  1. Dave and Buster's is looking for someone to clean toilets. Yeah, that's what we're talkin' 'bout. Karma's a B word, ain't it Willis?
  2. It seems you have an inordinate need to tell other people what to write, think, and do. Did they teach you that in the Hitler Youth camps?
  3. I think the discussion is whatever the hell people want it to be.
  4. There really hasn't been anything like these Charles Clay threads. When was the last time we needed to play the "metaphysical" card (well-played, by the way) to characterize a thread? If this goes on much longer, I'm going to have to look up how to spell "transubstantiation."
  5. Lately, on my yearly trip to training camp, the one player who stands out to the casual fan (that's me) is Goodwin. A lot of what goes on at training camp is pretty mundane. Then, out of the corner of the eye, a lightning bolt crosses the scene. I'd read that Spiller and TJ Graham and their ilk had "world class speed." If they do, then Goodwin has intergalactic speed. He walks past guys like Spiller and Graham. If that startling speed could be deployed correctly, he would present a match-up issue akin to Gronk. I hope they find a way to keep him. He is a conspicuously special talent.
  6. Tyrod. You don't keep a name like that on the bench.
  7. I'm sorry I read thus far through this dipstick thread.
  8. I think we should drop Easley and Hogan and Goodwin to make room for, let's say, Megatron and Julio Jones. We could trade half of our defensive line for Megatron and the other half (if we throw in Gilmore) for Julio. I mean, we need to surround our young first-round QB with first-rate weapons in order to be able to ascertain whether he's "the guy" or not. Did I tell you that he's only got 14 games under his belt?
  9. He was born to run the read option, but Marrone & Buddy Hackett stifled his creative flow. This left him thinking instead of reacting, which flustered him so much that he'd just curl up in a ball and go full-fetal.
  10. That's an interesting perspective. He does have that look about him. But, as you said, it doesn't disqualify him!
  11. While it might not be the SEC, at least it's the southeast.
  12. I was thinking of him as the kind of guy who "somebody else" finds in the 4th or 5th and I wanted the Bills to get there first, for once.
  13. But there seemed to be an inordinate number of long balls in the mix.
  14. While most of the board is dueling over LeRoi's preposterous rumor concerning EJ, I thought it might be refreshingly realistic to consider a mid-rounder who might have that certain savoir faire... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9GJWShVXihk Good size, great speed, and a quick release (or so it seems to me). What do you think?
  15. Tim Graham is a bitter man with non-discernible writing talent. But he spouts all the politically correct nonsense one must spout in order to stay employed at the Buffalo News. In short, he sucks so he sucks up for a living.
  16. Isn't 'redemption' reserved for issues a bit weightier than millionaires throwing bad passes in games?
  17. Agreed. Peyton puts up formulaic yards in a pass-happy era, but Kelly is a superior QB.
  18. As I said, I haven't posted in a decade. So you can tell that I don't get out much. Last time I posted, "WTF" meant "Way Too Fantastic." So has anything changed since then?
  19. I haven't posted in a decade. But I thought that I should thank the Bills (and the original poster of this thread) for naming this great Sunday after me. I don't deserve such acclaim, but I'll take it!
