I agree with this. There were many head-scratching moments this season regarding personnel. I think the Dareus trade was less controversial than some of the others, but this is a game where he will be missed. But as far as his impact in this game- he isn’t a starter. I’m not sure I would put their improvements solely on his shoulders.

So, a thread about Marcel Dareus, and our run D immediately tries to turn into another TT bashing thread. I think I will just have to avoid this site, altogether, today...

There were quite a few people on this site who, not even halfway into the season, were hoping we would tank for the sake of a high draft pick. I never bothered to take note of the names of these posters because I utterly disagreed with such malarkey. But the disappointment among some that we made it into the postseason is palpable on this thread, especially. No one is going to admit their disappointment, of course (even to themselves, I suspect), but the attitude seems to make its way into every thread. It's a bit sickening, and a real drag to endure. I still go to this site every day-- there are quite a few educated, and insightful posters around here. But, the constant parade of Tyrod haters pissing in the well is tiresome.

You're missing the point. The O-line was getting blown up for four quarters. The Bills played better with TT at the helm.

Yes, they came out for the second half and played with intensity. Taylor has the ability to escape the pocket and extend plays, and he did that. You, and Buffalo2218, can try to weirdly rewrite history to fit you agenda. But, it just looks silly. Anyone who thinks that Taylor wasn't A LOT better than Peterman in the second half of that game is delusional.

Since when does garbage time start at the beginning of the second half?

It seems to me that his stat line against the same team in the second half of the same game is a bit more relevant.

How far do you have to stretch to not give Taylor any credit that he is due? I didn't see the Chargers "let off the gas." They were pumped.

IMO, it's an all-too-common mistake to look at our QB woes from the perspective of Brady, and the Evil Lord who coaches him. I truly wish that I could respect those two, being the GOATs that they are. Were they not such cheating scum... Also, I don't believe that anyone who knew what they were talking labeled Goff a bust. His rookie season was abysmal. But, his issues were more on Fisher, and his mishandling of his team than Goff being a bust. And had the Rams not spent so much on the pick, no one would have used the word 'bust' at all. And the proof is in the pudding. Goff is a franchise guy. But, your point is well taken. The difference between Fisher, and co, and McVay and co, is the difference between winning, and losing. Dennison stinks. Get rid of him.

I agree with all of this. At 53, I'm one of the younger fans on this site (jk!), and I was just a kid in the seventies. Maybe I'm looking at the past through rose colored glasses, but the Bills/Dolphins rivalry felt more like Rocky vs Apollo Creed, whereas the current Bills/Pats* rivalry feels more like Rocky vs Ivan Drago. It sure would be satisfying to watch a Drago beat-down tomorrow. You get a sense that the Pats* view themselves as having 31 rivals.

Well. we beat the Dolphins, and the Dolphins beat the Patriots*. Ergo, we must be better than the Patriots*. That's the way it works, right?
