  1. I just hope McDermott takes the following precautions: - Hire security to guard the fire alarms (and the team, for that matter) in their hotel. - Change up signals before the game. - Speak in code over the mic. - Expect the mic to cut out at bad times. - Get someone on field to get their hands on one of the Pats* balls, and check for proper inflation. - Don't discus specifics in the locker room before the game, and discus halftime adjustments in hushed tones with music playing in the background. - Bring their own bottled water. - Maybe hire a food taster. - Protect Josh Allen! Counteract their cheating, and this is a winnable game!
  2. To be fair, rookies on the D line will always take some time to develop. Clearly, Oliver is in an ideal situation for just that, and Q. Williams is clearly... not. I will admit that I say this as someone with zero respect for Greggo, and a very large amount of respect for Frazier, and McD. But, I don’t think anyone should sleep on Q. Williams, or consider him a bust.
  3. I was at a bar that had until recently been called "The Steel Pit" in Los Angeles. Not sure why they changed the name, but it is still frequented by Steelers fans. When Tre got hurt, I yelled, "NOOOO!!!," and a dick in a Steelers jersey laughed at me, and pointed. They're awful fans, even from 3,000 miles away.
  4. I was pretty much born into Bills fandom. I remember my father yelling "JUICE, JUICE" at the TV screen in the early seventies. I guess the four years we were losing the Super Bowl were pretty fun, but I was in my twenties back then, I wasn't really following them that closely, and I honestly don't remember much from my twenties. So, unquestionably, this is the funnest year I've ever had being a Bills fan. It feels... weird. Like an abused, stray dog that's still afraid to trust anyone.
  5. Nothing builds a winning culture like losing...
  6. The people who are saying that Duck Dodgers is playing better than Josh Allen do not understand football.
  7. Is DC Tom really the only poster who can call someone an idiot?
  8. Difference between Duck, and Josh: Duck cannot throw under pressure. Allen excels throwing under pressure.
  9. Except that it is, you know, his job to know what the hell he’s talking about.
  10. For those hoping that Allen would hit the deep ball tonight... don’t hold your breath.
  11. I feel like he just hasn’t watched the Bills in about two decades.
  12. I’ve always sort of given him the benefit of the doubt, but Chris Collinsworth is an idiot.
  13. I see your point. But there also might be the perception of the Bills calling out the Pats*, which is not a good look, under present circumstances.
  14. I went onto a Pats* fan forum to see what they had to say about this incident, fully expecting them to call out poor fan behavior, and show some empathy for Mahomes' girlfriend. And son, was I wrong. http://patriotsfans.freeforums.net/thread/9136/patrick-mahomes-gf-tching-pats
  15. Landry, and Edelman are definitely my top two. But, also Derek Carr. Can't stand that guy.
  16. Also, regarding "why the Bengals?," really the question would be, "why not the Bengals?" It would be an odd set of circumstances if, after the entire season, the Bengals were the only team they spied on. If they've been caught in week 14, they've been doing it all season. And, as bad as the Bengals are, it isn't a meaningless, December game. There are many implications for the Pats* in this game, and the will leave no stone unturned.
  17. Apparently, the Pats* disagree with you. From their own statement: "WE understand and acknowledge that our video crew, which included independent contractors who shot the video, unknowingly violated league policy by filming the field and sideline from the press box."
  18. I was at the last two Bills games in Los Angeles, @ Rams in '16, and @ Chargers in '17. Both opposing teams' fans were very polite. And intimidated. There were lots of us.
  19. I'm a big Duke Williams fan, but I don't think he's that guy either, although I do think he can make catches that no one else on the Bills can. That being said, there wasn't a single player on our offense yesterday that the Ravens were uncomfortable putting single coverage on. I suspect they might have felt the need to double-cover Duke in the red zone. But, your point is well taken. We need a true playmaker, whether that is WR, TE, or even RB. And, I take the QB out of that equation. It can't all be on Josh.
