  1. Wow, and some people say we have some of the more intelligent fans. Holy crap. RTB
  2. If Jeff Fischer was available that would be very interesting. RTB
  3. Is this a bad thing to get pissed when a 5 year plan turns into a 25 year plan? It's called passion. Maybe New England bandwagoners would be satisfied being out of the playoffs for 6 years but they could just go back to being fans of whatever other team is doing well that year. The bottom line is that this franchise is not much better off then when TD got here 6 YEARS ago. The franchise is a joke, Mularkey has lost the team. Its becomming apparant that the players have not or are no longer buying the company line. The only thing that solves this problem is winning games and this team has a stong aversion towards winning. My frickin' grandmother who doesn't watch much football asked me to explain why the team was throwing the ball on 1st and goal from the 3. Do you hear that Mularkey??? My grandmother has better offensive playcalling skills than you. That's pathetic but hey, keep up the good work. RTB
  4. If all it takes is 3 years then why has it been 6 years without a playoff appearance? By your own logic TD should go. RTB
  5. The only definite thing about this whole situation is that it clearly shows how horribly wrong things have gone at OBD. For a 10 year vet who's always been a stand-up guy on this team to be reduced to a whiney B word this season can only be a result of horrendous mismanagement from the GM on down. I don't agree with EM's actions - any player who gets millions to play a game should STFU and do what the coach tells him even if it's to clean Evans' jockstrap - but I've lost all hope for the current regime. Things will not get better until Ralph cleans house from the GM on down. RTB
  6. I think the rest of the league laughs at us. You absolutely must come away with 3 points in that situation. 7 would be a bonus. The Dolphins were completely back on their heels and getting spanked. Passing the ball there goes against every shred of common sense and makes MM and TD look like complete hypocrites when they talk about having a tough power running team. It was a god-awful play call that was instrumental in the team losing the game. I was a MM fan when he first got here but 2 years of overcoaching and I've changed my mind. This franchise needs to clean house from the GM to the waterboy. RTB
  7. What now? Fire everyone. I mean it, from TD to the friggen Jock Strap Coach. Gone. This team hasn't had heart or guts since Wade's team lost to Tennessee. This is a result of poor player selection and poor coaching. You will not get rid of this culture of losing unless you clean house. I was a Mularkey fan but the continued pathetic play of this team and collapse when the smallest amount of pressure is applied is absolutely atrocious. This guy's playcalling is GOD AWFUL. Gone. Everyone. Start over. Another 5 years until we SNIFF the playoffs. RTB
  8. Very average? This Miami team is one of the worst teams in the entire league, just ahead of the Bills. To call them average is a sincere compliment. They are absolutely atrocious, and we LOST to them. It's an absolute disgrace. Everyone from Donahoe on down needs to be fired. Today. RTB
  9. That's what I meant when I said that unions have almost done their jobs too well over past decades. They gained a lot of leverage and used it to gain concessions from employers, be it private enterprise or the government. When companies go bankrupt all those union and non-union jobs disappear. When the going gets good, unions push for increased benefits for employees, and rightly so. Its the rare union that gives back to the company when the going is bad, especially huge unions like the UAW and SEIU. I don't think that in this country employers oppress workers anymore, so the need for unions has declined. If you don't like your job, you are free to find another. There are plenty of laws in place that prevent workplace abuses for the most part. RTB
  10. I think the only thing keeping the team in Buffalo and hopefully keeping it here when Ralph hits the box is fan support. See Cleveland. I agree that a message needs to be sent loud and clear to this organization that mediocrity is not a goal to shoot for. RTB
  11. The AMA is not a union, its a PAC. Physicians are not allowed to unionize - we get hit with anti-trust lawsuits. The health care field is government regulated, just not obviously so. I wish market forces were allowed to bear on the health care field. RTB
  12. We live with a capitalistic economic system. The purpose of any company, be it Ford, GM, whatever, is NOT to supply people with jobs. It's to make as much profit for the shareholders as possible or to supply a service to the taxpayers at the smallest cost. The purpose of Unions is to get as much for their members as possible, and who gives a **** about the shareholders or taxpayers. I think what we're seeing a lot of recently is that unions have actually been doing their jobs too well over the past decades. Companies are going bankrupt and cities are getting control boards to break the unions. What got lost for a lot of unions is that these companies do not exist to supply them with jobs and they bit too much of the hand that fed them. RTB
  13. The fact that anyone got a game ball after that abortion is simply amazing. RTB
  14. This is a joke right? Did I miss the sarcastic smiley or something? Mike Williams doesn't have character. A guy with character shows up to play every day. He doesn't fall apart when grandma dies and takes half the season off with that lame excuse. A guy with character uses adversity to make himself stronger, not fatter. RTB
  15. I think before a TE you would get OT, OG, C, OG, OT, DE, DT, DT, DE. I agree that our TE's suck and have sucked for some time. Who was our last good TE? Metzellars? Campbell is a joke, Ehus sucks, and both have injury issues. Hopefully Everett will be serviceable. RTB
  16. As long as Fat Mike is on the bench and McKinnie is in the game, there is absolutely no discussion on who was the better pick. It's not like Fat Mike was replaced by a stud offensive lineman who was playing better, the #4 Overall pick was replaced by a friggin FREE AGENT TIGHT END who is learning on the job. Are you kidding me? This is one of the biggest busts in Bills history and I wish people would stop smoking crack and making excuses for this fat, lazy, over-injured, depressed, sack-giving up BENCH WARMER. RTB
  17. I hate this farking team. I hate everything about it right now. I'll still care if they win next week which makes me hate them even more. Somewhere up there, John Butler is laughing his ass off. I've lost faith. RTB
  18. Josh Reed has a couple of good outings and you want him to anchor our WR corps for years to come? The guy barely made the squad. I'm just happy he can catch the ball again considering thats what we're paying him to do. RTB
  19. No. You don't get a guy "used" to playing on the left side by easing him into a position you don't forsee him playing. Would you want this guy playing Left tackle when he can't handle Right tackle? Take the blinders off, he's a BUST and will likely be gone at the end of the season. RTB
  20. What's the problem with this? She probably deserved it. RTB
  21. If that were the Bills, we would have tried a reverse with TKO on crutches just to "trick" the D. That's the difference between teams that win and lose. RTB
  22. Now THAT would be scary. A noodle-armed happy footed 1st year starting QB. RTB
  23. Theisman is the biggest douchebag of the bunch. I can't believe I dislike a former Buffalo guy as much as I despise Maguire. The ESPN crew is the worst in sports, period. I'd rather take Fox's 6th team over these asshats. At least we'd get some commentary on the game instead of whatever player they are blowing that week. Pathetic. RTB
  24. I can't believe people are even arguing this. The ball didn't just hit the ground, it friggin moved. You have to expect at least 1 of these calls playing against the Pats. It doesn't excuse the obligatory defensive collapse in the face of a little pressure. RTB
  25. I'm sure Travis was planning on stopping at his second substance abuse violation because of his intense loyalty to the Bills. RTB
