his baffoon of a brother being defensive geniuses? Defense was their calling card. And, they're terrible at it. TERRIBLE!
  12. I don't see TT getting benched before we are mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. I think that is also unlikely, but if it happens late in the season, it won't be EJ. It would be fun to see what Cardale would do.
  13. My list would come down to: Lorax Hughs Shady Robey-Coleman Kyle But, I'm hoping someday it will be Cardale.
  14. I clicked on that link, and now I'm getting that same rug advertised to me on my Facebook feed. Thanks a lot...
  15. 28-27 Bills win by a pinky.
  16. I love these sorts of stats, and they really do make the discussion interesting. That being said, their pure objectivity can be deceiving, and no one should be too quick to draw conclusions from these things. Obviously, there are variables missing. For example, QBs are more likely to make a bad throw when they have poor protection and are more likely to have DEs bearing down on them. Ryan Tannehill is #5 on this list. In the end, subjectivity matters.
  17. The slot machines alone would pay for it. (edit: I'm being snarky, not literal.)
  18. And with the construction infrastructure they have, they could build it in about a week and a half.
  19. I voted "other," because I'm hoping the other Tyrod Taylor plays.
  20. Tyrod looked to have lost a step yesterday. That one big hit really affected him, especially. I don't think Burfect could have gotten to him earlier in the season.
  21. Are you suggesting that the drop off in ratings is due to the disparities between fines for different rule infractions between different players? Or is it merely due to Goodell's salary? And, when you say "unwatchable watered-down product," what precisely are you referring to? The flags thrown? Too many rules? Or is it the attempt to limit injuries? Or, perhaps, it is the lack of injuries themselves that has you down?
  22. This board is starting to achieve the tenor of offseason. Threads like this should just die on the vine.
  23. Along with the flag that he didn't get for roughing the kicker, I would like to know why he didn't get an unsportsmanlike conduct for mad-dogging our coach.
