I'm 55, and I own a Kyle Williams Jersey. I wear it the couple times a year I make it down to Busby's in Santa Monica, CA to join other Western NY transplants for a great game-day experience. Most of the things you are saying are fair points, and if you are only watching the game for the strategy, and athletic spectacle only, well... that's just fine. That's obviously a huge part of most fans enjoyment of the game. There are many other fans who, along with the strategy, and game-play, also enjoy following the culture, and character of the team. For those fans (and, I am among them), this is a great year to be a Bills fan. But, believe it or not, if you're going to call out people like me as being childish, you're not exactly presenting yourself as a pillar of maturity. There are some truly brilliant posters on this site, and I'd be pretty surprised if the majority of them didn't own jerseys. I know Astro has jerseys-- I've seen photographs of him wearing them. Are you going tell me he has the maturity level of a 14-year-old? It's cool to be cynical. Blithely insulting is frankly immature.

In recent years past, this would be a much easier question to answer. This year, it would have to be a list. And, it's not a short list.

I will say this: San Francisco did fall for the play fake over, and over again, as did I, watching the game.

Wow. If we had played NE* week one, they would have blown us out. As it was, week four, we held our own, but lost. Now, I feel like we're genuinely the better team. As long as McD doesn't speak too loudly during halftime, and communicates the halftime adjustments in hushed tones in the locker room, we're going to beat them in Foxboro in a few weeks. Does anyone else suddenly feel like we might even take the division?

I will admit that this was the first game for either of these teams that I have watched this season. My immediate takeaways are that the 49ers did not look that spectacular, and Jimmy G looked average. Their D did a pretty good job of stopping the run, with the one obvious exception of not being able to stop Jackson. Man, he fooled them time, and time again with play fakes! I lost count of how many tackles their running backs received while not having the ball! That is something we are going to have to address. If we don't fall into that trap, and we stop the run, I think we have a decent chance to hold the Ravens to the number of points they had today. I think our D backfield can handle their receivers. I know it was raining, but I was surprised that Jackson didn't look more accurate. I'm sure we're going to be 8 point dogs to these guys-- or thereabout. But, I think we have a good shot at them. Singletary should do well against them, and so should Allen.

Because it's such a craptastic game, I doubted more than half the Cincy, or Jets fans would even be watching. I suppose some of the Cincy fans have switched over by now, though. Good call on Cincy, though.

What a weird Sunday. I want the Dolphins to beat the Eagles. I want 49ers to beat the Ravens, and I actually care about the Steelers/Browns game.

I really, really want the Steelers to win. I almost feel like a Steelers fan.

I was tempted to watch the Browns/Steelers for the intensity but, I think I'll go with the 49ers/Ravens.
