If Daboll does go, I wonder what the story was with Chad O'Shea in Miami? I watched about half of their games this season on Game Pass, and thought that their play calling was pretty decent for having possibly the worst roster in the league.

I believe that when you go down the depth chart, special teams becomes the priority.

McKensie's all of 165 pounds. I would assume that Foster has earned his spot on ST. Why else would he be active?

I have in another thread, and I have read another call him "useless," and others clearly not understand his role, and/or value in this offense.

One thing that I have noticed about Foster is that on kick offs, and punts, he is usually the first player down to the ball. And, he has many times been the one to make the tackle. They use his speed on ST as a gunner, and I doubt they are going to be willing to give that up.

This seems like a thread started as a rhetorical question.

If anyone has any question as to how much the coaching staff respects McKensie's skills and value, understand that along with all the gadget plays they use him for (far beyond just jet sweeps), when they are down a P/KR, they go with McKensie. When they want a third RB option, they go with McKensie. And on Sunday, when they were suddenly depleted of CBs, they went with McKensie. I want Duke out there as much as anybody. But, anyone thinking that he will supplant McKensie, or that McKensie is "useless," is not paying attention.

In one regard, this might actually benefit him. Nevada has a long history of being hardcore anti-drug. I would assume it's a lot easier to get illegal drugs in Oakland, CA than in LV. Now, booze and hookers, on the other hand...

A lot of hay has been made today about how Yeldon needs to be active. I would like to point out that Yeldon averaged 2.6 YPC on seven carries for 18 yards. Gore averaged 4.3 YPC for 26 yards on six carries, and Gore did all his work up the middle. Motor is the clear starter. Who is Yeldon meant to supplant?

Murphy is straight up slow.

I don't think Yeldon offers us anything different than Motor. He's not a downhill runner. You might have noticed that Gore has had a pretty good game, as well.
