Is there a role for Tyler Kroft on the Bills?
Rocky Landing replied to Phil The Thrill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Kroft seems like the kind of player that the Pats* would pick up for cheap, and turn into a reasonably productive TE for a season, or two. -
2020 Draft Position and Potential Targets
Rocky Landing replied to STL-Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would want the draft to go something like: 1st round: BPA of WR, Edge, LB 2nd round: BPA of WR, Edge, LB 3rd round: BPA of WR, Edge, LB Subsequent rounds: BPA -

There is also the question of BPA. I know that WR is a need. But, it's not our only need. Beane, and company have been pretty good about drafting BPA, with our needs in mind. It's very hard to predict who BPA is at the middle of the board, where we will certainly be. But, if there's a better edge rusher than WR, that's what we're going to get. -

Your description of Tyler sounds similar to the descriptions of Zay Jones when he was drafted. I'm not saying this as a bash on Jones, but I don't think its the kind of WR we need. We need a guy with an exceptional catch radius, and high pointing ability. I have more trepidation with guys who are described as "NFL ready" than I do with guys described as "athletic freaks." I feel like I could get behind an athletic freak. -
Quincy Enunwa the latest Jet to put team on blast
Rocky Landing replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As someone who has worked freelance for close to 30 years, my perception is that Enunwa has a legitimate beef, and good reason to be upset, but he really should have kept his mouth, and Twitter account shut. Revenge is a dish best served cold, and quiet. This Twitter tantrum may, or may not hurt his reputation, but it definitely won't help! -

Anyone else think Bills will dominate on Sunday?

Really depends on which Fitz shows up. If it were poor, sad-sack Rosen, we'd beat the snot out of them. -

Ray Rice? -
Well, Gore has 73 yards left to Pass Barry Sanders. He's still on track to reach that milestone. But, he averaged 1.4 ypc on 11 carries the week before last, and only got five carries this last week for 2.4 ypc. That is paltry. He needs a good game vs. Miami this week.

ROCKPILE REIVEW - The Bills Don't Have Quite Enough
Rocky Landing replied to Shaw66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm really not so mad at this game, because there really wasn't anything surprising. I think a lot of Bills fans on here had convinced themselves that "the Brown will always suck," that they were utterly worthy of their 2-6 record, and their win over the Ravens was an "any given Sunday" fluke. But, I think most of us knew that the Bills still have a ways to go. Did we really think that Allen's progression as a QB was complete? Did we think that Knox is suddenly elite? Do we think we suddenly have an elite #1WR? It's the same group of guys out there, slowly improving as a team, but still missing a true playmaker. -

I thing it's going to come down to which team scores more points. -

Maybe some tech savvy fans can sneak into the visitor's locker room, and find, and disable the hidden microphones. -
R Incognito on Real Sports on HBO

I have mixed feelings on the guy. I like a comeback story, myself. It's why I'm such a Duke Williams fan. Ritchie has struggled with mental health, and when football is finally done with him, the struggles will only get harder. But, there are other issues that give me pause. His history of bullying behavior, not just in regards to Martin, and his time with the Dolphins, but the times he has physically intimidated, and threatened strangers in places like a public gym, or a funeral parlor. These things point to some serious character flaws that I find hard to empathize with. I will certainly watch the segment on Real Sports, though. But, as far as whether he should be in the NFL, there are certainly much worse than him.
