  1. The question over whether to postpone the draft, or not, is a question of revenue. The way the draft is now structured, with tens of thousands of fans showing up, multiple media venues, and the huge gala environment represents an enormous amount of revenue for numerous media entities, as well as hundreds of business interests in the host city-- not just the NFL. If the draft happens on schedule, that gala environment, and all the commerce it generates would be a non-starter, and a huge loss of revenue.
  2. Foster had become a stand-out on special teams. It's what kept him active all season. Personally, I see our WR corp as really only lacking a #1WR. We seem stacked at #2WRs, with a full range of skill sets. Imagine if we land Amari Cooper, and we had a roster with Cooper, Smoke Brown, Beasley, McKensie, with Roberts, and Foster primarily on ST. Would that not be a solid WR corp? Special Teams.
  3. Which team made it to the playoffs again?... I can't remember... one of those teams were 10-6, and the other 6-10...
  4. The AFCE will finally be a competitive division next season, and the Bills may find themselves #3, or even #4.
  5. There really isn't too much to argue here. Some might disagree with the spin on Smoke, and Beasley's "career years," or that Allen made Jones look above average (or that Jones ever looked above average, for that matter). But, for the most part, I agree with your opinion on Allen. For me, the two games that really highlighted Allen's character were vs Pittsburg, and Dallas. He's hard to rattle (which made his O.T. performance vs. Houston doubly disappointing). But, I do have one issue with your post: Is Allen really "very polarizing?" I don't think so. Sure, there are the handful of usual suspects who will bend the narrative to fit their go-to negativity-- that's just a constant. And, there are plenty of posters who are skeptical. I'm skeptical. But, I would say the vast majority of Bills fans genuinely like him. In general, I'd say he is the opposite of polarizing-- he's downright inspiring, both for his team, and the fanbase. Tyrod Taylor was polarizing. EJ Manuel was polarizing. Peterman was polarizing. Josh Allen is Jesus Christ compared to those guys. As my skepticism towards Allen has lessened, my skepticism towards Daboll has increased.
  6. I was never a fan of Rosen's, and I've been glad we didn't take him from the moment we didn't take him. That being said, IMO, Rosen is still an unknown commodity, as far as his NFL career is concerned. I can't remember another QB having been set up to fail to the degree Rosen has been.
  7. I kinda feel like we have an entire stable of WRs who "aren't bad."
  8. There may be some interest in having a mentor for both Knox, and Sweeney, a la Gore/Motor. I could imagine that Beane/McD might see enough potential in both of those guys to not reach too far for another TE.
  9. Why isn't Terry Pegula (Bills) on this poll?
  10. If we're to be honest... - This last season was as easy a schedule as I can remember. - Next season, at least as it stands now, is a much tougher schedule. - Regardless of whether Brady* leaves the Pats*, or not, the AFCE will be a much more competitive division. I said going in to this last season that the Bills could be a 10-6 team, or they could be a 6-10 team, and I saw it going one way, or the other. I see it that way going into nest season, as well. We're either going to stumble, and lose momentum, or we're going to really start to dominate. If I had to bet on it, I'd go with the latter. )I'm a homer, after all.) But, the former wouldn't surprise me.
  11. KC 24-21 How do I receive my free hat? And, does my hat come with a bowl of soup?
  12. A real quarterback would have set the fan on fire first.
  13. Once a Patriot*, always a Patriot* (unless they come to the Bills). I'll be rooting for KC.
  14. I have to believe that interest in going to the Super Bowl went up as soon as the Pats* were knocked out of it.
  15. The Phins had a primetime game, early in the season, when Rosen was starting, so there were cable-cam shots with close-ups on Rosen. He looked absolutely depressed. You couldn't find a worse situation for a young rookie QB. The Phins' front office practically slapped him on the ass and said, "now go out there and suck!" If he ever had the potential to be a starting NFL QB, one would think that he will either come out of it stronger for his tribulations, or he's been utterly broken.Kinda hope he gets a better opportunity to succeed. And, it might indeed be in Miami.
  16. This game highlights the importance of special teams.
  17. I did not even know who was mic'd up for the Bills, and did not hear Hughes once during the game, and there can only be one explanation for that: He never mentioned JJ Watt.
  18. I see a thread like this, and I have to wonder what the real point is. Win or loss, every game has mistakes in it. Digging in to the minutia of one botched play has "agenda" written all over it.
  19. Is this a serious question?
  20. Well, small consolation, but at least the Pats* lost.
