  1. Well, the Emperor dealt with Chad Ochocinco, Antonio Brown, Tebow, Josh Gordon, and Tom Brady, for that matter. I'd say he knows how to deal with a head case. This I agree with.
  2. I'm confused... why is this guy primarily identified as a "Bills fan arrested on COVID-19 hoax?" Is it just that he was wearing a hat? Or did he launch himself through a burning table?
  3. "As a valuable asset to our hospitality family, when business returns to normalcy, we encourage you to come back and apply for an open position." Apparently, these guys don't understand the definition of the word "family." That is some cold sh++. Speaking for myself, I was working on a pilot for NBC/Universal, which represents about four weeks of work. We were two weeks into rigging, they shut down all of Universal Studios (as has every studio, and production in Los Angeles). They then decided to give everyone two weeks pay, while they figure out what happens next. The bottom line does not always have to take precedence over doing the right thing.
  4. Beane, once again, seems to be lining us up to go for BPA at a position of need. Personally, with the signing of Diggs, I don't consider WR to be a position of need. We lacked a true #1, but are fairly stacked at #2s. Unless there is a serious standout at WR in the second round. LB, DE, DT if Jordan Phillips walks out the door, RB, RT. I'd rather see depth at safety before drafting another potential #2WR.
  5. We were very lucky that just a couple days before "The Great Toilet Paper Scare of 2020" we just happened to run out of toilet paper, and my wife bought a 24-pack (as she always does). Three days later, there was not a roll of toilet paper to be found in LA County. Then, last week, I was at Smart & Final, getting some non-perishables, and the guy ahead of me had a shopping cart filled with junk food, and about eight cases of bottled water, and I thought to myself, "dude, you don't even drink water..."
  6. The bottled water, especially. That industry operates under the same standards as tap water, and are often found to be short. The TP thing is crazy, too. I ended up ordering a supply online to put in storage. I'm not hoarding, or anything. I just don't want to get caught with my pants down.
  7. As delayed as the U.S. response has been, it is not unlikely that we are on track to avoid the seriousness that Italy is now facing. One article that I read this morning outlined how right now is the time for "social distancing" to have it's most important effects. There are certainly areas that are going to be hammered. I can only speak to Los Angeles, where I live, and I have to assume that the enormous homeless communities that we currently have in places like downtown LA are going to be decimated. Likewise, I suspect that NYC could be in serious trouble. However, the point of the current steps being take (ALL of the motion picture studios in Los Angeles, and at least 95% of productions, for example, are shut down) is to slow the rate of infection to a level that the healthcare industry can handle. This is a crisis that will pass.
  8. The question over whether to postpone the draft, or not, is a question of revenue. The way the draft is now structured, with tens of thousands of fans showing up, multiple media venues, and the huge gala environment represents an enormous amount of revenue for numerous media entities, as well as hundreds of business interests in the host city-- not just the NFL. If the draft happens on schedule, that gala environment, and all the commerce it generates would be a non-starter, and a huge loss of revenue.
  9. Foster had become a stand-out on special teams. It's what kept him active all season. Personally, I see our WR corp as really only lacking a #1WR. We seem stacked at #2WRs, with a full range of skill sets. Imagine if we land Amari Cooper, and we had a roster with Cooper, Smoke Brown, Beasley, McKensie, with Roberts, and Foster primarily on ST. Would that not be a solid WR corp? Special Teams.
  10. Which team made it to the playoffs again?... I can't remember... one of those teams were 10-6, and the other 6-10...
  11. The AFCE will finally be a competitive division next season, and the Bills may find themselves #3, or even #4.
  12. There really isn't too much to argue here. Some might disagree with the spin on Smoke, and Beasley's "career years," or that Allen made Jones look above average (or that Jones ever looked above average, for that matter). But, for the most part, I agree with your opinion on Allen. For me, the two games that really highlighted Allen's character were vs Pittsburg, and Dallas. He's hard to rattle (which made his O.T. performance vs. Houston doubly disappointing). But, I do have one issue with your post: Is Allen really "very polarizing?" I don't think so. Sure, there are the handful of usual suspects who will bend the narrative to fit their go-to negativity-- that's just a constant. And, there are plenty of posters who are skeptical. I'm skeptical. But, I would say the vast majority of Bills fans genuinely like him. In general, I'd say he is the opposite of polarizing-- he's downright inspiring, both for his team, and the fanbase. Tyrod Taylor was polarizing. EJ Manuel was polarizing. Peterman was polarizing. Josh Allen is Jesus Christ compared to those guys. As my skepticism towards Allen has lessened, my skepticism towards Daboll has increased.
  13. I was never a fan of Rosen's, and I've been glad we didn't take him from the moment we didn't take him. That being said, IMO, Rosen is still an unknown commodity, as far as his NFL career is concerned. I can't remember another QB having been set up to fail to the degree Rosen has been.
  14. I kinda feel like we have an entire stable of WRs who "aren't bad."
  15. There may be some interest in having a mentor for both Knox, and Sweeney, a la Gore/Motor. I could imagine that Beane/McD might see enough potential in both of those guys to not reach too far for another TE.
  16. Why isn't Terry Pegula (Bills) on this poll?
  17. If we're to be honest... - This last season was as easy a schedule as I can remember. - Next season, at least as it stands now, is a much tougher schedule. - Regardless of whether Brady* leaves the Pats*, or not, the AFCE will be a much more competitive division. I said going in to this last season that the Bills could be a 10-6 team, or they could be a 6-10 team, and I saw it going one way, or the other. I see it that way going into nest season, as well. We're either going to stumble, and lose momentum, or we're going to really start to dominate. If I had to bet on it, I'd go with the latter. )I'm a homer, after all.) But, the former wouldn't surprise me.
  18. KC 24-21 How do I receive my free hat? And, does my hat come with a bowl of soup?
