See my post above. Its easy to get more passing yard when the coaching staff calls 40% more pass plays per game. I think the Coachs learned their lesson - we arent a running team. EJ just happened to be the QB when they finally changed their tune
-
TT and its not even close. Finally the Bills decided to throw the ball v Cincy. Ej had like 42 attempts. The the previous two games we refused to pass untill the 4th. Tyrod had 17 or 18 attempts in each game I think. When the runs sucks we need to throw is 35 times a game. That includes more swing passes to McCoy and Harvin which is something Tyrod does as well as any QB in football.

The Whaley / Ryan / Dareus disconnect
peterpan replied to PlayoffsPlease's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yep. Ryan was a horrible fit for our roster. So sad. We also aren't going to be a power running team when your OL sucks. Maybe Whaley and Rex haven't figured that out yet?? Why do we trade up for guys like Watkins and pursue guys like Harvin and clay when our OL still blows??? Like shiney new rims on a rusty 1982 camero. Woof. -
Not one sack?? Flush $1 million down the drain.

This is Rexs scheme. It simply doesn't align with our personnel. This isn't rocket appliances. It was said the day Rex was hired. Schwartz was a natural fit for our talent. -
I wouldn't say that. More like Schwartz > Rex. Schwatrz has been a big defensive name in theis league for a long time lest we forget. I think every fan was sad to see him go. And I wish we still had him! Our scheme simply doesn't fit our players. We should be letting our front 4 loose. Cover with the back end and cover those short passes better. Instead Rex's scheme asks them to tie up blockers and rely more on blitzs.

London game will be streamed on Yahoo

So does chromecast turn your TV into a 'smart' TV or does it just let you use your TV as a big monitor for your phone/computer? -
London game will be streamed on Yahoo

Is there a way to TEST you system before te game? I would hate to have the game start only for yahoo to tell me I need to update my flash player or some BS the. Restart my computer and miss the first quarter. -
He was DEFINITELY OUT. It is not a photo shopped image Did anyone happen to catch the Castrol motor oil commercial during the Titans broadcast? It was one of those "play of the game" type commercials. They showed the 50 yards TD where Bradham missed the tackle. However, when I think Corey Graham went for his legs near the sideline, the ball carrier actually stepped OUT OF BOUNDS!!!! His toe drags on the white. With the high def, slow-mo commercial having the perfect angle and could not have shown it more clearly. Anyone else catch this on Sunday? I posted a new thread about this not knowing this one existed. If anyone can dig up the commercial it will show it plain as day. I tried but with no luck.

Pats LT Nate Solder out for season
peterpan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm sure they will find some other guy who can get away with 30-40 egregious holds per game. -
I agree. This dude plays a lot and he is only a blocker. And he isn't a very good blocker. Use kuanjo in his spot. Or (if he weren't injured) use gray who could actually be a playmaker.

Tyrod Taylor: straight up baller and team mvp today
peterpan replied to TallskiWallski83's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What are you guys talkin about? Our game plan has been to run it twice for two total yards and hope Taylor can convert a 3rd an 8 behind a bad OL with lack luster WR play. I did the math after we pulled ahead. We ran it 18 times for 44 yards ( not counting TT). We had thrown it only 16 times. That's not a good ratio when your top 3 running a back are out and your OL is below average TT is not the problem on this team. The people saying he can't get past his first read are flat wrong. -
Bills @ Titans 10/11 First Half Thread
peterpan replied to Big C's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I swear it's the foot down but I'm going on my playing experience which isn't i. The nfl. Anyone care to look up the rule? In 99% sure it's the same as the QB illegal forward pass rule- as long as anything is behind the line it's OK. But they did change the rule recently maybe they changed that??? -
We have the technology...remote officiating
peterpan replied to BoccesOnTransit's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its a good idea I have thought about before. But I think it should be a centralized location correcting calls, rather than being the only calls. Like reversing the chop block that wasnt, the holding that wasnt, the OPI that wasn't, TT being over the LOS when he wasn't, ejecting OBJ after he punches our players, etc from the giants game. -
Zebra Report Week 4 - NJG vs. Bills

This is ridiculous to fine players for swearing. It's a 10 billion dollar league with so much fan base and they throw 15 year flags for it? Seems silly to me.

Titans trolling the Bills? Team tweeting about MCM.
peterpan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Ding ding ding- that is correct!!! In the first photo the ball isn't forward of it's location in the second, it is simply at the top of it's arch. The camera angle makes it appear like it moved backwards, but it didn't. If you find a screen shot of the ball as it leaves the passers hand, and right when it's caught, you can easily see it's a forward pass. The flight path of the ball is completely irrelevant. But as stated, you can't really fault the refs it was so close. Unlike the Ginats game Sunday!!!! -
My belief is that the NFL simply wants the reffing to be this bad. College football doesn't have this problem. College footballs review system is also VASTLY superior to the NFLs. All calls get reviewed. They don't have some stupid challenge flag. Instead of a ref running across the stadium to a stupid little booth, the officials in the TV room simply radio down to the guy and tell him what the call should have been. It happens fast and fair. They don't even go to commercial usually. Ahh that right, commercials! All those flags give the NFL a lot of stoppages so they can insert those!!!

Carucci: Disconnect exists between DL and scheme
peterpan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dareus had a quote about this in TC. Instead of being allowed to just rush and dominate he is being Asked to play more of a role, play a gap, or two gaps, take up blockers etc. Rex's scheme simple doesn't use our talent well. I said this when he was singed. He doesn't need guys like Mario and Dareus he needs guys like revis and lucky for us - Darby. His pressure comes from blitzes, that's where he has had success in the past. It's a bad scheme for with our personel and it was from the start. -
I Don't know if I can be a fan any longer.
peterpan replied to thronethinker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I can tell you right now the refs kept the dolphins alive v the jets in London. Especially in the forth quarter. The refs completely manufactured entire drives for them. The jets forced like 4 3 and outs in a row and wouldn't you know it. A BS call on third down that have them an automatic 1st. It's was ridiculous. But the game was in LONdON. It's much more important that the game be exciting and close rather than a blowout. The NfL needs it to exceed. -
Like others have said Johnny gold is 100% spot on. I have been saying the same thing for a long time but he put it much more elecuently. Games are so obviously determined by the reffing. Anyone who watches a lot of college football or HS football can sense a very real competitive difference in those games v NFL games. When I watch college it feels different. Like a real game, where both teams are given the chance to win. And their own play determines it. Not with the NFL. The games are decided by the refs. Rules are not enforced equally from week to week or even team to team in the same game. Penalties like bradhams PI call v the Pats helped the Pats beat us and then v the giants there are two or three times the giants did the same thing with no call. There is too much judgement in the call sand the NFL wants it that way so they can control the outcomes. The NFL is like the WWF - a bunch of fake scripted bull ****. College football is still real football.

Seriously though, is it there fault?? After five-ten horrible calls going against you I can understand people getting riled up. The refs aren't giving us a chance. Then when it's two way jawing between players it's always against us. Why isn't it ever offsetting like it's supposed to be? When they constantly pick up roughing the passer flags even when Taylor is OBViOUSLY hit late, do you really think te players feel they are being treated equally? THEY ArENT and they know it. They lose their cool but rightfully so. We didn't lose our cool vrs Miami bc it was reffed fairly. Seriously though, is it there fault??
