It's your check book. (I blame your parents.) -

I'm 54, and we do our banking online. Be that as it may, take a joke. -

Who the hell uses a checkbook anymore? What’re you guys in your 80s? (80s is the new 70s, btw.) -
I have to say that to some degree, Late Nate has won me over. To a degree. Which is to say that I no longer hold a deep grudge for having paid so much $$$ for great seats at Stubhub Center vs the Chargers. He’s not great, and his flaws are overt. But, so are his strengths. Nor do I believe his flaws are completely insurmountable. Most of them, anyway. But, the bottom line is this: Allen excelling, and exceeding expectations, as he seems to be doing, is the best case scenario. And, we could do worse than Nate as his backup. (Hell, we HAVE done worse.) Especially if he continues to work on his flaws, which by all indications, he will. There. I said it. I am no longer a Nate Hater. (I just hope he doesn’t start week one.)

I'm probably described as a "Nate Hater," (because I sorta am...) but there's a lot wrong with this post. I'm not even sure what "zero presence on the field" means. I also question him having limited mobility in the pocket (outside the pocket, sure). And, I definitely do not think he telegraphs his passes. In fact, I think the opposite is one of his strengths. Finally, to say "he has no strengths" is absurd. He has several that even his biggest detractors acknowledge.

Bills injury updates - Training Camp/Preseason
Rocky Landing replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is actually why I think game four is important-- for the scrubs. I also think this is a good reason to only have one cut-down date from 90 to 53. Other teams are watching game four more than we are. They want to see someone shine in a position of need for them. In that respect, it makes for a pretty fun battle IMO between people trying desperately to keep their NFL dreams alive. -
Can we afford to carry 3 active QB’s all season?
Rocky Landing replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think the #1 reason we might want to find a new #3 is our O-line. They stink. Be that as it may, I won't be surprised in the slightest if we go with Allen/Peterman, or (hopefully not), Peterman/Allen. Hmmm. It just now occurs to me that this is my first post in which I have expressed a hope that Allen starts the season. Up until last night, I was very much of the mind that Allen should sit for several games, at least. I wonder how many other fans, like myself, have changed their mind after yesterday? I have three reasons for my change of heart: 1) McCarron is out. 2) Allen looked really good, and confident. 3) The idea of Peterman starting depresses me. I don't think he will do well against the Raven, or any DC who has game planned for him. Also, I wonder if this development (assuming we now roll with two QBs), raises Logan Thomas's stock? -

We griped about Ducasse all last year. He's a tree stump. -

The thing about O'Leary is that he is clutch. Always has been. -
As Bills fans, we should never lose our sense of humor. In that way, when we become the dominant team in the AFCE, we won't turn into Pats* fans.

YES!!! The playoff drought is really over! And, a brand new one has begun! This one will be even better than the last one!

Hard Knocks kinda made him look like an unhinged diva with a shoe fetish. Which I'm cool with. But, really, it must be frustrating as hell to come out of college as a first round pick, with tons of potential, and get stuck into the most dysfunctional team in the NFL. I think he could be a great WR, and great pickup for the Bills. I'm psyched to see what he can do with what I have to believe is a substantial chip on his shoulder.
