Wow, that's a lot more than I thought! It's really hard to get a bead on the interior line during a normal broadcast. Now I really want to go back to the game, and key in on him for a bit.

As soon as we signed Klein, I went to Game Pass and watched the two Saints games where Klein had the biggest statistical impact v. Tennessee, and Seattle. I thought he looked low-motor, and seemed slow to the ball, especially compared to someone like Milano. Too many plays he would wait for the play to come to him. I know a lot of Saints fans liked him, and his reputation was as a run-stuffer. But, I didn't particularly see it, and I felt we would be disappointed in him, if that was the way he played here. I know that two, fairly random games is not much of a sample size to draw an opinion, but I feel like I'm seeing the same player in a Bills uniform. He tackles well when he's close enough to the action, but I don't see him getting after it the way Milano, Edmunds, and Lorax did last year. I don't know if Dodson is as good a tackler as Klein, but I do think he is faster. We'll see, and honestly, I trust McD, and Frazier over my amateur observations.

I forgot all about that debate-- a true TBD classic. This discussion needs to resurface. Someone should bump that thread back up.

I believe we are going to need a more balanced attack against the Rams. I fear that if Allen is passing on over 65% of our plays, Aaron Donald will end the day with multiple sacks. Considering the limited use he had, I thought Motor looked pretty good yesterday. Moss, maybe not so much, although he does look good as either a check down option, or short-yardage receiver. I don't mind Allen's designed run plays, and I could see them using more of them v. the Rams. But, Allen's rushing notwithstanding, our run game is a concern v. the Rams.

Just for the purposes of evaluating the Pats* v. Hawks game, subtract 7 points from the Pats*. That first defensive TD was a gift. That being said, it's the Pats* D that is much more of a concern than Cam Newton. The Hawks D-- especially at the goal line-- looked almost anemic at times. Newton just strolled into the end zone at one point. We can (and have) put up a better stand than that, to be sure.

As much as it is Fitz's wheelhouse, it made sense for us to force Fitz into those quick, short-yardage, mid-field throws. It allowed out backfield to cover for our LBs, and contain the field.

Fitz had a really good game today, too. It wasn't rocket science to know where to attack us, but attack the middle of the field, he did. Oddly, as weak as we were there, and as that is Fitz's wheelhouse, it made sense for us to press his receivers, pressure him on the outside, and force him to make those quick throws. Our backfield was able to stay closer to the LOS, and reasonably contain the middle of the field, and cover for our weakness at LB. I am certain that if Milano, and Edmunds had been healthy, this would have been a blowout.

If he's healthy, I agree. But, I'd rather have a 100% Tre vs Rams, than a 70% Tre vs Phins.

Can he play multiple positions? Does he have flexibility? Is he on an upward trajectory? How is he in motion? So many questions!

To be expected. That's how he's been used in the rotation all along.

I'm going to scan the condensed Gamepass, and see if I'm not experiencing a selective memory.

You don't think he was much better against the run than he has been in the past? I feel like I saw a distinct improvement, even on the inside.
