  1. Just in case it hadn't been posted: Inactive list: TE Tyler Kroft (ankle) LB Corey Thompson (ankle) CB Taron Johnson (hamstring) WR Robert Foster (groin) RB Devin Singletary (hamstring) OL Ike Boettger. OL Ty Nsekhe (ankle)
  2. Anyone notice how many Bills jerseys are in those stands??? I thought we were a "small market" team?
  3. Singletary still inactive, Dang. But, I'm really rooting for Gore to have another good game. I'd really love to see him pass Barry Sanders in a Bills uniform this season.
  4. I don't believe that accuracy is one of his deficits. Throwing people open, throwing with anticipation, sure... those things have been issues. He's also been improving on all of them, IMO.
  5. That would be a moderate to severe deficit-- one which I do not believe he has.
  6. Reasons that I might lose faith in Josh Allen; - If he had not progressed from last season. - If there was a reason to believe that he had reached his ceiling. - If there were moderate, or severe deficits in his game that could not be coached out, or positively addressed. Reasons I would NOT lose faith in Josh Allen: - If he has a bad game. - If he makes a bad throw. - If he hasn't turned into Payton Rothlisbrady in one season. I have not lost faith in Josh Allen.
  7. Also, in the same video that people are calling out in which Allen is throwing to Duke, he is also throwing to Zay.
  8. I don’t believe for a second that particular rumor is true.
  9. I have an employee who’s a Vikings fan, and the rumor in their camp is that it’s Diggs for some picks, and Jerry Hughes. EDIT: Now that I think of it... what the hell is he doing on his computer???
  10. I’ve been having the same thoughts. I’ve suspected that they have spent so much time working on, and practicing the shorter throws, and plays that the long game has gone a bit by the wayside. I also suspect that it’s more a question of timing with his receivers than him losing the ability to throw long with accuracy.
  11. I always lie, and I'm always right.
  12. That could very well be an issue of trust.
  13. Not as odd as seeing lying unconscious on the field.
  14. This has all been said in other threads, and I'm not sure why this hasn't been merged. But, Zay has issues with dropped passes, has poor hands, doesn't highpoint the ball, doesn't contest the ball, has poor situational awareness (doesn't see the defenders around him, and adjust accordingly), and has a woefully limited catch radius. The best thing that can be said about him is that he's versatile, and has a comprehensive route tree, But, for all his versatility, he is mediocre, at best, at all of it, with the possible exception of blocking. And, I don't really hear anyone crowing about his leadership, either. In the draft, he was sold as being "the most NFL-ready" WR in his class, with super reliable hands. That turned out to not be true. And, personally, I look at his play, and his progression through his time in Buffalo, and I suspect that he very well might be about at his ceiling. All of this adds up to someone who does not offer enough, and who will make costly mistakes. And, compound that with the frustration that some feel is a wasted opportunity having Duke Williams on the PS, (I am included in that crowd) who could fill Zay's role without so many limitations, and you can understand why so many want him gone.
  15. I'm not particularly astute, but I'll admit that I was scratching my head at the signing. Happy to say I was wrong.
  16. We're circling the bandwagons.
  17. I’ll take your word that Allen missed Zay three times, although I don’t know which plays you’re referencing. But, it’s completely beside the point. It doesn’t change who Zay is (or isn’t, as the case may be).
  18. Another straw man argument. But, I’ll say this: I’m not ready to move on from Allen. I certainly am ready to move on from Zay.
  19. You’re a total Zay apologist! That throw to Beasley wasn’t even a drop, it hit the turf out of his reach! Seriously! Straw man argument. Allen stunk today. I have not stated otherwise.
  20. Neither Brown nor Beasley have a problem with dropped balls. Zay has a problem with dropped balls. Do you dispute this?
  21. You will deny this, but you are a Zay apologist.
  22. He's not as slow as people make him out to be. He gets judged by his combine numbers, which were terrible. But, he had gone about four months without playing a snap of football, or practicing with a team. His life was at a downward spiral at that time. But, if you watch him on the practice field now, he sure doesn't look any slower than Zay.
  23. Jones will not contest the ball, including on one of Allen's interceptions. Jones, with a defender between him and Allen, ran deep with his arms low to catch it around his hip. The interception is still on Allen, but a better receiver would have cut in to at least try to get above the defender. It's as if Jones is not seeing the defenders around him. And today he was not getting separation. He's a liability, at this point.
