  1. Knox looked like Gronkowsky on the catch and run.
  2. I think I can speak for most of the board when I say we like you here.
  3. Hey, Falk, your starting QB, and Brady* were both chosen 199th in their respective drafts! Maybe you guys have a chance?
  4. And why would teams worry about manipulating their cap space if it wasn't a concern? The bottom line is that cap space restricts the amount of assets a team can acquire. If you don't think that's a worry for teams that don't have a lot of cap space, manipulations notwithstanding, then ColoradoBills fan is right-- you don't understand football finances.
  5. Why wouldn't he? Think he prefers to languish on the Bills practice squad?
  6. He could partner with Vontae Davis, and open up a string of aromatherapy wellness spas (just as long as mental wellness wasn't part of the curriculum).
  7. I think this video really highlights the biggest problem with Zay: His limited catch radius. One of the misses in the end zone, and the ball that was thrown slightly behind him would have been caught by a WR with a larger radius. And, two of his catches would have been caught without having to fall down to secure them, giving a better receiver a chance at YAC. That is my honest opinion, although I admit that my opinion has become colored with frustration.
  8. Shall we kick the tires?
  9. Sorry Zay, good coaches, winning coaches, make adjustments all season long.
  10. We know exactly what you're doing, genius.
  11. Taking the high road, I see.
  12. Can't miss what you never had...
  13. This has nothing to do with fleeing the stadium at halftime, before the rest of the team even knows what's happening. Tell the coach you can't play, but don't flee like a coward.
  14. This puffy spin piece is nauseating. Page after page of whiney navel gazing. Not one word of accountability, or even an acknowledgment of how he did, in fact, let his teammates, the Bills organization, and the fans down. The closest it comes is the statement: "At the moment, they were obviously pretty upset," Davis says. "I get it from their perspective. It's such a warrior mentality," which is followed by "And looking back, it's one of the best decisions I've made in my life, honestly," he says. "Because I did something that I knew was the best thing for me." Gross.
  15. Not for nothing, in the first two weeks of this season, we faced two of the top backs in the league.
  16. Well, they'll get plenty of chances. After two weeks, the Pats* have scored 76 points, and allowed 3. I don't imagine the Jets time of possession is going to be particularly long.
  17. Could something like a pass rush be the one, last vestige of the Jets that had so many predicting a playoff birth just a few weeks ago? of course, the Jets have no prayer of winning on Sunday. But, could they perhaps rattle Brady* a little and give him an unpleasant day? Could he enter New Era Field the weekend after next with some amount of trepidation? i honestly can’t remember seeing a team with playoff aspirations disintegrate as quickly as the Jets have this season. Be that as it may, perhaps they have enough fire and anger in them to make Brady* miserable this Sunday?
  18. If that one drop had anything to do with him “losing confidence,” then that drop was not the issue. Be that as it may, Zay has not appeared to be what he was predicted to be out of college, and that is not out of the ordinary.
  19. So he can get a beat down in the shower?
  20. I've been thinking this for a while: We need a real playmaker in a skill position on offense. We’re beautifully deep, as a football team. Our offensive skill positions are consistent. But, we just don't have a marquee player (other than Josh!) on offense-- someone who Josh can throw to in tight coverage, and they'll come down with the ball. Smoke Brown is almost that player, but not quite.
  21. In all likelihood, the Patriots* will have over 100 net points after three weeks.
  22. Zay had two drops today that, IMO, stemmed from his limited catch radius. After returning from the offseason with 15 lbs of added muscle, I was hopeful that would improve, but it has not. If, after the thousands of balls Zay has caught, that element of his game has not improved, it's hard to imagine how it ever will. I strongly suspect Zay has reached his ceiling.
  23. A few thoughts: The QB sweep for our first TD was brilliant play calling. The G-men had a hard time defending us after that play. The Offensive play calling was great all around. Well balanced attack that spread the Giant's D thin. Defensive play calling was also spot on. They adjusted after the first Giants' drive for the TD, and contained Barkley Murphy was excellent, as was Harrison Phillips. The Bills are disciplined. They stay focused, no turnovers, few penalties. So nice to see. Josh Allen is proving himself, big time!
  24. Harry Phillips was damned good. Siran Neal was our best STer. Beasley was as advertised. Poyer... dude is dangerous!
