  1. I'm with you. I enjoy preseason games for the same reason. I think we represent about 10-15% of the fanbase.
  2. In 2018, it was JOSH'S JAGS.
  3. Levi's also listed with a hamstring injury. So, there's that... Siran Neal, who was listed as a safely last season, played quite a bit of nickel last season when Taron was out. I wonder how he would do spotting Wallace, should his hamstring prove to be an issue? I agree with other posters-- we should activate Cam (and/or Dane).
  4. I would love to see the stat for how many UDFAs made rosters this year compared to previous years. And for the ones that did make it, I wonder how their success rate will stack up? I would guess that those numbers are much lower this year.
  5. This guy strikes me as one more pundit who doesn't really pay attention to the Bills (yet), and for someone who fancies himself as a gambler, he doesn't seem to have done his homework, or follow his own advice. In the introduction, he states: "Focus on consistency. You're going to see teams who know each other, who need less practice and who have cornerstones on the roster and in personnel/coaching locked in succeed more out of the gate in my opinion." Did he miss the stat where the Bills have the most continuity of any team in the NFL going into the season? Did he miss the amount of turnover the Jets have had, including their entire O-line?
  6. Preseason games most definitely serve multiple purposes. They give the coaches an opportunity to dial in their schemes in real time. They give the coaches the opportunity to fully evaluate their rookies in a real game. They give the coaches an opportunity to evaluate free agency acquisitions for scheme fit. They give the coaches the opportunity to test various formations. They give rookies, and new players the opportunity to prove themselves to the coaches, or to showcase their development to other teams who will be looking towards final cuts. AJ Epenesa will almost certainly get less game time early in the season because he did not have the opportunity to play in a preseason game. Singletary was featured heavily in preseason last year, for good reason. I honestly feel bad for rookies, and especially UDFAs this season, and I am not alone. Several Bills players have said the same. If you don't like preseason games, don't watch them.
  7. It's a joke... 'cuz, you know Fox News, and... oh never mind.
  8. And all the virtual fans will be Trump supporters...
  9. I'm sure this has been said already, but Bojo was third in the league for dropping the ball inside the opponent's 20-yard line, behind the Pat*, and I think the Chargers. I haven't seen a stat for dropping it inside the 10-yard line, but I think he was pretty good at that, as well. To my mind, also, I feel like he got steadily better as the 2019 season went on. I'd say trust McD, and Beane on this one.
  10. There will be Jets fans calling out SAR.
  11. I thought so. They were used very differently, but I suspected that Shaq would have had a much better time filling Murphy's role than the other way around.
  12. LOL, Siran Neal called out to him, "Goddammit, you're Antonio Brown, you know that?"
  13. Well, if we did see the best of Shaq, it was last season, which was better than the season before, which was better than the season before that. Be that as it may, I doubt he misses us, either!
  14. But, if McD is planning to essentially split time on the field between Norman, and Wallace (not unlikely), could McD not believe that Norman had earned the starting title from his veteran experience? Just conjecture.
  15. I'm not sure Shaq's reached his ceiling. His career certainly had an uphill battle in Buffalo, and I have a feeling he is going to excel in Miami. Be that as it may, I don't think he is an apt comparison to Epenesa at all. We shouldn't expect to see much out of Epenesa in the first half of the season, but I think he could develop into a solid pass rusher. His upper-body technique has been described as advanced, by college standards. His talent is in throwing opposing linemen off balance. I think we saw a brief glimpse of that in training camp when Bryan Winters found himself laying on the ground. I may not have watched enough of Butler to warrant my concerns, but what I did observe was inconsistent, IMO. I'll be happy to be wrong about that. I wonder how often he will be rotated with Wallace? I would expect them swap frequently. Could Norman's starting status just be in deference to his vet stature?
  16. I'm a little concerned with Vernon Butler starting over Phillips, but I suspect there will be a stout rotation there, anyway. I'm also concerned with AJ Klein, and our depth at that position. Klein may be our best option at Will, and that is a concern. The first thing I'm going to look for when the offense takes the field Sunday is the right side of the line. Personally, I feel like we're going to see Ford at RT, and Williams at RG. But, I've felt that would be the case since they signed him, and I went back and watched Williams play at RG, and RT. And I've been flamed for that opinion. Maybe I'm just being stubborn.
  17. And with Greggo setting the tone, you know their D is going to play dirty.
  18. Well, if you can think of it, it probably exists. And, here it is: The Patrick DiMarco Highlight Reel! Unfortunately, the only highlight in a Bills uniform is his catch-and-run from Allen in '18. Good times! Or, rather, good time!
  19. Hard to vote-- I'm torn between what I want to happen, and what I think is more likely to happen.
  20. Here's my bold prediction: We're going to love Bojo by midseason.
  21. Never has NFL reporting been more of an echo chamber!
  22. I wasn't responding to the OP, really. @Alphadawg7 is one of my favorite posters, in fact. I was more responding to the odd conviction of many posters on this site that Moss has somehow already established himself as an NFL running back, without having played a single snap. IIRC, Singletary started week one, last season (?) as did Ford, and Oliver, so it's not like McD isn't willing to start a rookie. But, Singletary started after having numerous preseason game snaps. In one of those games, Motor was handed the ball something like 15 offensive snaps in a row. Moss has absolutely nothing like that to compare. As for the Barry Sanders reference, again not calling out Alpha, at all. That literal comparison has been made in at least three other threads since the draft that I can recall. It's that overly-optimistic conviction that allows some to think that Moss, an untested rookie with zero NFL snaps, might start over Motor, based on rumors from the most secretive TC we've ever had.
