In the last 20 years the Bills have
peterpan replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont see how anyone can me ragging on the OP here. He is right. Claiming the Bills invested 4 picks in Losman is a moot point. Its only one players. Dalton Wilson Bridgewater Carr there are QBs to be had. The Bills dont take enough chances on these guys. -
English must be his second language. Sheesh!

Texans Release Ryan Mallett; Signed by Ravens

I wish Manual missed the flight to London!!! Just saying! -
He was a stud for two seasons and just like every other player on D, has regressed under Rexy.

Realistically, how does this all play out?
peterpan replied to Bills Fan in MD's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why does everyone say this? If you know the coach is bad why waste 3-4 years to fire him? Fire him now and fix your mistake. Admit it- Rex was a mistake. Keeping Schwartz as DC I have no reason to sliver we wouldn't have a top 5 defense. Right now we are about 20th. He is not a fit for our personel. It's easier to get a new coach rater than rework the entire freaking roster. This same attitude of kicking the can down the road is how we have gone 15 years without the playoffs and why our country is in such a financial mess. It's not a crapshoot - but you do actually have to draft one eventually! Dalton Wilson Carr bridge water - these guys are out there we just don't even try. It's the same thing as my post above- "we have manual so we shouldn't draft someone else or give up on EJ yet". Why the hell not? EJ stunk from day one give up now don't waste three years. Then draft some new guys for Petes sake. -
Salary cap, o-line, Gilmore looming for 2016
peterpan replied to BarleyNY's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I disagree with a lot of whats been said here. Our OL sucks but it wont get any better wiht Incognito or Glenn Leaving. Glenn should be easy to resign on an affordable deal because he is having his worst year as a pro. Incognito wont have a lot of bidders because of past actions. WIth them resigned I think we let Urbik loose to save cap money and draft a LT in the 1st round. Hopefully that pick beats out Glenn who then moves to RT or even RG. If our OL is Stud Rookie - Incog - Wood - Miller (hopefully much improved) - Glenn (hopefully regaining past form) then I think our O would actually have a chance to compete. I definitely think we should tag and trade Gilmore. Darby is a stud and we could rework McKelvins deal quite easily. McKelvin had his best year as a pro under Pettine and I think he will flourish under Ryan. I dont see a scenario where we can afford Gilmore. I dont see what Boobie or Manny Lawson bring to the table with their cap hits. Bradham is a guy who will out-play his contract and I definitely think he needs to be prioritized. I also think we will have to part with some of our shiney new toys. Mario may be gone because of scheme fit. Clay or shady might be gone after enxt year because of their contracts. We mortgaged the future for this year and its not going to pan out. -
What the Models Predict for the Rest of the Season
peterpan replied to CodeMonkey's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I were an optimist, I would point out that with a health Tyrod, Watkins, McCoy, and Harvin, our O was pretty darn good. Why couldn't our team turn it around once heeled? (FWIW I dont think we will turn it around, I think our main problem is our D and OL. Neither of which I see being fixed this year.) -
Lions Making Coaching Staff Changes
peterpan replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We have a top 3 caliber D currently performing in the bottom third of the league. Really no different than the lions O -
Drafting EJ was the mistake!! Giving up a 1st rounder for Watkins looks like a mistake too. teddy bridge water looks like a stud as well.

time to cut EJ. Bring in Tebow as a backup
peterpan replied to offyourocker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
tebows best ball is his fade. Hands down. He certainly would have had a TD to Gragg instead of that horrendous one throw EJ tackled him with the bad ball! -
What about EJ throwing such an awful pass to Gragg the play before? Gragg had to adjust so much and then he fell down. I could have thrown a TD on that play throwing left handed!!! No one within 20 yards in any direction he had a 25x25 yard area he could have dropped the ball into and he threw it so god awfully! I wished that Josh Johnson guy would have replaced EJ/

Phantom call on Robey =Royally Screwed in England
peterpan replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He is our 3rd string (before we traded our 2nd string) QB. With have the OL injured and the top half of our WRs. I expected EJ to suck but not this bad. Either way our injured and poorly coached team played well enough to fight there way back to a lead, only to have the refs 'keep it interesting' by awarding the Jags a TD drive. The refs did the exact smae thing in the other London Game this year. The Jets forced a 3 and out like 5 or 6 times in a row, only for phantom call after phantom call to be called on the Jets D. It was obvious that anyone watching that the League wants these London games to be close and exciting. The Bills stopping the Jaggs and running out the clock doesn't fit that narrative. -
Failed Expectations, Rex Ryan is not a leader of men
peterpan replied to Jerry Jabber's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Schwartz was a great DC keep him in that role. Bring in Roman as HC. He is worthy of the job and will get a HC gig soon. It should have been here. -
Eliot Wolf for GM of the Buffalo Bills
peterpan replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I dont think Whaley has done a bad job. Passing on QBs like Carr, Bridgewater, Wilson, Dalton (those alst two likely on Buddy Nix) are the only real negatives I can point out. I dont believe either coaching hire was his choice. -
Anyone need more evidence that the Pats*************** are still cheating? For whatever reason, this broadcast was really picking up the communication on the QBs at the line of scrimmage. All game Brady was pointing out eh blitzers with un natural efficiency - Like before the defense was even set. The most egregious of which was at the end of the game. Almost instanly after the Cheaters broke the huddle, and while the Jets were still breaking the huddle, Brady goes "Gronk! Gronk! Grape grape grape!" About two seconds later the Jets get into their defensive formation. The Ball is snapped, two blitzers come right around the left side, Gronk drops into pass protection, only to let two blitzers fly right past him, find himself WIDE open for an easy dunk pass, and walk into the endzone. So all of you patriot-cheating-deniers.... how is it that Brady knew EXACTLY what blitz the Jets would be running before EITHER TEAM was even at the LOS? Quite frankly - its impossible. If this kind of thing happened once in a while, it could be explained as pure chance. But not with the cheaters. They have a proven track record of cheating for the past 15 seasons and they are still cheating, in every - single - game - they - play.

London game will be streamed on Yahoo
peterpan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are you seeing anything? Mine is totally blank!! -
I'd say yes but I really think Tyrod can be just as good or better.

time to bet on the jags
-
And we definately would have eat the giants with a fairly officiated game. Maybe even the cheaters too.

Bills sign OL Jordan Mills off of Lions PS
peterpan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I never understood the kroner signing. His OLs sucked on all the teams he has seen on. Why would we want a coach like that?? -
Watkins, Williams, Harvin all out for sunday at Jags

Isn't Moore the guy who scored like 4 TDs on the bills as a rookie with Oakland 4-5 years back?? -
[closed]Honest Question About Hiring a New HC
peterpan replied to HuSeYiN_NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rex shouldn't have been hired in the first place. Let roman be HC or let Schwartz do it. Was Schwartz any less successful as a HC as Rex was? If Rex is fired our HC is already on staff- it's Roman. Bring back Schwartz he is out I football anyways. That's your staff right there -
Im not sure what you mean by throw the ball to the TEs more? I didnt say they should do that? Before the season the coaches said we wanted to run it 40+ times a game. I think the coaches finally learned their lesson agaisnt the Titans - we aren't good enough to run block. So we came out with the mindset of we have to pass to win. I dont think the coaches feel more comfortable with EJ throwing it 40 times rather than TT throwing it 40 times. If that were true I think EJ would be the starter. I am really looking forward to TT tossing it 40 times a game. I think that kid will drop bombs on people. Especially if we ever get Harvin and Watkins healthy. EJ also had woods or maybe it was Watkins wide open on the other side of the field for a 50 yard gain. The reason he was double covered was bc the Safety played over that way, leaving the WR on the other side wide open on a fade.
