  1. I'll be honest and admit that our lack of pass rush vs the Chiefs had more to do with our back end unit + coaching decisions than actual pass rushers failures. So I will agree
  2. Fangio is outclassing Reid here, while McDermott gets schooled by him.
  3. "it's the MVP award not the best stats award" said by ravens fans last year. The true take
  4. From a marketability perspective this is absolutely criminal
  5. This season is McDermott over performing and Beane underperforming. This is the first year of a partial rebuild, one or two S tier picks by Beane can have ripple effects on our successful future. In past years I had total confidence
  6. Very good hire for them. He will be a good culture builder - but if they don't draft right, they will be in the same shoes they were in 2022 in which they have a great defense but no offense and everything erodes
  7. I have stopped taking football as seriously over the years, unfortunately its the only way to not be personally bothered by a game. Laughing is good - the bias stings and makes me question the integrity of the sport
  8. You just need to win 1 Simple - get there win
  9. The definition of insanity is having Mack Hollins be the go-to guy. Where are all these pieces? This is a GM and coaching failure. I think this go around Beane deserves more of the blame than in previous years..
  10. Football is just a game, but it is becoming exceptionally more draining. Players aren't living up to their draft positioning (Kincaid, Elam, Coleman) that's on Beane Coaches aren't responding to game adjustments. Brady had questionable calls on the final drives that let the refs dictate the game.. Making it this far is not a given, it's hard to get here and it's hard to win. It hurts to know we are wasting Josh's prime with this stuff..
  11. This team has been built to stop KC every year after 2020, there is no reason why we should normalize losing to this enemy. There will be no participation trophy when our coordinators gets poached and we are back at square one.
  12. Amateur troll, I would have laughed harder if you said Tre White
  13. Oh you mean actually having a run game? and actually having a passing attack that doesn't go through one player. Health.. no trick plays! This is a much better shot then in years past
  14. The AFC is a three headed monster of rock paper scissors. With such powerhouses there also is a level of luck involved - a few lucky bounces does not make Lamar or Allen or Burrow any lesser.. They all have the challenges with contesting against top talent and a dynasty.
  15. It's very hard to accomplish what this team has done. The job is not finished - two more
  16. You are making an argument for MVP about stats, it's most valuable and entirely controlled by media narratives. The narrative was last year that Allen turns the ball over and plays hero ball. He's stopped turning the ball over. The narrative was he can't produce without a Diggs. He has had his best season without Diggs. Our skill position players are dependable but are not world beating guys, it's mostly our OL that's great. Our skill position players will fail to get to 1000 yards, the tape reads like Allen is raising the offense (also Brady but Allen is the driver). I think if you remove Allen from Buffalo we miss the playoffs. He represents what the MVP award is. The narrative with Ravens fans was to suppress anything about stats last year and now it's the most important factor when Allen has beat both #1 seeds.
  17. Love these throwbacks, not really sure why we want to look like the pats when we play them..
  18. I saw a picture of him at Kenan Stadium with his dad as a kid while his dad coached for UNC. Really cool full circle moment for him plus he is more in touch with that age group because of his girlfriend 🤣
  19. I find it so hilarious that the narrative has shifted as a fan you want your players to be laser focused on team building and playing football not Vegas, Miami party life
  20. The narrative last year was Josh wouldn't be Josh without Diggs, and he is turnover prone. He proved that narrative to be false this year despite having far and away the best QB statline Now Lamar has better stats, and a HOF running back and now it's a stats award and not a best record award. It's just funny how the goal posts move.
  21. It's a cartoon character
  22. Aging diva wide receiver gambled and lost. Grateful for the memories
  23. Coleman is good at contested catches but has a limited route tree, they do not use Samuel like I envisioned - Shakir and Kincaid run the same routes and compete for targets. The MVS deep threat never materialized. They target Hollins when it should be Samuel.. I hope Cooper opens up this offense more
  24. The roster of an NFL turns over. It is just time doing its thing - coach and QB staying the same is the barometer of long term success
