  1. Still the best way I have found to get my family to leave me the hell alone for three hours on a Sunday.
  2. Oh my ever loving God,... somebody is still arguing to allow Peterman back on the field???
  3. Hmm... Peterman, and Ducasse both have similar sores on their lips...
  4. Once again, Nathan Peterman is one injury away from seeing the field.
  5. I can't believe I'm in the position of hoping that Derek Anderson starts.
  6. The Texans are playing in Jacksonville next week. Let's hope they're looking ahead like the Vikes probably were.
  7. With the pass rush Allen is going to face, and the weakness of our O-line, Allen should get the ball out of his hands fast. He's not going to get a lot of time to go through reads. I'm expecting a lot of designed short yardage throws to Shady, and Ray Ray. I hope they get Ivory in the passing game, as well. I'm sure not expecting a lot of production out of KB, unless our O-line really surprises and affords Allen more time in the pocket than would be expected. It sure would be nice to see Foster get open downfield, Allen not under throw him, and actually catch the ball. That would be fun to see. Likely? Probably not...
  8. I'll jerk my knees if I feel like it.
  9. Derek Anderson's career average QB rating is 71.1. In the three games he played for Carolina in 2017, he averaged a QB Rating of 39.6. Nathan Peterman will never be that good.
  10. Shady for Jason Kelse, or Brandon Brooks, and a later round pick?
  11. You’re very mistaken if you think that Derek Anderson is being brought is to replace Allen. And, no offense, but the rest of your post isn’t worth commenting on.
  12. The optics of Peterman wearing a Bills uniform are not good.
  13. ONE decent wide receiver who can be a downfield threat, and two decent guards, and we're a playoff caliber team. At least, that's my drunken, post-win, hot-take opinion.
  14. McCoy was great, today. And, with Ivory, we had a perfectly balanced run game-- exactly the one-two punch we were hoping for. And, our receivers stepped up today, as well. Even KB (who is so obviously not a #1) worked hard, and laid down some solid blocking when called upon. What we desperately lack is a downfield threat.
  15. Along with some actual production (for a change), he came up with a few decent blocks.
  16. If I were a GM, I might hire an assistant coach (or even an entire staff) just to consult with the other coaches regarding the officiating team that will be handling the next game, and hoe that might affect the game plan. More than any other season I can remember, the officiating, from game to game, is all over the board.
  17. He threw some crappy passes today, but he is developing so well. Imagine how good he's going to be by the end of the season. Everything about his game is getting better. Interesting how similar the first drive of this game was to the first drive of the Vikes game. Both benefitted from an opposing team's mistake. Both used a balanced offense that moved the chains. Both ended with an Allen Superman dive. And, both disrupted the opposing team's defensive scheme for the rest of the game.
  18. I don't mind a defensive-minded HC. It's the crappy OC that we need to look at. I was disappointed when Daboll took his foot of the gas in the second half of the Vikes game. But, I couldn't argue with the results. But, the offensive play calling at Lambeau was terrible. If someone is in disagreement with that statement, I would like to know the reasoning. I'm completely confused by the whole thing, really. The difference in play-calling between the first half of the Vikings game and the entirety of the Packers game is bizarre to me. The Vikings game was marked by well-designed plays that used the whole field, played to Allen's strengths, and took away Minnesota's defensive scheme in the first drive. Versus the Packers, there was barely a well executed play to be had. What the hell???
  19. Wait a minute... isn't Charles Clay one of our most reliable receivers? I haven't even bothered to look at the stats, but every game I see him real in catches that our wide receivers drop. Is this another "we should tank" thread?
  20. Some absolutely blatant holding not called. Not that it really matters. The game wasn't close.
  21. I guess we can't move Lewis to WR.
