  1. Against a garbage team while we buried the Superbowl Champs. Mahomes is a phenomenal QB but for the love of God give it a rest
  2. The over analysis of these 2 throws is hilarious. On the Gabe throw, it was a perfect throw under the circumstances. 3rd down, collapsing pocket, a shot down field off his back foot. Josh put it in a place where only Gabe could make a play on it, and if you watch it in slow-mo you can see Gabe cut off his route a touch to adjust to the ball. He was only able to do that because Josh lofted the ball to the middle of the field when Gabe was running down the left hash. Now, if Josh had a clean pocket and could step into the throw and still made the same toss, yeah I’d agree it was a little under thrown and a touch better ball would have resulted in a TD. This play? Can’t get much better. On the toss to Diggs any criticism what so ever is ridiculous. Josh was running 13 mph and didn’t set his feet yet uncorked a 50 yard bomb that resulted in a TD. Please. If anyone says anything other than “WOW” just STFU. Again, if he was in a clean pocket, able to plant his feet and made that throw, I’d consider it a bit off target BUT IT’S STILL A TD so who cares.
  3. I think it’s pretty well accepted that the Ravens are a very well run franchise. I like Lamar, I enjoy what he brings to the game and I know he’s going to get paid but he’s not getting a fully guaranteed contract. They are “sitting around” because they don’t believe Lamar has what it takes to get them to the SB and they aren’t going to lock themselves into a QB who they aren’t all in on for the next 5-7 years. Instead, they have 3 more years of Lamar if they want it using the franchise tag after this season. If they believed in Lamar, they would have locked him up at the same time we did Josh. But they didn’t, so they waited to see how Lamar did and he regressed. You can blame the injuries last year, but as good as Lamar is he has hit his ceiling and has not shown significant improvement from year to year. He’s limited as a passer and the Ravens know as soon as he slows down the rushing, he’s an above average QB at best.
  4. The Ravens are one of the best run organizations in sports. They know exactly what they are doing. They don’t believe in Lamar’s long term potential or they would have already locked him up. The worst case scenario for the Ravens (Franchise tag, or tag and trade) is a LOT better than the worst case scenario for Lamar (serious injury). Lamar is going to get paid millions no matter what. He’s not getting a fully guaranteed contract and he will not be getting as many millions as he wants.
  5. Still waiting for one example to support the ridiculous judgements you made about Cook based on…… nothing
  6. Idk if enough attention has been spent to the excellent offensive game plan by Dorsey and the execution of it by Josh - specifically the plan to handle Donald. Dorsey knew Donald is not stoppable, so he developed a plan for Josh to get rid of the ball early. The first half he was a precision passer getting rid of the ball the second fastest of his career. Josh loves to hang on to the ball and make plays, I think last year he was one of the longest holding on to it. It’s a sign of his maturity and growth as a QB to not only go against his natural inclination but to execute it with such ridiculous accuracy. He has another level he hasn’t reached his ceiling yet. In the second half he was able to take deep shots because of all the work that was done in the first on the short passing game. Just an absolute master performance from Dorsey and Allen to minimize the impact of the best defensive player in the game.
  7. As a fellow GI Viking, this hits me right in the feels. What a great place to grow up! And how cool would it be to have a former Viking punt for the Bills on a Super Bowl run? It’s meant to be! You know you miss Adrian’s beef on weck! Haha
  8. For the love of god you guys can’t be serious besides the fact that she has her mud flaps all over the internet and the last thing she’d be described as is beautiful, she recently plead guilty to driving drunk with her kids in the car. yeah, great pr move
  9. He clearly has an axe to grind with McBeane. If they dragged Araiza out onto the field and shot him during the press conference, this guy would complain they didn’t draw and quarter him.
  10. Take the fall for what? Because the Bills didn’t have a binder labeled “Open in case 6th round pick gets implicated in a gang rape case and you don’t know the facts just allegations” ?? Some of you are nuts. McBeane handled this about as good as they could. The nitpicking here is incredible. You are like the mob in the Holy Grail “SHE’S A WITCH! BURN HER!!”
  11. One thing that hasn’t been mentioned - I bet McD met with the vet leaders of the team to get the temperature of the locker room. I suspect there wasn’t any pressure to stick by a rookie punter which helped with the decision to cut him.
  12. What should he have said that would make you think he came off better? I’m not saying you are in this group, but there are a bunch of posters on here who wouldn’t be satisfied if Beane and McDermot dragged Araiza on to the field house and cut his nuts off before hanging him.
  13. Did you watch the press conference or do you not have WI-FI on Mount Virtue? Beane clearly said when he read the allegations in the 11 page suit that there were allegations in there that if even one was true, it was a non starter. That says to me that he was aware of the “boulders” whatever the hell that means but the details were left out. He clearly got more detailed information from the actual suit than he had before. Read between the lines. He’s not saying Araiza lied to them he’s saying there was new information that he didn’t’ have on July 30th. Beane and McDermott have done nothing but be straight up and more open/honest than most GM/Coach combos in the league. I think they deserve the benefit of the doubt and handled this situation as best they could despite all the holy warriors on here saying they should have cast Araiza aside the second the victims lawyer contacted them in July or the second the suit was filed.
  14. Beane clearly didn’t know the allegations that were in the civil lawsuit. I think that was the deciding factor. He said if even one of those things was true it was a non-starter for the Bills. That implies that there were allegations in the suit the Bills we’re not aware of, and as he said, Araizas story didn’t change from July to now. The best thing about this thread is it identified the maybe 10 posters I’d want in in a foxhole with me because the number of moral purists on here who’d throw people under the bus on an allegation alone is astounding. I think the Bills made the right call for the organization. I think Beane and McDermot are honest no BS guys who handled this about as well as they could. I also think Matt Araiza is not going to have any criminal charges placed. If I were him I wouldn’t settle if he feels he’s 100% innocent. He will be in the NFL with some other team next year if not sooner.
  15. She’s just a twitter fan, part of BillsMafiaBabes or something like that. She has zero inside sources. Not saying it’s not true but that’s like taking and random dude/dudette’s opinion on twitter and calling it fact
  16. They can’t suspend him without a reason. They can’t put him on the PS without going through waivers first. What difference is the PS to the active roster? He’s still part of the team. For the record I think he’s gone. I hope he lied to McBean because that would justify cutting ties at this point. Unsubstantiated allegations shouldn’t cost a guy his reputation and career when it seems he’s being used as a pawn to raise the profile of the case.
  17. Except they couldn’t put him on the squad without going through waivers. Why bother, either stick with him or cut him
  18. I love all you guys saying Bills have to do X, Pegula has to Y, Beane must do Z What are you going to do? Stop following the team? Haha yeah right They will get to it on their own timeline not yours
  19. It’s a big if, but if after the facts are known Araiza’s only involvement is consensual sex with a 17 yo who misrepresented her age, he’s not getting charged with a thing and not getting cut
  20. You can’t seriously believe lawyers won’t lie for their client, and this guy seems like a bottom feeding ambulance chaser. Probably because no one else would take the case and he’s looking to cash in. Not saying she wasn’t assaulted, just that her lawyer absolutely would lie.
  21. This thread is going down in TBD history. I’m in! I’ll wait until we get more facts before I draw any conclusions but the fact that the Bills knew about these allegations and still cut Haack says a lot because I trust them. If the allegations are true, I hope this woman gets the justice she deserves from the men who committed the crimes. If Matt isn’t one of them, there aren’t enough crows in the world for the majority of this thread to eat.
  22. Because Hodgins is a dime a dozen often hurt WR who had a nice preseason game. There are dozens of these guys who will get cut and you don't need to use a pick to get one. I think we over value our fringe players and yeah I expect a few will get snatched up but I don't think anyone is trading for them.
  23. This place is hilarious. No one is trading for a RB we picked up off the scrap heap or an UDFA RB who is destined for the practice squad. Crowder is not getting traded Moss is not getting traded Lawson is not getting traded No one is trading for pre season hero Mike Love No one is trading for OJ Howard and his guaranteed salary Other GMs know we have some tough decisions coming up. We are going to lose guys to other teams because we are stacked. Lewis, McCloud, Hodgins, Bryant all come to mind. It's a good problem to have.
  24. You guys are hilarious. Seriously, the pre season over thinking here gets out of control Elam will 100% start opposite Dane, and when Trey comes back he will be CB#2 sooner rather than later.
  25. What exactly gives you that “hint of arrogance”? The little I’ve seen on him he comes across as a humble mature professional. Just curious.
