NFL rules explained: the pick play
peterpan replied to Webster Guy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That only works if the bills do a good job in that coverage. Remember the TD or maybe 2 pt conversion Indy had, the WRs crossed right off te LOS. Our outside DB stayed outside assuming the DBS were going to switch who they were covering. The inside DB ran outside with that WR showing no intent to switch. The WR who lined up on the outside and ran the slant to the inside went uncovered and scored. Aaron Williams was visibly upset with who I believe was Rambo who blew the coverage. -
5 keys to beating the Patriots on Sunday
peterpan replied to pbanach's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The biggest key to the game - don't let them steal your signals. Don't rely on the NFL to manage the headsets. Work around this is some way. Be careful what you say and be mindful there may be bugs even in our own home locker room. Then just cover the damn short passes. Don't leave a 10 yard cushion on 3rd and 6. That is the biggest part of beating the pats. -

How come they have never been fined for this? -

Karlos Williams is a freaking stud waiting to bust loose. He will run all of this weak Pats D. But I do wish we had Freddie still -

I think Peyton Manning is done

HGH and the Pats ask a lot less of Brady. flat passes take a lot less out of you than bombs -
We're #OnToNewEngland (Pats* don't seem too worried)

I would line MW up on Gronks outside shoulder, with an inside tilt, and tell mario to grab him in the arm pits and pile drive him down the LS on every play he lines up next to him. If Gronk Motions, Jerry hughes would fire out of his stance and drive his shoulder pads directly into Gronks waist like it was a blocking sled. In that event - If Gronk motions, Mario would take a cheap shot at Bradys knees until he tears his ACL. The DBs need to play press man on their WRs BC all that P***** brady throws are flat passes and drag routes -
did the NFL make new rules or did the refs make them up?
peterpan replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yea, the ref admitted that he wasn't engaged with another player. He said out T "lured" the defender?? I didn't mean to bring up the other bad calls, just these weird two. But if others want to talk about bad calls, they flagged Preston brown for landing on luck after his half head half feet first slide, yet the exact same thing happened to Tyrod twice with no call. IMO all three should have been no calls -

In that case I have seen that infraction go uncalled over 1,000 times. -
clay got called for a chop block which negated a long gain and killed a drive. But the player clay cut was NOT engaged with another blocker. The ref said that the tackle "lured" the defender in?!?!? Whatever that might mean??? That has never been illegal before- did the red invent that infraction himself or is this some new rule??? Later in the game boobie got called for running into the punter - even though he made NO CONTACT with said punter. The ref said that boobie "did not allow the punter to land" or something. I have never heard that called before and I don't believe it was ever illegal before. did the red invent that infraction himself or is this some new rule??? Among some other questionable calls these two were the most baffling.

Pats are ruining love of NFL
peterpan replied to Cal Bill's Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I started a thread on boycotting Pats*** games. It got closed for some reason, Im not sure why. But you guys should just never watch a Pats **** game again. its awful watching them cheat their way down the field throwing flat passes while the announcers S their Ds -
WSJ: Why the NFL has a Quarterback Crisis
peterpan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They also knew the play before it was called!!! -
The Pats cheat and its royally ticks me off Brady wont be suspended and Beliceat is still allowed to coach. We as fans have only one recourse - that is boycott that cheating franchise. Lets try and get the fans of 31 teams to NEVER watch a Pats*** game again. Obviously you can watch them when your team plays, like Bills/cheaters week 2, we will all watch. But this Thursday's game against the Steelers? DO NOT WATCH. I Know bills fans are a tight unified bunch and this is obtainable for our fanbase, but lets also reach out to the other teams in our divsion, the Jest boards, the Fish boards, and get them to boycott too. The Colts, Steelers, Ravens, should be easy too. Lets do this. If the league cant/wont punish the cheaters, this is really the only recourse fans of football really have. No more Patriot games PERIOD. Who is in!?!?!?! Who volunteers to reach out to other teams message boards and recruit them to boycott as well???

I am curious if Tebow is PS eligibable??? I was suprise to hear EJ was so maybe Tebow is too??? I respectfully disagree. I think he has improved a lot since entering the league. and I think he can be successful in the right offense. I also think with the tools we have on this team and the OC we have Tebow could have that success here. EJs turn around is evidence of that. Why all of a sudden does EJ look competent?? I'm not saying a starter but third freaking string.
-
IMO every team in the NFL should have AT LEAST one developmental QB on their roster. The position is way too important not to. The 3rd stronger should always be that player, and if you have an established starter, having two players like that is OK IMO. I would go Tebow all day every day because of the potential. Also with TT starting, EJ as backup, IF we ever got to a point where we needed our 3rd stringer to start (very unlikely) the offense would change very little with Tebow. It would change a lot with Cassel.

[closed]Time to jump onto the Bryce Brown Bandwagon!!
peterpan replied to ChanOverChin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Having the ball ripped out of your hands is literally the definition of a fumble. How can you say "he technically didn't fumble?" And yea, he had 1 fumble on like 5 carries. Not to mention the reason he has been a bench warmer his ENTIRE CAREER is because he has had fumbling problems that entire time -
Brady needs to be punished and idc if it's a cheap shot Albert haynesworth style or not. Break his knee then smash his face in. Then tell the media he can consider his punishment served

Fred Says Whaley Dishonest With Him
peterpan replied to BringBackOrton's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If Rex and Roman want Freddie on the team, and whaley cuts them, I would consider that 'going rogue' The coaches and FO and scouts all put in their 2 cents with regard to the roster. If there was any type of consensus that Freddie was going to make the team, and Whaley cut him behind everyone's back, that would be going rogue too -
Looking Ahead ... News about the Colts (week 1 opponent)
peterpan replied to Lothar's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Andre Johnson is well past his prime guys. A guy like corey Graham could cover him I think. I would be surprised if Gilmore is not on TY most of the game. -
Tell that to spiller. Freddie was never the feature back bc what he has was intangible. He was the best player this team has had this millennium and he should still be on the team
-
I dare anyone to name two RBs on this roster who are better than Freddie. He ll he might even be the best. I know people like Shady but just like spiller and lynch and McGhee before ten Fred always proves he is the best back on the teAm.
-
This is so !@#$ed up. Freddie is still one of the best in te league. Seriously wtf we need Fred. He could kill it with McCoy who I expect to get injured or miss time. He'll I expected fees to beat out McCoy for carries in most games just like he has done throughout his career. !@#$ I am so !@#$ing pissed
