I don't think it has anything to do with your feelings for Duke. Some of us have been talking up Duke since he was acquired, none more adamant than Alphadawg. And, from your responses, I'll guess you disagreed. And, you were wrong. Live with it.
Just in case it hadn't been posted:
Inactive list:
TE Tyler Kroft (ankle)
LB Corey Thompson (ankle)
CB Taron Johnson (hamstring)
WR Robert Foster (groin)
RB Devin Singletary (hamstring)
OL Ike Boettger.
OL Ty Nsekhe (ankle)
Singletary still inactive, Dang. But, I'm really rooting for Gore to have another good game. I'd really love to see him pass Barry Sanders in a Bills uniform this season.
I don't believe that accuracy is one of his deficits. Throwing people open, throwing with anticipation, sure... those things have been issues. He's also been improving on all of them, IMO.
Reasons that I might lose faith in Josh Allen;
- If he had not progressed from last season.
- If there was a reason to believe that he had reached his ceiling.
- If there were moderate, or severe deficits in his game that could not be coached out, or positively addressed.
Reasons I would NOT lose faith in Josh Allen:
- If he has a bad game.
- If he makes a bad throw.
- If he hasn't turned into Payton Rothlisbrady in one season.
I have not lost faith in Josh Allen.
I have an employee who’s a Vikings fan, and the rumor in their camp is that it’s Diggs for some picks, and Jerry Hughes.
EDIT: Now that I think of it... what the hell is he doing on his computer???
I’ve been having the same thoughts. I’ve suspected that they have spent so much time working on, and practicing the shorter throws, and plays that the long game has gone a bit by the wayside. I also suspect that it’s more a question of timing with his receivers than him losing the ability to throw long with accuracy.
