  1. For what it's worth, KG has nothing but great things to say about the city of Buffalo and it's fans. He loved his time there. His criticism of Taylor is that he's a little late with his throws because he's still learning how to read defenses and not going through his progressions rapidly. Nothing earth shattering there, and we see instances where TT throws before the receiver is open like in that GIF. It's just a matter of with time and experience will TT get better in this aspect, and I think he will but that's why we play the games.
  2. Are you serious? What has Geno ever done that would support you statement that he's not a pushover? He's garbage and I'd much rather face the Jets with him at QB than Fitzmagic
  3. It's not on DirecTV. Yahoo stream only outside of local markets
  4. Just came across The Score: EJ starts
  5. I dont think this is going to be an easy W. So far, We have an offense that is a little better than I expected, a defense that is horribly disappointing most of the time, and close to the worst special teams unit in the league. I think we will win but not convincingly, and I hope Rex takes the bye to adjust the defense to better suit the extensive talent we have. I still have playoff hopes but they are hanging by a thread.
  6. Get well soon Bill. If your docs think it's not detrimental to your health to watch a Bills game and you have an iPad or computer available, I'd be happy to give you my Sunday ticket log on info so you can catch it. Just PM me. All the best
  7. Agree completely and I'm happy we finally have a competent OC who I think will give Tyrod topportunity to develop into a franchise QB. It's up to Tyrod to take advantage of that.
  8. We have been so desperate for a competent team that people are predicting 18-1 after 3 games. That's ridiculous. I love the direction this team is going, but I'm going to wait until half the season is gone before I start trying to predict how games are going to go. 15 years of no playoffs will do that to you. I want to see how Tyrod responds once teams have some film on him and try to take away what he likes to do. It's still very early to annoint him the next Jim Kelly. We've been here before with Trentative and Fitz (loved Fitz but never bought into him). I think cautious optimism is the way to go.
  9. Darby would be impressed by that backpedal but who cares, we might have a legit QB for the first time in over a decade. Enjoy the ride while it lasts and hope he continues to grow. As DCs get more film there will be TT specific schemes to take away what he likes to do. As far as I can tell, he seems to have the full package of throws so if they take one thing away, hopefully he can do another.
  10. This is inaccurate. Gresh is not very knowledgable about football, which is one of the reasons he got fired from 98.5 in Boston. He was a crap offensive lineman on a crap URI team but seems to think that alone qualifies him to spew his brand of football talk. Just because you throw out "mike linebacker" or "1-2 personnel" doesn't mean you know what you are talking about and that's Gresh's schtick. There are plenty of posters here who could talk circles around Gresh in terms of football. In NE, my 11 yo daughter knows more about football than the average fan here which is why a guy like Gresh lasted as long as he did. RTB
  11. 20 years of experience. Or, you can feel free to research it yourself. Start with the International Journal of Suck My Junk.
  12. The DaVinci robot is a 100% hospital PR/marketing tool. There are zero advantages over laparoscopic procedures. In fact, patients are usually under general anesthesia much longer and the cost is 3x as much as standard laparoscopy. Appendix don't burst, like explode all over your abdomen. They can rupture and leak the infection into your abdominal cavity leading to peritonitis. This usually just means a couple days in the hospital with i.v. Antibiotics. Open appendectomies are very rare even with a rupture. I'm involved in these caes all the time and haven't had an open one in 10 years. It all depends on the skill of the surgeon. No idea what Wiliams had done, could be a hundred things. Hope he gets back soon, I liked the way he was developing.
  13. I've been a Rhode Islander for 13 years. This guy is an absolute disaster. He could be the first elected (33% in a 3 way split vote) governor of a state who is psychotic, meaning he does not live in the same reality the rest of us do. Your jaw would hit the floor with some of the things that came out of his mouth, wondering "what planet does this guy live on". Our economy in RI is a disaster, yet this guy spent 2 years trying to get drivers licenses for illegal immigrants and trying to stop the Feds from using the death penalty on a guy who murdered a business owner/father as he was depositing some cash. The Missing Link did absolutely nothing in his 4 years as Governor. He didn't run for reelection because there was zero chance he could get re-elected. The only positive thing I can stay about him is he wasn't corrupt, which puts him in the less than 1% of RI politicians. He's simply one of the most clueless individuals I've had the misfortune to have to listen to.
  14. This is a 100% crock of $hit. As someone who as been as low as 4% for competitions, there is absolutely no way a professional athlete is at 2%. You can't live at 4% for long, let alone 2%. I'm not going to go into all the reasons but the degree of calorie restriction (or hours of cardio if his calories are up) would leave near zero energy reserves to perform at that level.
  15. Kevin Gilbride works out at the same small gym I use. I asked him his thoughts about Incognito. His reply: 1) Average athlete 2) Excellent run blocker 3) One of the toughest guys in the NFL 4) Thought he got screwed in Miami Nothing earth shattering, but thought you guys might be interested in his opinion. As an aside, in the past he has had nothing but great thing to say about Buffalo, the fans, and his time with us. He's a great guy, very friendly and has a wealth of knowledge. RTB
  16. At this point, i could care less if the Pats* are proven to have cheated yet again. I simply LOVE the fact that another Super Bowl run is tainted, win or lose. The entire "Dynasty" has on humongous asterisk next to it. It couldn't happen to a more deserving band-wagon, douche-bag fan base than that of the Pats*. LOVE IT RTB
  17. There is no way I would want that Uggh wearing, ref-blowing, flag-looking, whiney, first ballot hall-of-famer, kitty on my team. No way. He doesn't have enough good years left to make up for the eternal stain on this organization that would last well beyond his induction. Besides, with our guards we would make him look like Orton back there.
  18. I think Pegula was leaning that way but it wasn't locked up before the end of the season. If it was more than early talks, Pegula would have told Marone that Polian was going to be the guy and Marone might have stayed (not saying either of those moves would have been good ones). Presumably with the good relations between St. Doug and Polian, the outcome would have been different. I really didn't want Polians son anywhere near th organization so I'm not sorry Polian bailed out. I'm not sorry Marone bailed either but I definitely didn't see that coming. RTB
  19. There is a tremendous amount of CYA going on at 1 Bills Drive and with Marone and Polian. I don't know why but I feel 100% certain those douche-bag lifers bad mouthed Polian and have a lot to do with the internal divisions that have existed for decades. If I were Pegula, I'd fire them all today. Pegulas first mistake was not to have a football guy ready to go on day 1 of the offseason to restructure the organization top to bottom. I would have loved Ernie Acorsi in that role. Polian, not so much. I have nothing but respect and good feelings for Bill but you can't relive the past and I don't think he was the guy for the job. Marone was a douche but made a very smart business decision for himself. Sure, he sold out all his integrity and everything he says about family and teamwork from this day forth will be laughed at, but he has 4 million reasons (plus whatever else he gets) not to care too much. I hope he goes to the Jets and gets destroyed by the NY media. My prediction (not what I want but what I think will happen) - Shwartz as HC, Pepper to DC, new OC, Whaley stays at GM, no football czar. RTB
  20. EJ is a good kid, so was JP Losman. Problem is, they both sucked as NFL QBs. I was all for giving EJ the entire season to see if we have a franchise QB in him. After the Houston game, there is just no way you can stick with him without losing the entire team. I'm not a big Hackett fan, but the last 2 losses were not the fault of play calling. That Watts pick -6 was the right call at the right time. EJ panicked and instead of lofting the ball or faking Watts into the air, he choked and gave it right to him. Everyone thinks we are such a great running team. That's only true if there is the threat of the pass. Watch the defenses of the last couple game stack the box against the run. EJ can't or won't check out of it to a pass, and even when a pass is called he is missing wide open receivers all the time. Not just a bad throw here or there, it's the majority of the time. You can't win in the NFL if your QB can't throw against 8 or 9 guys in the box, period. EJ at this point can't.
  21. Seriously, who gives a crap. I hope there is tension in the front office. This team has SUCKED for over a decade. Give me some people who aren't happy with the status quo. If this team opens with a few W's, all this noise goes away.
  22. The Pats* will probably sign him off the squad
  23. Don't underestimate the power a senior Senator like Chuck Schumer has in influencing whether the Bills move or not. I'm not a big Chuck fan, but he has been very vocal about the Bills staying in Buffalo and a Senator has some sway. As much as I love the area, Western NY is an economic grave yard and losing the Bills would definitely have a negative economic impact. RTB
  24. I was 100% wrong about Willis McGahee. I thought Donahue was a genius for drafting him. I thought the kid would be humbled and gracious that Buffalo spent a 1st on him and have him a year to rehab. I thought he'd be a franchise back for 10 years. Only jersey (since burned) I've bought besides Jim Kelly. He turned out to be a typical Miami hoodlum. What a f'n bum. Little heart, entitlement attitude, average runner. When that ungrateful **** dissed the city that gave him a chance I burned the jersey and couldn't have been happier when we got rid of him. RTB
