  1. Wow, GB just giving it to them. Pathetic
  2. The safety totally whiffed on the tackle too. What a horrible defensive play
  3. Horrible angle by the DB on that play. Holy crap that was Hamlin-esque
  4. He had the RB wide open in the middle. No way he could miss him he was right in front of him. Weird play
  5. McD cannot stick to what works. Love the deep shots on third and short
  6. According to the pool report from the ref, Stevenson was never wrapped up and controlled on the initial stop and that’s why they didn’t blow the whistle. Debatable, but if you watch they play again it does have some merit. Stevenson blasts into the pile, gets stopped, then kind of jump backs and tries to advance again before getting buried and stripped.
  7. If this team plays clean, they are nearly unbeatable My frustration comes from self inflicted wounds, and there were a TON in this game not even counting Josh’s TOs. The constant penalties were drive killers. Special teams was a near disaster. Hines forgot how to catch a punt for the second week in a row (conditions probably impacted that). Josh not taking the check downs a second earlier when they were playing 8 in coverage. I was a big Dorsey critic until the NE game. I think he’s adjusted and there are short or check down options available on almost every play. He’s been running the ball more consistently as well. Josh now needs to adjust quicker especially when he sees them dropping 8 in coverage post-snap. If he does that immediately they will stop dropping 8 and open up the deep shots.
  8. You have to take the bad with the good with a QB like Josh The bad is his arm arrogance and how that impacts his decision making. The good is his arm arrogance and how that impacts his decision making. Josh often is a second late to his check down because he know he can extend plays and he’s always looking deep first. There’s no problem reading deep to shallow but he has to process it quicker and get to his check down or short throw sooner. He’s a smart guy, so I’m having trouble understanding why he doesn’t understand or believe that if he hits those shorter throws earlier in the game and sooner in the play it will open up things downfield so much quicker. I don’t get it.
  9. No worries. We will get Prime Time Josh. After 2 brutal weather games we are going to come out comfortable and on fire. It’s going to be a well balanced attack with Josh not playing hero ball and our D slowing Cinci down considerably.
  10. WE ARE ON TO CINCINNATI!! Another W. That’s all that matters. I don’t care how. I think Josh didn’t take the Bears D seriously. He came out gunslinging looking for kill shots every play. You could see how late he was to the check downs because he’s milking every second he can to look deep. If he would just take the easy yards a second quicker it would open up the downfield stuff so much more. The pics were one awful decision and one awful throw. Maybe the wind got it, IDK, I didn’t care. I love James Cook. He is friggin smooth like butter and gaining confidence in every game. If Singletary walks he will be our lead back but I bet Singletary comes back on a team friendly deal. Horrible special teams, probably the elements. Without the self inflicted wounds be drop a 50 burger on the Bears. When we play clean, we are nearly unbeatable.
  11. Wow, this is some of the worst football analysis I’ve ever seen. You clearly don’t know what you are watching. Fields didn’t run because we used a contained rush with a spy. The few times he tried, he got hit early and dropped. But please, keep regaling us with your outstanding takes
  12. The NFL trying to put the toothpaste back in the tube Good luck with this. It’s only a matter of time before it impacts a game, if it hasn’t already, all because of the NFLs never ending pursuit of even more $$$ I’m not against gambling btw, just that the cat is out of the bag now and there’s no controlling it as much as the NFL will try
  13. There has never been a football game where there were both snow and fans in the stands where snowballs weren’t thrown. Never. It’s comical to listen to some moan about “the look” or like there are some rules in play when it comes to where and when you can throw a snowball BTW, they weren’t live grenades, they weren’t iceballs, it was freshly fallen snow. No one was injured and there wasn’t any high risk of injury. I’ve got an idea, if the NFL doesn’t want fans to throw snowballs maybe they should chip in cash to help remove snow from the stands? Much to do about nothing
  14. Murphy is awful. I had to listen to the Chiefs game on the radio and I actually listened to the Chiefs feed (and I hate those guys) after the first quarter because Murphy sucked so bad. I could not get a vision in my head about what was going on in the game. Zero inflection to imply a big play or a 1 yard gain. Numerous screw ups on passes complete/incomplete. Numerous times he doesn’t mention the formation or personnel changes. Flat out gets our own guys names wrong. How this guy keeps his job I have no idea.
  15. If we need to miss Poyer this is the game. We will be sitting in a 2-deep shell playing zone most of the time with a spy on Fields and eyes in the backfield. Their only playmaker on O is Fields. That’s it. He holds the ball the longest and just takes shots downfield but their O has no consistency. Play zone, rush 4 in a contained rush with a spy and limit his rushing lanes. He’s going to make some plays.
  16. Oh, you are back Sorry about your Fins loss, that must have hurt How are your boys over at Finheaven taking it?
  17. Epic eulogy for the Pats*. Couldn’t happen to a better franchise. Stupidest play in NFL history and it happened on the GOAT’s watch. Beautiful. And “planting Mac Jones into the center of the earth” is laugh out loud funny
  18. That’s because they were. Duh
  19. KC isnt’ over rated. Opponents usually need to play a mistake free game to have a chance to beat them. Like us, they can make mistakes and recover
  20. Do people understand getting the first down meant NOTHING. All that was required was not to score. It’s pretty revealing that a number of posters have a lack of understanding of situational football. Personally, I wouldn’t have even run Motor. I would have kneeled twice to make them spend a TO and run the clock down. The conditions weren’t bad for kicking a chip shot. Why would you ever leave 35 seconds with a timeout for Miami and risk Waddle/Hill/or a BS pass interference when you have Bass-O-Matic from chip shot range? This is a non issue. They did the right thing and it worked. 13 pages for this? Wow.
  21. I preferred this type of game honestly. I mean my heart didn’t, but in retrospect this is another W that keeps these guys humble and hungry. Battle tested. Nothing better than getting the ball with 5:56 left and methodically, slowly, tearing the guts out of the Fins and their lame fan base. That’s championship level football right there and it came against a big rival in a very meaningful game. Throw in the snow globe 4th quarter and it was one of those once in a decade (although with Josh it’s becoming once a year) wins. 11-3. On to Chicago. One game at a time. It’s going to be like this until the season is over.
  22. 11-3. We are on to (Chicago) Cincinnati. That’s all that matters. My god people, they weren’t throwing hand grenades, relax. There has never been a football game full of snow where snowballs weren’t thrown. I love the fan police on this board.
  23. I think the best outcome for us is for it to stay cold as hell and the snow holds off. Heavy snow would be an equalizer while just frigid temps will definitely effect Miami more than us.
  24. I absolutely love a good snow game (from the comfort of my couch). Buffalo is the better team no question but there’s going to be a lot more randomness than usual in this game. We cannot let them establish a running game, and tackling the short routes immediately is going to be a priority. Need to force Tua off his first read and to throw outside the numbers. On offense, I’d love to see a solid running game / down field play action shots with the short/intermediate passing game being our go to. I don’t care how we do it, just get the W
  25. I agree with all this. That’s why it’s the job of the coach/staff/NFL to protect players from themselves Fish McD had the biggest fail putting Tua back in with a big assist from the NFL. That was outright disgusting. Saleh failed allowing White to go back in. After that Milano hit he should have stayed on the bench. 2 coaches more concerned with W’s than their player’s health
