  1. Well, to be fair, you kinda brought it upon yourself. You managed to submit the absolute dumbest post in an exceedingly dumb thread. Personally, I say BRAVO!
  2. Really????? I know Peterman didn't look terrible battling the snow when the Colts came. But, sheesh, he looked terrible in LA! And, Taylor played the second half and the difference was stark! Does anyone think that some team would offer us a trade for Peterman?
  3. Well, one thing this $6mil bonus signals, for those who think Peterman is a better option than Tyrod, is that McD, et al, do not.
  4. Is this really such a simple question?????
  5. Then, I assume, it doesn't phase you in the slightest when someone kneels during the anthem, if standing is meaningless?
  6. You added the word "political." But, of course standing for the National Anthem is a statement. Otherwise, what's the point? And, why would anyone care when someone didn't? If kneeling is a statement, then so is standing. Unless, of course, we, or the players are forced to stand. Then, it becomes meaningless. Also, if posters on this board needed excuses to voice their opinions, you'd better have a whole lot of them!
  7. Yes, seriously. We all make a statement when we stand for the National Anthem. Does that not fit your narrative?
  8. I, too, am allowed to wear any sort of political T-shirt, or whatever, while at work (as long as it is not obscene, or otherwise inappropriate), but I'm not sure that qualifies as an "action," per se. It certainly wouldn't affect my job in any way. Be that as it may, I have also never been asked to stand for the National Anthem while at work, and I'm not sure that I would capitulate if I were. Also, wouldn't standing for the National Anthem be every bit as much a political statement as kneeling for it?
  9. The above article seems like a much more reasoned take than the below comment.
  10. Yes, I meant Watkins
  11. Yes, but doesn't every thread turn into a Tyrod thread?
  12. I like the premise of this poll, but I declined to vote because the options are too specific. I probably would have gone for option B, with D being a close second, except that I think there are other trade scenarios available to us that I would feel better about. I also wouldn't mind us staying put, but don't necessarily agree with the draft choices.
  13. I would assume that the FO, or any QB candidate, FA or draftee, would not spend a lot of time analyzing the fan's opinions. It would be a pointless endeavor, and I would assume that Buffalo is not alone in the unhinged fervency its fan base adopts when a section of that fan base draws its ironclad conclusions about a QB.
  14. My point is that we have enough draft capital to trade up this year into the top 5 without mortgaging the future the way we did for Watson. We're not likely to have that opportunity in 2019.
  15. Despite the wishes of some around here, we didn't tank this year. We're not going to tank next year, either. In this draft, we have more draft capital than I can ever remember having. There are at least seven teams ahead of us in the draft who need a QB. If there was a year to trade up for a QB, this is it. Otherwise, do we spend the the next decade rolling the dice on the likes of EJ Manuel, or Nate Peterman hoping for a "diamond in the rough?" I hope not.
  16. What if Shady were part of a package to trade up with the Browns, who also need a running back? Browns draft 1st and 4th. If we wait until 21st, who will be left?
  17. Are the Bills working on a Tre White/Zay Jones hybrid in a lab somewhere? 'Cuz that would be cool!
  18. I'm slightly surprised that, as of this post, almost 20% of respondents would have preferred we miss the playoffs. I would have guessed closer to 10%.
  19. As I read this, I wonder if, along with monetary incentives, Kraft* didn't express a desire for McDaniels* to succeed Bellichick* upon his retirement, which one would assume would coincide with Brady's* retirement?
  20. It's cheaper than that Bills @ Chargers game I spent good money to see! EDIT: And I'll bet the beer is cheaper, too!
  21. When asked about the incident, afterwards:
  22. I know they showed the replay about a dozen too many times, but the fact that Brady* dropped the pass on that trick play, and then Foles smoked them for a TD on, essentially, the exact same play is one of the greatest moments of this miserable year so far.
