  1. This has been discussed ad nauseam, other than to say that Henderson's previous suspensions for medical marijuana use should not be a consideration in whether the Bills sign him.
  2. Where did you find the word "habitual?" I don't know of any credible source that has described him as "habitual." He had a history of smoking marijuana in college. Do you know who else had a history of smoking marijuana in college? That's a rhetorical question. Millions upon millions of people have smoked weed in college. I smoked weed in college. I'm 55 years old, and I still smoke once in a great while. And, that does not qualify me as "habitual." This is disingenuous. Seantrel smoked marijuana in college. Sure, that would be "prior" to diagnosis, but there is no evidence that he smoked in the NFL for anything other than medical reasons. And, I hope you look at that article I linked. His condition was utterly dire. It's miraculous that he was able to work his way back into the NFL. EDIT: And, I don't know if you've ever smoked yourself, but habitual marijuana use most certainly does not lend itself to the sort of work ethic required to work one's way back from the effects Seantrel suffered-- 50 lbs of weight loss, 2 1/2 feet of intestine removed, four months of crapping into an ileostomy bag attached to a hole in his waist. It's beyond me that anyone would sweat his use of medical marijuana, and not instead just admire his resiliency.
  3. A cop out? What does that even mean? Are you suggesting he was using his Crohn's disease as an excuse to smoke pot? Do you think that he has a substance abuse problem in the vein of Karlos Williams? Because the would be an ignorant assumption. Also, as I recall, he was very straightforward regarding his medical marijuana needs, and use. Read this article on his struggle with the disease, and then tell us how he "copped out." https://www.houstonchronicle.com/sports/texans/article/Seantrel-Henderson-gets-fresh-start-with-Texans-13132409.php
  4. I did a PSA for an organization called the Gridiron Cannabis Coalition a few years ago, and had a pretty lengthy conversation with former Phins RB Ricky Williams. He's quite the activist in that regard. He knew Seantrel personally, and knew a lot about his situation when he was really suffering with the Crohn's Disease. He said the choice for him, at the time, was either the weed, or literally a handful of pills a day. From what I understand, he worked incredibly hard to get himself back into shape after some really brutal surgery that included re-attaching his colon to his rectum, which resulted in him losing 35-40 lbs of muscle. He was a pretty decent RT before the Crohn's sidelined him, and if he's in decent shape, I'd say this is a high-character guy that we'd be happy to have as depth.
  5. Considering how they are using him, his average YPC, the declining number of touches he is getting, and our upcoming schedule, I'm going with the Steelers game, 12/15. Maybe the game after.
  6. I don't think you missed anything, unless you missed the replay of his injury. The fact of the matter is: he's 34, and it looked like he broke his ankle pretty badly. That's a good 12 month recovery, at best. So, he'd be able to get back on the field midway through the 2020 season? As a #2 RT? At 35? I just don't see it happening. He's had a really interesting, and inspiring career. I will remember him for years. But, I strongly suspect that his days as a Buffalo Bills RT are over. ^See above^
  7. I don’t know... With the demise of Ty Nsekhe, and the continued, high-level play of Von Miller, and an otherwise strong Denver defense, I think we’re going to see a fair amount of chip blocking from Smith, and DiMarco. It’s probably not accurate to base the Denver gameplan on what we saw in the Miami gameplan.
  8. That could be a really cool Super Bowl party to go to... if I didn’t hate him.
  9. I have to believe that Ty’s career is over. Damn, that sucks. One of my favorite players on the team. Great attitude, solid RT, and an absolute giant of a man. A great story. One of the people that made it so fun to be a Bills fan this year. And, being a Bills fan hasn’t always been fun. Here’s to you, Ty Nsekhe. I hope we see you on the field again.
  10. Or... we sneak into the wildcard spot, 9-7, and then sweep the playoffs, and beat the Chiefs in the Super Bowl by one Hauschka field goal. Or something.
  11. Josh Allen has been incrementally improving all season. While he hasn't been spectacular, he also hasn't done anything that would indicate he has reached his ceiling, or can't be the franchise player we all hope he will become. He still looks like an average QB who could become great. He has flashes of greatness-- like that wire to Brown for a TD. We have lamented the lack of Allen's long ball, but that throw went 31 yards through the air with about a 3 degree arc, and could not have been placed better. It was also a perfect read of a cover 2, with a nice glance away from the play with a pump fake. In other words, he read the defense. I do still think we are missing a true playmaker-- someone who can really fight for the ball, and make something out of nothing. Maybe Knox can become that. Maybe we don't find that player until next year. But, it would be easy to miss the playoffs this season. I believe it's going to be a tight race for the wild card spot-- the only type of playoff spot that we have been able to hope for the last 20 years. But, if we keep on this trajectory (and Brady* stays on his), next season we will be rooting for division title.
  12. 46 rushing yards to go before passing Barry Sanders! GO GORE!
  13. One of the last things he says is to throw shade on the Bills record. Pretty much how he closed the show.
  14. Miami has outplayed us on special teams in a big way.
  15. Motor may have done Gore a favor with those two fumbles.
  16. I used to actually like him, and had a lot of respect for his game, until he drop-chopped Tre. That was the day that we learned he was a true Patriot*.
  17. Kroft seems like the kind of player that the Pats* would pick up for cheap, and turn into a reasonably productive TE for a season, or two.
  18. I would want the draft to go something like: 1st round: BPA of WR, Edge, LB 2nd round: BPA of WR, Edge, LB 3rd round: BPA of WR, Edge, LB Subsequent rounds: BPA
  19. You don't think that Garrett dragging Rudolf to the ground, even though he didn't have the ball, and keeping him wrapped up on the ground was the inception of this incident?
