  1. You don't work in the arts. And, apparently, you have no passion for your career. The kindest thing I can say about this post is that you clearly don't have the perspective to judge others' life choices.
  2. Nah. If the Bills win their first five games, the national media will jump all over it, and call them a "sleeper team" until they lose their next two, at which point they'll stop talking about it, because they would have to admit they were wrong. Plus, they will have forgotten what they said in the first place. This is very much a "what have you done lately" sort of league. Just look at what they're saying about the Browns.
  3. "How long before I get my own parking space?"
  4. I mentioned something similar in another thread, and I obviously can't speak for the team, but: I can't remember when the fanbase has been this united behind a quarterback for the Bills. I thought, maybe Kelly. But, as an older poster pointed out to me-- even Kelly had his detractors while he was playing, and I can understand why. But, going back through the years: Tyrod, Fitz, Trent, Orton, EJ, Losman... I remember people bagging on Bledsoe. I was skeptical as hell when they drafted Allen. But, man, am I on board now. If there's anyone who thinks we should be going a different direction at QB, please, chime in. I'm not sure you exist. BTW- I effing love Kyle Williams.
  5. I guess the only reason that the Bills have had 100% attendance for their voluntary OTAs (even the old vets, who are injured, and not participating), is because they're all saps. LOSERS with no life, and nothing better to do. Chumps. I wish I had never become a Bills fan. There could be no other explanation since, May is meaningless. But, of course, I'm just being silly.
  6. Well, we could talk about that, I 'suppose...
  7. Something new to talk about!!!
  8. You don’t know me. Ive been racing with a crew on a sailboat for ten years, and I’ve never made a dime. I work in the motion picture industry, and over the years I’ve done countless “spec” jobs (freebies) for numerous reasons, including that of letting people know my work ethic, and dedication to those I work with, and the profession we have chosen. I met my wife on a month-long freebie that a colleague directed. OBJ ain’t an office clerk. He’s a teammate.
  9. A lot of people weren't aware, but Feliciano was the Raiders backup center during his time there.
  10. I love how Zay spent a good portion of the offseason on his upper body, also. I think one of the knocks on him has been his ability to fight for the ball in tight coverage. Increasing his upper body strength should certainly help.
  11. This is the best interview I have seen in a long, long time. How can you not be a fan of this guy? Honestly, when is that last time the Bills fanbase was as united behind their quarterback? Kelly?
  12. I say this every year! Yay, we're winning the offseason!
  13. No reason to ignore improvement, but I was debating HappyDays, and the amount they improved was a separate discussion from the point I was trying to make. I think they have both improved considerably. Be that as it may, I suspect that currently Zay is a more complete receiver, putting him slightly ahead of Foster. I could very well be wrong, of course. It's all conjecture at this time of year. But, I think that by the end of the season, HappyDay's statement that Zay "has zero ability to make plays happen all on his own," is dead wrong. Zay made some great clutch plays last season, and ran some well-designed crossing routes that got him wide open. I would not suggest for a second that Foster won't improve, or is anywhere near his ceiling. And, again, I believe they will both make the 53.
  14. Even the guys who are injured are present, I believe.
  15. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the Bills have 100% attendance for OTAs. right?
  16. We’ll be on the edge of our seats.
  17. Even if he would be a slight upgrade, it would be better to continue to develop Wallace, IMO. If Norman is still elite, he’s on his way down, and Wallace— and the two Johnson’s, for that matter— are on their way up. There’s a lot to be said for consistency. We’re building our D backfield on last season’s foundation, and will continue to build into next year. Norman would be a one-year stopgap, where no stopgap is needed.
  18. Ignoring, for the moment, how each of these WRs improved by the end of last season (they both certainly did), which of the two would you consider the most versatile?
  19. On some days, my favorite player is Reid Ferguson. I mean, seriously, what a nice life!
  20. I think this thread does not have long to live.
  21. Again? Yeah, I know I'm being kind of a downer...
  22. I don't see it as cheap at all. I see no reason why we, as fans, should not feel free to critique any element of the team-- be it coaching, personnel decisions, or what have you. But, especially the way the QB situation was handled last season. It was far more than simply cutting AJ. Many fans were screaming about the decision to start Peterman as it was happening. Several fans (I believe Kirby was one of them?) predicted how opposing teams would game plan for him, and it happened with startling accuracy. I get what Shaw66 is selling, and I agree with it. But, the QB management last season is the one thing that gives me pause. Because, it wasn't one mistake. It was a series of mistakes that started in TC, and stretched into midseason. That isn't a cheap observation, IMO.
  23. If nothing else, as a new player to the team, it's a pretty bad look. And it more, or less, substantiates the negative impressions that OBJ has made for himself.
  24. I was actually thinking about this: If Cogs goes out in some blaze of craziness, it will become some A&E, made-for-TV movie.
